What I’ve realised after switching from android to iPhone after buying my 15 Pro Max, is that on android, you change the phone to adapt it into your life. Where with iPhones you change the way you use your phone to use it how Apple intends you to, I really don’t like that, I would like more options on iOS!

no, there are just people that care about different things than you. i was a life long android user and apple hater, i switched and although as with every tech, it has its flaws, notifications isnt one of them. and btw, if someone is 100% on one side of a conflict like this, he is just as fooled as the exact opposite, it just depends on what you care about and what flaws you can adapt to, as all devices have some

Im the only one that left the apple ecosystem at a younger age. I already had the common sense when i was in high school. I was born in a time where if u had an iphone u were popular in school, but as years went by, it all changed to competition and ppl arguing android vs apple.
I love android personally bc of the ecosystem, it represents inclusiveness bc it has different brands but made on the same operating system, and it just feels like a pc in the palm in your hands since developer mode takes your experience to a whole new level, also the EASTER EGG of checking your update version is so fun to mess with, and finally every app is so much easier to log in to since you can login with a google account and you can choose which one if you have more than one.
I believe that android users represent the future gen of flip phones back in the day since we use the same brands that made all the flip phones.
I have used an lg lotus flip phone, motorola droid razr m, iphone 4, lg stylo 2, lg v10, iphone 7, iphone se, oneplus 6t, and finally google pixel 7. I bough a samsung galaxy fold 4 and am getting it delivered today which im excited about.
I will always love android bc android is the most innovative and gets me more excited about technology as a whole than apple ever will.
I just hate how strict apple services and or the experience is, and overpriced 😔

As to phones, is best to get an unlockable Pixel phone and install the security/privacy focused (and de-googled) GrapheneOS.
The phone is THE primary device for spying via data collection and location tracking - neither Apple or Google can be trusted.
The Graphene web installer works pretty well, but stick with a Windows or Mac computer to install from, alas there are isdues with trying to install from a Linux PC - and the command line installer is just as problematic. Sad that that's the case, but Graphene folks probably stretched thin so they concentrate on where the majority of users will install from. It was flawless from the spouse's MacOS computer usung Brave browser with ad blocker temporarily disabled - best to use a browser based on Chromium. The only thing that it has that I liked was spotlight search. On Android you have to be in the settings app to search settings, you have to be in the contacts app to search contacts, you have to be in the app drawer to search for apps. I loved the iPhone search feature it searches everything in one spot. It’s easier to navigate in that way. My Android phone is 5 years old so not sure if Android fixed that. But really liking the iPhone in that regard. Besides that I noticed to most things on iPhone either took more clicks then any did on Android or the simple features like how much time tell the phone is charged are completely missing all together. Not only that I noticed a lot of things being backwards. Instead of swiping left in internet, you have to swipe right. Instead of swipping up you swipe down for search. Heck the address bar is on the bottom instead of the top on iPhone. So many things are opposite is insane. It threw me off.
So after going through all that the hype didn’t deliver at all. I don’t understand how iPhone users say it’s so much easier to use or that it’s faster, or that it’s a better experience. The differences are very settle and not deal breakers either way. And overall the iPhone didn’t deliver at all with all the claims. I have to think these people that think Android is way worse then iPhone are comparing it to the Android of 10 years ago and have no clue what modern Android is like.

No you don't... Did you even searched on Android if you could do that? I don't think you realize how you can do literally anything on Android, precisely because it's open (source).
On any Android, you can install launchers (another concept that blows any iPhone users considering how much they can't customize their OS appearance) and install modules (for those which don't natively integrate one but allows you to from a third party) that will be able to do and look for pretty much anything on your phone, whether it's apps, contacts, messages, files on your phone, calculation or conversions, internet searches and even do specific actions in apps that do support it, like Maps to look for a place (and I probably missed some functionalities).
There is nothing an iPhone can do that any Android phone can't do or can't replicate with a third party app, absolutely nothing.

Sometimes it's a right gesture from the left side, sometimes it's up gesture from the bottom (eg.photos app when seeing a photo) and sometimes neither, you have to use the physical back arrow button on the top left corner, which is the furthest point to a right handed person (most).

