I spent $1000 on an auction for a huge package full of amazon returns!!! I had no clue what was in the package but I just hoped for the best lol. Let's look at everything I got and see if it was worth it or a waste of money!!!

Pro tip. Don’t counter off or bid because it’s often going to be outbid which then increases the price. Wait until the last thirty seconds or so and then make an offer you’re comfortable making. It’s not guaranteed but it does work a lot.

I don't know about this necessarily being legal or not, but my mom used to work at [redacted] and the employees would go home with things all the time! Worst part, the managers/directors knew about it too, but simply didn't care lol. Like, I've heard SO many stories when I was younger. From people taking books home, to clothes...to extremely expensive iPhones. I've heard it all.

I think Naomi needs to do this again... BUT there HAS TO BE places similar to this in Germany or even all of Europe... The cost to send and ship is too much. Also if you get any electronics they will need adaptors to work.

The toast cat hat actually is a cat cone kind of thing, so cats cannot get to any stiches after a surgery! It's actually a very good one, since a standard cone usually makes the cat bang their head against pretty much everything. The soft plush gives them enough room to move normally still! :D

omg the last one you unpacked is a toy I used to have when I was a child! It comes with a bunch of different fashion templates and you can put them in different orders to make different outfits and then you put a piece of paper in it and rub pencil or charcoal to show the design. It's fun for kids haha I loved it.

I'm VERY late on this so I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but the "table" you got is actually 2 tablet/book desk stands! You can place them on a desk or table to help tilt the screen up to a more comfortable angle. The holes are for holding writing stationery or your tablet stylus! Been lurking for a month or so, so I'm new here, haha! Love your videos!
I think you misunderstood something Naomi. Amazon returns you can buy aren’t lost packages or not claimed packages. In most cases they are items order and returned by people. Because Amazon does not want to spend the money to check and repackage the products they sell them in bulk to companies. Those companies then offer them for auction. That’s the reason why most packages are open or some times are even broken. The companies pick out the most valuable items before putting together those packages you can bid on. I think the more expensive items are sold separately or in special packages.
I actually work at Amazon, and that’s mostly correct, but they do look over all returns and determine whether the items can still be sold as new.

that’s an absolutely insane rip off, especially given they were mostly second hand or broken goods. Their real world value would have been considerably lower than your estimates. But, at least it made for interesting viewing 🤩

Hey babe, the spray tops are universal. Find something similar in size/ingredients that are for its use, and pull off other bottle then put it on the one missing it 😘 just to save plastic. I learned that recently and face palmed. A lot of stuff got their caps removed while moving coast to coast in USA. 😅😅😅😅 love the effects and the business dance makes me die every time!!!! So the round floppy elastic cover is to be put on steering wheel. As far most of the stuff you pulled out and guess I would likely add $10-$15 . I have an unhealthy obsession with Amazon..in all fairness I don't have to leave the house which saves my anxiety and panic attacks..so win win .

Amazon is not really that common here. They've only recently started to crack down on local alternatives that we've had for years. It's only since 2021 that they are selling returned goods here at all. Definitely worth a shot.

Honestly, with bidding i usually just put the price I'm willing to pay the last 20-30 seconds. That way I don't raise the price gradually. Idk if it's just me, but that's what i found work for me.

I work at Amazon and I’m 95% sure these weren’t lost packages, but things that were actually returned to Amazon. When Amazon gets returns, they will resell the things that come back in “like new” condition with unopened packaging, etc. Things that can’t be sold as “new” they sell in lots like this. That’s why parts are missing. Also, it’s standard for clothes that are returned to be sprayed with fabreze or similar odors removers, which is why the shirt smells like someone wore it.
Then why am I always getting used stuff when I buy new things from Amazon? Costumes that smell like body odor, bodysuits with uh, juices where you don't want juices. Got a griddle coated with dried egg once, even

In the UK we have John Lewis, and you can buy palettes with returns. You can get really cool stuff like Dyson Air Wraps and coffee machines!
If you didn’t know what was in this box, how can you know if they didn’t steal anything valuable from it at the warehouse where the package was opened and throughly checked?

I have seen multiple videos like this, and usually the box had a theme. So you could bid a box with certain themes (avoiding baby stuff). Also some had some items inside listed. This is the worst box I have ever seen.

That last item was a rubbing plate set! You place a piece of paper over top the design and rub a crayon or charcoal on it to reveal the drawing! Rub the long side of the crayon though, like smearing a rolling pin without letting it roll over. 🙂 childhood right there. Loved making dresses and outfits with that.

that cat thing is actually pretty useful. cats hate the plastic cone they have to wear if they have surgery or something. the toast pillow acts to replaces the plastic cone. its more comfy and doesnt obscure their vision as much. everything else in the box though...

It's crazy that you always have to pay sooo much in shipping. Im also shocked and a lil disappointed that most of the items in the box had missing pieces or were just broken. In my opinion, this box should have been donated or had a max cap of $150... Because this box was a rip off. Love you💚

Next time you bid, try to sit on it until juuuuust before time runs out and swoop in with bid like £10-15 higher than the current one. That way you don't push the price up and up so much throughout the auction. Almost certain the good stuff was stolen at the warehouse. These things come with a manifest so if you don't have it on hand request one from the company you purchased the box from.

That big plug that locks is for like factory type machinery. At least in my experience. I used to work in a production plant and those plugs were what was used to plug in everything, it twists a big and locks into place so the machine doesn’t come unplugged.
The cats can use the dog stairs as well. I had to purchase a couple sets of pet stairs for my cat when he got old and it was too difficult for him to get on and off the bed but he still insisted on it anyway.

twist-lock power plugs are most commonly used in commercial settings. they can’t be accidentally pulled from the wall, and having a different plug also prevents people from plugging a high current device into a regular outlet by accident.
Yeah, we use them in commercial kitchens sometimes with the coolers & freezers so they don't get unplugged by mistake, since that's a giant disaster waiting to happen!

Also, I'm sure others have already said this one, but the 3-ring paper binder is the standard type used in the US. Our go-to lined paper is 8.5"×11" (A4 is close but not quite) & has 3 holes pre-punched.
