I had that same Cabbage Patch Kid! But she came with fries and carrots, etc. That doll ate my finger! My finger got stuck and I had to go to the hospital and a Doctor and Nurse had to rip the mouth open and gently pull out my BROKEN pointer finger. My mom contacted the company and sent my medical bills to them. We ended up getting $3400 as a “settlement” since my mother threatened to take them to court. We could’ve got SO much more!!!!! Insane!😂

My grandparents own horses and my grandmother has gotten stepped on a few times over the years. Ouch! More recently was probably in the last year and shes 80 or 81 now. Ive never broken a bone thankfully so i dont know how it feels but ive definitely injured/sprained my ankle when i danced😂

The Polly pocket was banned because of the magnets in the clothes. It can be really dangerous if a child swallows multiple magnets as they can conect together while they are in diferent parts of the intestines essentially pinching it together creating a kind of obstruction.
Don't you think it's concerning how something should be legally banned instead of having parents that actually care and selectively choose toys for their child?

Ingesting a single magnet is whatever, but two or more isn't a stomach pump situation it's straight-up gastrointestinal surgery because it is known to cause holes in the intestines which is very quickly a deadly situation. You can still thrift some of the old ones pretty easily though if you're past the eating magnets age.

She pulled it out and took the batteries out. After she set it down, it spoke again!! That was the first time I saw genuine fear on my mother's face! She threw it away.

Eventually a rule came out in our school that you were no longer allowed to wear heelys with the wheels on in school. Same with tamagotchi, they became "too distracting in class" and were banned from school. Little did they know, smart phones were about 2 years away from taking over the entire attention spans of their students lol

Many children have died this way!!! My dad got me my first Polly Pocket set, but when I brought it home from our biweekly visit, my mom made me give it back because she “didn't want his money and gifts”. A guy I was in high school with wore heelies to school, not knwing the floors was waxed he busted his head pretty bad & our school banned them afterwards. I've never known a Teletubby to make a understandable sentence lol

Those heelies were way more difficult for you than they should have been bc of the creases in the floor. My mom had tile in her kitchen and you have to brace a d balance for every crease you ran over lol it's fun once you get the hang of it, I used to wear them while grocery shopping growing up and it was soooo much fun rolling down the isles