I have been more of an android user for several years. When I got onto the iPhone I immediately noticed the difference! That promotion screen is so AWESOME! SMOOTH like butter! 😅 The largest difference I noticed is the customization of Android! OMG I didn't realize how much I was being spoiled with that until I got onto iOS!
iOS also lacks a copy and paste clipboard like Android! Google Pixel 8 pro clipboard is so awesome and I love it!
iPhone keyboard is TRASH! So I even use Google keyboard on my iPhone lol. Yes, that is possible and I was so surprised when I saw that in a RUclips video so I switched to that asap!
In the end, I love both iPhone and my Google Pixel 8 pro. Last night before going to bed I realized that my iPhone 13 pro max feels like it's a physically better quality than my Google Pixel 8 pro. The pixel 8 feels cheaper than my iPhone 13 pro max. Hmm..

The deciding factor for me was the fact that every time I went back to apple it always made me miss android after like a month of having an iPhone. Everything you mentioned in the video are the reasons why. I realized that no matter how much apple puts in their eco system it’s just not enough for me to care lol. I had the S24 ultra and returned it due to fingerprint sensor issues. I replaced it with an iPhone 15 pro max and honestly I'm thinking really serious about switching back. The camera on the 24 Ultra was just far superior to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The camera on the 24 Ultra also reduced a function for me by allowing me to watermark the date and my name on the photos natively. I can do this on the iPhone, but it requires a 3rd party app. I did have a screen protector on the 24 Ultra and I'm wondering how much that affected the functionality of the fingerprint sensor.

      @@thegermantechgirl 😅 feel free to use it. I daily use a 13 Pro and a Nothing Phone(1).
My 13 Pro works well, no issues at all but honestly, outside of cameras ( flagship cameras on 13 Pro) on daily use, i enjoy more NP1: things are just more practical, direct, simple.
      Good video by the way👏🏿👏🏿

everything you listed as far as file system and features were just introduced and samsung was the only android with copy clipboard , been using android since 2.1 and ios since ios 4 they’ve both evolved but ios is more simplistic , it’s so many “ versions “ of android most features are embedded and hard to find , but when people talk android ios they are always and almost always referring to samsung and ios , not motorola , LG - r.i.p , Oppo etc

i own both S24U (personal phone) and 15PM (work phone given by my company). i'm running 10gbps internet connection at home so i tested both connection speed and the results are night and day : 15pm 70-80mbps , S24U 1.3-1.5gbps. To confirm even further i use both my nephews 15PM and the results are the same. Even on cellular connection i get better bars reception on the S24U compared to the 15PM. Very weird..

Me, I'm still using my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and I've always preferred Samsung over Apple because for me, Android seems to be more easier and more convenient to use than iOS. Also my S21 Ultra has more RAM than even the top tier iPhone 15 Pro Max with my S21 Ultra having 16 GB of RAM compared to only 8 GB of RAM on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Agree with all you say but you didn't mention a few features I use daily on Android that aren't available on any iphone! 1. Split screen view 2. Scroll capture 3. Secure Folder 4. Extend lock [used to be called Trusted Devices]. 5. The flip out side panel. 6. Air command with the S pen..... I could go on.... !

I switched to iPhone 13Max 2 years ago. All of your points here are so true. I’m still frustrated by the iOS notification system and the lack of separation for volumes. I’m considering switching back to an android phone, but I still love the smooth integration with my macbook pro because I don’t like windows OS.

I bought the Iphone 13 Pro in 2021..... because I wanted the Iphone Experience as I had been a lifelong Android User.
The amount of headaches this phone has given me is wild. I have a macbook pro and that's the only reason I still have to use this, unwillingly. I would switch back again to another device sometime in the future and never look back!

I wanted a new small phone, so waited for the small s24. But two things holding me back, exynos and slow charging. So my question is, are there any 6-6,2 inch flagship androids with Snapdragon and fast charging? Like 60+ watt?

    • @techzolute
      @techzolute 8 месяцев назад +2

Xiaomi 14 is there for you. Others are available too.
I'd advise you go ahead with the S24. That 25 watts charging is still fast.
And it has the best battery among entry level flagships, even beating the battery in iPhone 15 by a mile.

I truly don't understand why people say iPhones are more user friendly. Android is more customizable and yes, that requires a bit of time to get used to, but if you are using the phone right out the box, it is so easy to use. Android is simply better and I don't like that iPhone sales keep going up

after having both operating systems, I would say Android is more intuitive and simpler than iOS. Both are great operating systems but iOS needs to introduce more features and fix the notification system and the ability to get into app settings from within the app itself like Android, as well as the awful lack of AI on iPhone, as well as the lack of auto transcription on iPhone. IPhone is good it just is sorely lacking features and quality of life features that Android already has.
