Probably the best version of this song ever recorded! Gary is on fire, and the vibrato and bends are simply ( guitar ) perfection. Phil on vocals and bass is the ultimate partnership.
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
Was a ferocious player, both technically and emotionally. A shredder with soul, tone, taste and magic. I am incredibly sad today. We love you, Gary. R.I.P.
Gary Moore and his signature "holy shit" tone.... man... :) It's loud, punchy, yet articulate and bluesy... touches the soul. You are greatly missed, my friend.
I sat and watched this with tears rolling down my face. Poor Phil. Gary...such a legend. Addiction is monster. It's taken so many talented people from us. When will people realize it's caused by PAIN and suffering. Thank God we still have the music. I hope Phil found the peace in death that so eluded him in this life.
Two of the best guitariast ever ....brings back some good memories could listen to them jam all day it takes u all the way up there and brings u back down ever so gently nz Māori girl 2021
My world just got a little darker. It's sad when the music that fills your life becomes connected with the death of someone that you love. I hope that Gary and Phil are walking the green hills on the other side. We will never forget you. Rest well Gary.
Gary Moore. Phil Lynott. What is there to add. We all understand just how great they were. Masters of their profession. Live on for ever in our appreciation you two- for you will never be forgotten.
I saw Gary Moore in Liverpool about 10 or so years ago and he was so amazing! Thnx to him for coming to our city so many times, my parents have seen him 3 or 4 times! RIP Gary....your notes will ring on forever! Trev from Liverpool!
Absolutely the best version..keeping to the traditional recorded.. Phil and Gary what else is needed in life RIP TO YOU BOTH I WAS BORN IN PARRIS IN 1949
since 2006 this have been my favorite youtube vid, always come to get that goosebumps when I'm heartbroken or need to get my feelings right, it was not in my time but its awesome to know there were some incredible musicians before I even came to this world, to me this is one of the greatest performance in history.
Two of the greats we have sadly lost.. but they still live in our hearts with their amazing music ...rip feller's we miss you and your amazing talent 👍👍🕯️🕯️🌹🌹😞
You can see the love and friendship between these two musical giants.. Sadly Philo was in decline here though and none of us knew it.. My heart is still broken to this day loosing Phil, Gary managed another 25yrs,but was quickly taken home to join him.. Rest in perfect peace. XXX 💞
We can only thank our Maker that we are/were alive to appreciate the likes of legends alike these. I am 59! Call me old if you will. I care not! I was alive to hear the music of the 50s thru until now. I was blessed with knowing the difference between real music and what others believe is "real music". Everyone has an opinion. :)
Oh my God when Gary sustains "that note" for an eternity...pure bliss.Phil and Gary singing together was brilliant should've been Thin Lizzy but alas. RIP lads
Night and Day... Black and white... Rain and sun... Verse and reverse... Politicians and musicians… Thank You Gary Moore and Phil Lynott. You were the best and you will be always with us. THANK YOU.
Thanks for providing this video. This is one of my favorite songs & performances. The added presence of Phil Lynott with his poignant singing put it way over the top. Gary's guitar playing was beyond inspired. I have been playing guitar for almost half a century & after listening to him I still have much to learn! Gary & Phil complimented each other perfectly. What a magically classic performance. Thank God they allowed someone to videotape it. What is the date & location of this concert?
Phenomenal! Awesome! One of my favourites, would love to have been there live. GM treated the crowd to an incredible display of guitar playing. F****n' A!

A lot can play incoherently at 3,000 miles an hour, but making it sound like a songbird is a completely different matter. This is my favourite performance of any song of all time and Phil's last ever live in Ireland (King's Hall, Belfast, Dec 1984)
Здравствуйте ! С приветом из Украины ! Вам , огромная благодарность за информацию и за Ваш комментарий ! Это историческое выступление Gary and Phil ! Beautiful..🙏🎤🎸🎵🌟

Always loved this song. Saw Phil with Thin Lizzy. Miss them and I'm 64.
Gary Moore was a sensational guitarist, but having Phil Lynott singing and on bass makes it very special indeed.
I sat and watched this with tears rolling down my face. Poor Phil. Gary...such a legend. Addiction is monster. It's taken so many talented people from us.
