As an Android hard fan who owns a pixel. The only thing I like about iphones is the video and their materials. Recording video on an iphone is amazing, zoom doesn't mess up the colors or get those snappy cuts when switching lenses or zooming in/out

Never used an iPhone, but I will say I love the screens, the simplicity and neatness. Last apple products I used was an IPod and IPad back in 2011 or 12. I only used them for communication 😅 I can't really see myself switching, however, I wouldn't mind having both IOS and Android just for sh*ts and giggles

I was rocking a iphone 12. I had an upgrade so I went to the store to check out the new Iphone 16 pro max. It looked the same as my Iphone 12 , besides just being bigger and having a few new features that I didn't care about. So, I went with a Samsung S24 Ultra. I love this phone. I'm so glad I got it.
Android user for the past 7 years here. Always had a great experience with mid high devices, my last one was a Redmi Note 10 Pro that was already at 3,5 years of use. I started looking for something else when the battery and processing started to give in. Made the plunge and am using the 16 Pro Max now. I can say there are a lot of things that Apple manages to do with little to no effort, that really smoothes the experience. I'm enjoying the switch but I can only say it took for me to get the best apple has to offer hardware wise to convince me to jump the fence. There is 1 clear thing I think Apple does excel over the rest and it is the video camera and shared content, it's just much better. Can't wait for January to see the latest Samsung has to offer, great vid thanks for sharing your experience!!!
I had many pixel phones and Samsung too and I just moved to the iPhone 16 Pro. I really love iOS. It’s very fun to use and everything it does, It does it better than android. You know it’s gonna work. Some features are missing, but these are features I didn’t use a lot.

Last 4 galaxy ultras are pretty much the same phones with minor changes. This isn't an apple problem, it's a smartphone problem. I just tried to simulate how it feels to side scroll if I had a button on that place and yeah it makes sense but even then power button is better for scroll/doomscroll. That button placement is very low , high chance of drop phone . That's one more idea to hook people into social media but a clever one , might try one for GSM arena and Pexels , if a customizable power button with fingerprint scanner/touch sense comes.
What I think will happen is that phones manufacturers will probably skip a year or two before releasing a new phone , I guess that is why they are also increasing the years of software support.

Just traded in my S24 ultra for the 16 Pro Max and I’m loving it so far. The last iPhone I had was the iPhone 8 and so much has been adapted from android to iPhone since then. I think the biggest reason for me switching is the social dynamic and just getting bored of samsung.
Do they make that same exact case for android phones? Maybe 5% of my iOS friends are using RCS. Either they haven't updated to ios 18 or their carrier doesn't have it... It's annoying.

Imagine u need to scroll a list and calculate the amount on the list at the same time. Being able to simultaneously see the apps on the same screen is way more convenient, and I wouldn't lose track of the numbers.
Maybe they are moving toward button less iphone with pressure sensative side by judging how camera control work without much pressure and ios animation when you press button.

No point in having moveable icons if the app drawer / library isn't intuitively accessible. Android's swipe up app drawer is far more convenient than Apple's unworkable version.
The difference is imagine the difference between all your clothes are ready to pick from v.s. Your clothes inside the drawer . Iphone is easy and more customizable than before

That's my only temptation with iPhones. ProRes Log and smooth transitions between the lenses.

When you customised the icon you can keep the screen light if you press the , that brightness button in the customisation menu.the top left.
