    Very nice review as always. I’m not a truck guy, but I’ve always liked the Colorado / Canyons. Always felt they were the only competition for the Tacoma. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

    Start/ stop usually won’t engage in a GM vehicle if you are running resources that would require engine power like the A/C

    • @brandyn22100
      @brandyn22100 10 месяцев назад

      Not true. My GM vehicle shuts off even with A/C full blast. It actually turns the A/C down until it starts back up lol. Kinda annoying

      @@brandyn22100 I said usually. If the temperature is modulated properly it will shut off. If you are stopped with the engine off running A/C it eventually starts again.

      Whatever vehicle I purchase needs to have telescoping steering wheel as my wife is 4'11" and it is hard to fit her in many vehicles safely.

    Very good looking truck, great engine, just a bit dissapointed in a new model that does not come standard with LED headlamps. A base, base, Toyotal Corolla has LED headlamps. Save those haolgens for the work truck/fleet spec owners who want to lower the cost of replacment parts

    Nice review. I currently have a 23' Colorado LT. I have had it for about 3 months and just had to have it towed to the dealership. Some sort of software update caused my battery to drain completely dead over night. This same exact thing happened in July. Thankfully I was home and not in the mountains. Dealership said they had about 10 trucks towed in just yesterday for the same issue and will take two weeks to come back. If anyone is looking to purchase this vehicle I would certainly hold off to make sure GM has everything figured out. Personally, I am trading mine in the day I get it back.

    It does look cool, but on the offroad focused package, no 360 cameras? I don't think I heard you mention anything about skid plates either. And halogen headlights too... I love the look of the new colorados' and the infotainment looks great, but for over $40k as tested, it seems like there are a lot of compromises. Especially compared to something like the Frontier pro 4x which has skid plates, LED headlights, and 360 cameras (Terrible resolution, but at least its available.) Maybe a mid cycle refresh will bring these more up to speed. Lots of competition in this segment though which is only good for the consumer.

    • @dawsongranger4940

      Trail boss has skid plates, optional 360 cam. One thing it has over the Nissan is a proper limited slip in the back

    • @elche1976
      @elche1976 10 месяцев назад +1

      All those options are available in packages. You just need to select them, and pay more. If go to a higher trim, and again pay more. If you don't care for those creature comforts, the trail boss without those packages is a great choice.

    I currently have 2022 CX-30. Starting to feel I need a truck since I do lot of camping/light offroading. So, This or Nissan - Pro 4x ? Is that V6 on Nissan worth the 7k plus? How good will this be for offroading/camping over/under Nissan ? I really like the Nissan but that 48k OTD price seems little bit out of range for me.
