Agreed. Even reading that there was an elastic back strap to hold the bust up, I wouldn't assume it was backless. It needed to say backless. I would think they were saying it was a feature built into the dress to ensure you could lean forward without your boobs showing.

I’ve had a similar experience with that’s sew Maisie, so not just you! I ordered a dress from them for my 30th birthday which was in the April and I ordered the dress in January..same thing they kept saying they were sending and didn’t and when I finally received it 2 DAYS BEFORE MY PARTY..it was a sh*te show..badly sewn and covered in cat or dog hair..it smelt so musty too 🙃

Naomi, do you ever reach out to customer service about these things? I would love an update video of your experiences with the customer service of any dresses that had issues or had to be returned etc. it would really help us choose how to spend our money and could be super interesting with your special touch ❤
For dresses that you're worried about nip slips happening or just wanting to keep things in place, you could always try fashion tape. It's a specific type of tape that is skin safe and you stick it onto your clothes and it'll hold it in place where you want it to stay. I sometimes use it for when I wear thigh socks to help keep them up in place (thicc thigh gang) 😂

Maybe Vincent can fix the second dress. Shouldn't be that hard for him to cut the straps and sew them together again but in the length you need them to be. And even if they're not the prettiest stitches, the bows on top will hide that well I think.

The second dress should be easily adjustable if you want to keep it! Cut off the bows (like the one that came off, but save the button), then shorten the straps, sew the buttons back on and reattach the bows!

The dress with the bows on the shoulder can be taken in really easily! You can do it yourself if you have a little sewing kit. Just cut like an inch or however much you need it to be tighter and then stitch wrong sides together and it will be good as new!!!! Even if you don't stitch it perfectly straight, you have the bows to kind of conceal the area 👍🏾
Yeah but for 50 euro it shouln't come broken and the atraps would be big for anyone.
She doesn't even need to cut, she could just fold over the excess material and stitch it down I think, if it's not to much it shouldn't be uncomfortable (and the bows would distract the eye)

I have an Etsy shop for my cross-stitch patterns and have them all on Pinterest linked to my shop. There are definitely legit small businesses using Pinterest to find customers but it’s definitely just as much of a mine field as shipping from ads on social media platforms like Instagram and tik tok. I think with due diligence you could find some amazing pieces but I will admit, the fails and your sacrifice to bring them to us, is entertaining😅

To fix the Renaissance dress: Have a seamstress/tailor take a small section out of each shoulder strap at the top, and reattach the buttons securely so that the bows can hide the seams on top of each shoulder strap.

I do want to add that Aliexpress/ Alibaba (the wholesale counterpart) are actually NOT dropshipping websites. They're usually retailers (or ones who make cheap copies, it is what it is) because some sellers on there will actually have disclaimers whether or not they are open to dropshipping partners / ppl who just want to do that.

In my opinion the pink dress was a disaster. It shouldn't have taken that long. You shouldn't have had to chase them down on social media to get your product. It's missing the bow. It wasn't sewn properly. And it does not appear to be the same shade of pink that was shown on the website. It's not horrible but it's not finished, missing pieces, and not as described. I would contact them for a refund. At the very least a partial refund. Perhaps they should use some of the money to seek treatment for ADHD because they don't seem to be able to stay on task long enough to complete anything. 🤦

And then you blend in the concert and my brain goes like "Oh, Ateez, not 80s.... Makes sense!"
You could probably take in the straps on the cherub dress. It was super cute and fit really well with the exception of the straps. Just gotta take off an inch and reconnect the strap, sew it back together and hide that seam underneath the bows!
