The S24 series is the king of Smartphones, Google it and even Google put the S24 series as the overal top 1 best phone and, Samsung ecosystem is better because everything in your house can be bought from samsung and can be connected even your Samsung Toaster can take 200mp photos and your Samsung Refrigerator can talk and take a screenshot , Samsung is the better choice
This whole 'communication issue' people talk abkut only seems an issue in America. Everyone else uses Whatsapp and Google services. I switched from 15 years of iphone to the S24 ultra with absolutely ZERO issues whatsoever! Its a non issue
It really is only an issue here in North America, Canada and US are pretty bad for relying on iMessage. Whatsapp is really only used in the workforce, along with telegram and signal - and people seem to associate them with work, and not use them for their communication.
Quick story... Thanksgiving 2023, many of my family and friends were walking around with their iPhones out and waving them around. When it came time to take a group photo, I set my S23 Ultra on a tripod, checked the focus and joined my family. My sister said she would take the photo because she had the newest iPhone. She placed it on her stand, aimed it and ran to the group. After 3 failed attempts, I told them not to worry, I had multiple photos. They said, No you don't! You've been standing here the whole time. I grabbed my phone and showed everyone the incredible photos. They asked in amazement, How did you do that? I took the s-pen out of my pocket and said, I don't use an iPhone! I could hear their bubbles popping all over the room.
@@internationalplayboy8685 lmfao you're an npc that's for sure. You use iPhone because you care what others think of you? Why can't you use iPhone because it's your own individual choice?
The whole blue bubble green bubble thing was never an issue in Europe, because almost everyone used WhatsApp from the start. In the early days there was even WhatsApp for blackberry and Symbian phones. And of course Windows phones. When people later switched to Android or iOS, it was a no brainer to keep using WhatsApp.
Pretty sure you're gonna dump this phone for the flip/fold when that's out & dump that for the iPhone when that comes out, hard to trust reviewers these days when they hold onto a phone for only a few months
@@brent3522 well duh bro not everyone buys a new device every 4 months even with all the money in the world, it's just nonsensical, unless you want your data all over the place, fck that
@@brent3522 it really isn't this deep, and I get this comment across any video I make. I tried the oneplus 12, and I came back to the S24 Ultra. It's been the only phone I've really enjoyed in the last little while, I like it a lot. This one is different. Yes, I'll cover the latest iPhone, or whatever, but I wouldn't be putting my sim in it this time - not until Apple really decides to make a change in iOS.
I grabbed the s24 after being on iphone since the 4s and its been such a blast. A huge breath of fresh air. I still love apple products but this takes me back to the middle school/high school days when android was in it's infancy.
Hey there, so i have been an iPhone user since iPhone 6 when they went to the bigger phones. Thank you for making my decision easier to switch to the S24 Ultra. Been doing research and I honestly got board with IPhone, plus I like the style of the S24 ultra over the boring iPhone. I have an Apple Watch and a iPad M1 Pro 11inch as well. Keeping everything . I will be switching in the next couple of weeks. Excited!. Thanks again for your vids. Much appreciated
The S24 ultra is awesome, I actually have it, but you already have an Apple ecosystem, and Apple makes the compatibility of their products with other phones kind of bad, so you should check on that. Rather if you want to keep the ecosystem working altogether smooth and nicely, or you introduce the new amazing and capable phone and have some trouble with the compatibility, its gonna be a good choice.
I bought an S24 model because it has so much more to offer than an iPhone according to the know-it-alls on RUclips. And after two weeks I was already tired of the phone. A phone is a phone, and with a phone you call, text or take photos every now and then. I prefer a smooth and pleasant way of working with a good connection to Apple products, than having to fuss with a 3rd party app every time on Android devices. The connections are not optimal at all on Android.. But you will figure this out after a few weeks..
@@Tha-King-Arthur "the connections are not optimal at all..." You're gonna have to explain that one. And what third party apps do you have to fuss with every time on Android?
