Fantastic lesson, essential!
Thanks so much man !
You're an uncredibly inspirational player and a great teacher, Rob, I love it.
Dear Mr Harris, your way of teaching coupled with your extensive experience is the most invaluable masterclass I have found online.
Your 'Rob Harris Masterclass - The Secrets of Jamiroquai' video, shot in Spain and posted on the 'Fanatic Guitars' channel has freed me from the constrains of western structured music and allowed me to progress leaps and bounds in just a few weeks into the world of funk guitarring and songwriting.
I cannot thank you enough, for your life journey and musical wizdom has enriched mine immensely, and I will forever credit you as the musician that has had a profound influence in my guitar playing skills... as well as Prince.
Hi Rob. I normally tend to play rock and metal but you inspire me to learn funk rhythm. Cheers.
Great teacher and great player
Big fan of licks 1 and 4, thanks!
Incredible channel, a wealth of knowledge
The king of groove 😎 👌
Magic Rob, loving your great lines and ideas. Thank you, what a great way to make guitar playing fun!

Thank you for taking the time to do the lesson for us! It is really amazing we get to have the lessons from the pro :)
I would really like to see your approach to ear training and your music theory 101 in some of your next lessons.
Great video! love that Suhr too!
Bringing the funk. Awesome
Guitar God!!! Just great to listen to, such grooves 😎🙏🏻
Great stuff Rob, thanks for your great explanations! I still remember your master class in Justin’s workshop a few years ago which lit up a few lightbulbs for me! 👍

Great Stuff. Rerally good explained. Thanks a lot.You are the Funkateer Gitarrist No.1
Highly effective, usable moves, well explained.
It is one of the most helpful videos I've ever watched. You explain very well, thanks a lot for these funky licks : )
I really like this kind of contents!!! So inspiring!!! Thanks a lot!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good and informative. Getting proper funk technique down is hard at first. Your lessons explain them well. Thanks.
Man these were really fun to play & easy to digest in small sections. Thanks so much!
You are most welcome.
Nice concise, syncopated funk licks. Good call & response phrasing too...
Yes! Many thanks for this great lesson. Great licks, great teaching!
Thanks Arnaud. You’re welcome
this is perfect for starting funk guitar !
Just bought telecaster and this video is a true gift! Great play and teaching mate!!
Great lesson 👍, really helpful,
Rob, could you show (maybe you already have), how you keep the right hand strumming but are only picking out notes, thanks 👍
Great video master... thank you for sharing !!! Awesome ideas !!
You’re most welcome. Thanks for the message.
For sure would love the backing tracks or drum beats to practice these. Man, they are funk-Y
Rob , muito obrigado por compartilhar seu conhecimento conosco, é inspirador ver você tocar e ensinar cada fundamento da música para nós. Valeu Grande Abraço.

Thank you kindly!
Thank you very much. I like your groove !!!
Thank you too!
Hey Rob thanks for sharing and this huge work. I would be so happy to have the backing tracks to practice since I play your guitar parts in my band 😊
Thanks Rob, great licks for the repetoire. I loved your Love Foolosophy lesson. Would love to get a lesson on the lead break you did in that song.
thanks Rob
nice and good fun
Hey Rob, fantastic stuff, thankyou.
A few years late, but if possible I'd love the backing tracks,
Thanks.
thanks Rob I remember you in Paris on stage (rock dust like star tour) with your classy leather jacket and that awesome thinline Tele .... soon after this, I bought a leather jacket and a 73 natural tele :D thanks for the inspiration . all the best
Thank you!
Man you have skills!
Nice! Than you so much
Top job...., the first riff reminds me of Powerstation 'some like it hot' but no surprise really as this is a funk guitar video and Andy Taylor was a master at the funk/ rock guitar crossover.
It’s great that you don’t try to bamboozle us with music theory, just telling it as it is 👍🏻
Thanks for your message, i don't tend to think in terms of theory to be honest. I tend to concentrate on the feel of things.
@@RobHarrisGuitar You always have great tone that adds to the funkiness 👍🏻
What’s the chance that you could do a ‘Soup for One’ Chic, ‘Lady’ Modjo Tutorial 🤞🏻
Thanks this really helps
You're welcome
Just found your channel Rob, awesome tutorial, hope you and the family are well (Melodys dad)
hi Rob, thank you for the great lessons. if you're still offering, i'd greatly appreciate the backing track.
Great licks Rob - really enjoyed jamming along to them. Annoyingly no matter what I do, my thumb (👍) just will not wrap around to mute the bass strings, so I have to relay on finger tips and to be "accurate" with my right hand.
Very nice. Remember me Ross Bolton's teaching dvd. Thanks a lot.
Hey Jog. I had a Ross Bolton lesson on cassette (yeah, i'm that old) that my guitar teacher gave me. I must have worn that thing out. He had some gems on there.
Hi Rob, really enjoying all your videos. Great stuff. If you're still offering backing tracks to jam to that would be appreciated. Cheers, Mike
Love jamiroquai. Must admit though, when I saw the thumbnail I though pep guardiola was about to teach me some chords
Hey Rob great content. Thanks for uploading your knowledge. I am playing one of jamiroquai songs in my ensemble whatever it is, I just can't stop it. Can you please make a video explaining what's happening in the song?
Hi Rob!!! Cheers
Hey Rob!!😉🔝
Kool
Amazing that we can learn with a pro that does straight-to-the point videos!
Would love to buy the backing tracks/drum loops you use in your videos.
Let me/us know when/where to get them :)
Hi Rob, these are awesome, yes, I'd love the backing tracks to jam along to, if it's cool. Cheers from down under, Melbourne Australia.
Hey Marcus. Drop me your email address and i'll Wetransfer them over
@@RobHarrisGuitar Awesome, thanks Rob. My email is marcuskurbanguitar@hotmail.com
Rob can you do that funky piece you did at beginning of the captain interview i love it trying to do it
Hi Rob - thanks for this. Do you still have the backing tracks ?! Awesome stuff
What makes you prefer the Suhr over the Fender? Great lesson, btw.
loving your videos! BTW you forgot an edit at 15:00 😅😉
Hah. Thanks for the heads up Paolo. Still getting to grips with this video thing. 😅
a solid lesson on triads would be awesome
awesome licks Rob ! Could you please share a backing track or two in the video description via Gdrive or something or email maybe ? thanks for the lesson anyway .
Will Wetransfer them over
@@RobHarrisGuitar I got the Files , thanks a lot , so proud to get backing from a master as you , i am a big fan of your playing . Thanks again
Thanks Rob. BTW what drum software are you using ?
I just used some Nate Smith drum loops. Really useful
@@RobHarrisGuitar That sound pack is absolutely awesome. Thanks !
I don't think people realize how difficult your rhythmic feeling and precision is to recreate. More guitarist should see this.
Great content just need some graphics to illustrate it out.
I don't get why we play around a B major chord in the 5th lick, can someone explain it to me?
Hi Rob, can you send me the baching tracks to play along? Tank you so much!
lesson with out timmming is not a lesson😢
