I never understood the "real" vs "fake" thing. If it looks super similar to the original and the quality doesnt suck, i feel like it doesnt matter. Especially because people mark up prices so much just because they have a "brand" when the quality of the original product doesnt necessitate that price since they're still made in sweatshops
As designer brands have legal rights to their items even if a fake is better quality creating a fake is a federal crime. So is buying and owning a fake. There’s also scammers out there, if your buying a product expecting the real deal and they send you a fake you lose that money as if you attempt to resell no one buys it.
it may not matter to you but if people are reselling i think that’s when it matters i’ve seen people sell fakes claiming they are real. they convince resellers they are getting a good deal so they can make money then sell them a fake they are unable to resell causing loss of profit. also i have worked with this kind of stuff and just because it looks like the same quality doesn’t mean it will hold up. usually the name brands use more durable materials that will last you longer. but i don’t understand the hype of spending that much on ‘designer’

It’s more of a collection thing over wearable, hence why sometimes designer clothing is made of shitty materials. They aren’t really thinking you’ll wear it plus maximum profit off the item. That’s also why some designer brands burn stock that’s not sold, to make the items at hand more valuable.

Just a warning. The iPad may have a “Activation lock” on it. Basically means somebody once signed into it with their Apple ID and never logged out or turned off “find my iPad” on the device. If that’s the case the iPad would be entirely unusable (some people can jail break). You can check by logging in yourself. Then removing your account and restoring the device to factory settings. Or just give away as is haha