I have the iPhone 14 Pro and S23 Ultra. You will get a mix of love and hate with the S series and OS. The options and functionality are great, but the bugs will be annoying which is something the Samsung Knights won't convey to you, since they hate Apple so much. Too many times I have my S23U and I experience bugs and I just have to switch back to my 14 Pro. The iPhone just works for me but yes, boring as hell. Bugs: Opaque screen overlay out of nowhere and I can barely see my home screen until I click on a folder to see my apps. Multitasking window pops up out of nowhere but it's just the bar with the arrow and ellipsis. Moving to Android 14 caused my entire phone to reset to factory settings. These things are frustrating to me but when these are not occurring, beautiful phone! I do have a few bugs on my iPhone but nothing major. Hope you enjoy your S24 Ultra, glad you had the power to move away from Apple and their method of staying stale.
@@robinfaigmane10 I mean my personal s24 ultra has some scuffing that’s the one thing that sounds stupid but I baby my phones and it has scuffs like not even sure how it happened never dropped so I guess I miss durability. Other than that just the social media aspect is worse on android just how it all syncs. Basically the optimization
@@Zommmbies I see. these are very helpful feedback. I am more of a social media person, so I value having smooth social media apps on my phone. does the S24 provide that?
After several months "why I switched back to iPhone 15 promax. After that "long time apple user switches to Galaxy S24 Ultra". After a month, "Galaxy user switched to iPhone 16promax. After couple of months, "long time IP16Promax user switched to Galaxy s25 Ultra.
I@@TheSpiritOfTheWest the same could be said about you lol. If it was the opposite, you would call him sheep now. Whereas you are not leas than an apple sheep aka ANDROID SHEEP
@@Tha-King-Arthur can apple fanboys stop being stupid for one second? Get some reading comprehension my dude, the "glad you're not a sheep" comment was refering to the fact that this type of content is clickbait, how he will keep switching between iphone and android every couple of months to get as many views as possible. How when the iphone 16 releases he will have a video up like "S24 Ultra users switches to iphone 16 pro max" and then "Iphone 16 pro max users switches to s25 Ultra". That's what the comment meant, because there's a lot of "sheep" (as in dumb people) here that will not realize this is clickbait and he will keep switching back and forth for views. Nobody called anyone a sheep for simply liking Apple products, but oh well if the shoe fits...
I"ve been going between iPhone and Android for several years now. They have always been fairly equal as far as I am concerned but now it's different. A few months ago I replaced my iPhone 12 Pro Max with the S24 Ultra instead of an iPhone 15 and I have really been enjoying it. I have one foot in each world - I have a Mac as my desktop PC, a Windows machine for gaming, my S24U for my phone, and an iPad for tablet stuff, and everything works perfectly well together. I got my wife and kids to switch to WhatsApp for messaging and they love it. Honestly I wish we had done it sooner. Google photos replaces iPhoto, NearDrop and Snapdrop replace AirDrop, and all is well in the world. The only thing I am missing is that my Apple Watch will not work with Android but that's it. I think I'll be sticking with Android for the forseeable future.
I’ve experienced the same issues regarding cell signal. My former S21+ got a better signal and better service than my IPhone 15 Pro. Same carrier. Appreciate the video!
I’ve tried Android a few times over the years, and like you I would end up back on iOS simply because it felt comfortable. I’m keen to give the S24 Ultra a go, and looking at things I’d need to do switching today, there’s no show stoppers. iMessage I’d get by without, mostly using messenger or Signal anyway. Never use FaceTime, and barely switch between phone and MacBook, so won’t miss those either. Main thing holding me back right now (besides cash) is my Apple Watch Ultra. Great bit of kit.
6:09 what are the point of sales terminals like in (I think you said) Canada? Here (UK), every POS terminal seems to support contactless debit cards and therefore supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. It's possible all three of those payment methods work on the exact same technology. It's everywhere, buses, shops, the rail network etc
Ppl make it a lot more complicated than it really is to switch between ecosystems. Yes the backup process can be tedious and the worst part is having to actually set it up and log in to your apps. The rest is pretty straight forward like figuring out couple menus and gestures.
Honestly, now that everything I have is backed up to 3rd party services it makes it so easy to move to and from. One thing people overlook when sticking themselves into any ecosystem.
