Topher is riding on the bumps faster than me on a highway 😅
It is basically a daily driver baja truck on 35's,frickin send it
As a 2023 ZR2 owner, these trucks are incredibly fun. Second I hit over 1,000 miles, I took it off-road and over some smaller jumps. Completely cushioned the landings and no hard thuds at all, and that was with 40psi. The new TRD Pro is definitely going to be a good competitor, with the main differences being front lockers on ZR2, but sway bar disconnect on TRD Pro.
However, the TRD Pro is rumored to be up to $63-68k while my nearly fully loaded ZR2 was only $51k.
Exactly. A fully loaded TRD off road (the build and price is now out today) is $55K. TRD Pro will add hybrid and the Offroad goodies so 63-65K is definitely possible. That's grossly overpriced. Toyota badge for 13K more than the chevy.
Yes, until they break down. Was planning to buy one...bought a Titan Pro-4x instead.
@@chrisx5127 RIP
@@thedumbestdoge881 How so? My Pro-4x is awesome! Already took her off-road! Planning on putting a 3 inch suspension lift and a 2.5 in rear. Also plan on putting front and rear armor. Front with a winch. However, I live in the frozen north so have to wait for summer to do those things. V8 is the way to go!
Yeah toyota is not very competitive this time like they claim, the colorado zr2 is around 51k and the ranger raptor is 55-56k which is top tier compared to the toyota tacoma off road with a way less powertrain for mid 50k.
Another EXCELLENT review, Topher, TY!
Proud owner of '23 Colorado ZR2. Researched midsize trucks x5yrs. When 3rd gen Colorado was unveiled my choice was made. ZERO probs @ 3k miles. Took it up to alpine resort over Christmas, averaged 25+mpg on Bridgestone Blizzaks; just fantastic on the hwy; solid on/off road. Engine is smooth, powerful; pass vehicles effortlessly. I respect the Taco but for me it's NO match for the ZR2 in every category.
3000 miles --- you expect a new truck to have issue at 3K miles? I wanted this truck, but opt for a Titan Pro-4x instead. The Titan can last past 1 million miles. 2nd only to the previous gen Tundra.
Do you have launch control in Baja mode? I’ve read some things saying 2023’s got it, and other things saying it will only be on 2024’s. I’m picking up a 2023 zr2 next week and just curious if I’d have it.
@@Jeffh99j its should have it
@@chrisx5127 why do you keep trying to compared a full size truck to a mid size, nobody cares about the titan.
Probably the best truck review viideo I've ever seen. Thank you for the info.
Topher you are the man! 👑
Bro has our dream job💀

The new chime still sounds new, the one before was regularly used around 1999/2000 to 2019 on new models.
I agree with your comment about the paddle shifters, and I also would like to see that. I also wouldn't mind if the rear window was power open and close, but I still want one.😊
Man I want this truck bad. Looks awesome.
This truck is bad ass!!
I need one of these for my jacked up roads full of pot holes in Houston.
I’m having issues with the wireless charger saw the video and noticed that your phone wasn’t charging and shows a warning sign on the phone icon just like mine, now is that normal? That shouldn’t be
how the hell did you reach sandy shores?
What camera use ur thambnail photo
Just picked mine up tonight.
What a great truck. I wish GM would have made an enclosed "Blazer" version of this.
Review and opinion on back seat comfort would be great. RUclips short if you get a chance
its sad that this wont be available in the philippines market. after owning a trailblazer during the time which it has the most powerful engine in the ph market and really one of the most feature available for its price compared to other brands. its sad that we got into a head on collision with a cement mixer in a mountain road which we almost fell of a cliff. good to say we got out unscathed. then in hoping to replace our old trailblazer with the new one sadly it shrunk to a 5 door crossover.
Maybe it’s just me but I wish we had this entire interior in the newer Cameros but unfortunately they got discontinued
Wonder if they fixed their UI software bug which would brick the truck.
Yea ones been having any issues for several months
I test drove the old version of this, from just the video this is so much better.
NO comparison. The third gen Colorado hit the sweet spot.
Wow thats fast on that bumpy road👍😂
Anyone else think it's wild that they set up a course next to telephone poles?!
I drive this same track on GTA 5 😂
അടിപൊളി ❤❤
Didnt it have 35's and a spare tire in the rear window?
The ZR2 Bison does!
Everything seems good except that engine sound.
Is depressing
is it true GM took out android auto???
On their newest electric cars yes.
only small truck worth getting right here
@@2011buddylee what kind of price diff we talking
They are all great can't go wrong with any of them lol
@@realaveragegamer3053 The ranger raptor has a starting price of $55,000. Being ford though who knows if you could get it for that price. The ZR2 starts at $48,000 but thats with none of the options everyone is going to get. Price difference isn't that big on paper though the ZR2 is going to be a lot more available for the next 3 years honestly. Ford is struggling to produce any rangers
Tacoma will be the one to get after it comes out.
Agree. However, I will add that when you're in the ZR2 it does NOT feel small! This is the size of full=sized chevy pick ups in the 70s...
When it comes to pick up trucks, I really do wish I could spend a few years in the States driving one of these... Love Chevy's...period. What sort of real world miles can you get from a gallon of gas?

Colorado, Tacoma, or Ranger Raptor? Which is the best?
Colorado ZR2, and it's not close.
No electric rear slider WHY
Seriously? 😅😂
@@MrHand-ih4sz As a heart attack
Too bad the tow rating is only 6k...
That engine sounds like a lawnmower
4 cylinder sound ruins the experience.
Fully loaded ZR2 with every usable option is $54,000
Nope, 51.5K including shipping fully loaded as far as I am concerned.
Fully loaded is 54k?
I just ordered one with pretty much everything plus a hard tonneau cover - $55k
hello
They The cars the Minecraft

ratio
…engine sound doesn’t fit the character of that truck….
This truck will only last to 150k miles then 15k to rebuild
Yup, I bought a Titan Pro-4x instead, can last past 1 million miles. Turbo just ain't the way to go.
@chrisx5127 yeah what is Ford (oh and most ALL high-end side by side UTV builders) thinking with turbos on their engines that are known to go half million miles 🤔 smh
If driven like this every single day, I agree. 99% of owners won't drive it like this, so it will last like any other motor vehicle built today. It's an awesome and proven concept, GM, don't listen to the neg nellys...
Lolol and? I mean my god people want a truck for 10k that costs $15 for 30 years of ownership. Not happening kiddo
My Gladiator is at 82K miles in 4 yrs. I change all oils and belts regularly, and more than required by MX Manual. Alternator just went, and I am seeing a little bit of coolant from water pump housing. So that will need be changed soon. I do all MX myself. Save much money as I can. Im not average owner, I drive my jeep off road every week and in backcountry. So when people ask about reliability and satisfaction. It’s all Independent to individual prospective. The 3.6 engine on mine is not most built engine, but for what I have done and memories with my kid being in outdoors all time, and still going. It was worth it. I got it one specific purpose trails and places where half and full ton truck cant go.
Overpriced,,noisey engine,GM doesn't offer much in choice
I would rather buy a V6 Nissan Frontier,and I worked for GM for over 25 years,now it's all about EV's,FD!
A frontier would be left in the dust against a 4runner let alone a zr2
@@Deadset.zr2 More reliable though. I have a Titan Pro-4x. Thing is fast!