I'm about to get the s24 ultra this up coming Friday and I'm excited I'm switching from an iPhone 13 pro I am a little nervous but excited to try something new
I think once RCS is incorporated with iPhone/android, really won’t be much difference with each OS then and more people with be leaving iPhone for android. I’m primarily an iPhone user. Being able to send high quality videos/pictures to and from iPhone/android will be a game changer for android.
Resale value sucks on anything non apple but I do love that there is actual innovation with android. 90% of people are only with apple because everyone they personally know is. The build quality was one of the only reason I stuck with apple but now that the ultras are made of good quality materials and updates are extended there is no point to stick with apple for me personally.
There is a minority of smartphone users who are "power users" like yourself. For them, Android may indeed be a superior tool. However, the vast majority of smartphone users are "casual users" like myself. The differences between Android and iPhone are no big deal. I was a OnePlus One user for 9 years until the phone died. Then I decided to give the iPhone 15 a shot, just because. I've not had any significant issues with the switch. At the end of the day for casual users, both Android and iPhone provide very similar basic functionality and capabilities. Messaging. Photography. Internet browsing. Apps. Casual users don't spend a lot of effort at customisation. Casual users don't spend a lot of time editing on their phones. Either Android or iPhone will be fine with them.
Exactly. I just simply don't care. iPhone has always worked for me. I had a Windows phone when those were a thing and it was terrible. A complete failure. So I went back to iPhone and it does everything I need it to do. The thing that keeps me buying iPhones is the support. Software and security updates, which Android is very hit or miss on.
I'm also from Canada and use a Samsung and work at Best Buy, a lot of my coworkers use Samsung and most of the tech savvy customers are Android users, also Google pay works better than Samsung pay here never had any issues with Google pay in Edmonton at least
Great video. One major issue I'm having with thr s24 is in the need prius. The audio gets paused when playing a RUclips video or any non AA app. It's insanely terrible and enough to make me want to send it back. The error is "audio paused. Volume will not be adjusted." I googled it. Been an issue for a year with no fix. People should know about this.
I've never used an iPhone and I always wondered why everyone was always talking about how they couldn't live without Airdrop. In the Android ecosystem, I couldn't understand why it was needed or couldn't think of a scenario where I would need it. But after hearing your explanation with Google photos and not needing Airdrop, it makes a lot more sense why you would need it on an iPhone. On Android, everything is available in the cloud, instantaneously. Android does have it's own version with Quickshare and it is nice to have, if needed. I just don't see that many reasons I would need it.
Honestly seen this video on my home recs for a few days and been skipping for no reason in particular. Upon watching it. This was a terrific update/review. Keep it up. Subbed 😎
Interesting note for your Windows and Android setup: you can use VPN and RDP on your Samsung with/without DeX mode to remote-control your Windows PC from anywhere in the world! It opens the door to leaving any intensive task to the PC while on the go. Video editing from Paris? Yep. Build a Java environment from Brazil? Sure. Check your Satisfactory production on a plane? Why not!
Nice, informative video on the iPhone to Samsung switch! I’m considering it, even though I LOVE my Apple environment (macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS). I want to pull a full switch for a few months. I doubt it will be a full switch forever, but it will be a very interesting and educational, and . . . Who knows?! Move videos on this experience will be appreciated!
Try getting a Galaxy Tab, Watch and Buds, the Samsung ecosystem is very good and on par with Apple's rn, the new Galaxy Book is also a nice addition to Galaxy ecosystem
Love watching your videos in this woman was a great one as well. I'm about like you as far as iPhone and android. I'm still using my iPhone 13 pro Max and my Samsung s23 ultra. I carry around my 13 pm because a couple of my band members still using iMessage and don't want to use any other platform. The two phones I mentioned I bought new and both are holding up extremely well. Keep up the excellent work!
I am also planing to shift from Apple ecosystem to Samsung after 10 years. I have s24 ultra with me for last couple of days but I still to put my sim in it.
Watching from the UK hearing you say you're locked in to the iPhone, then hearing you mention iMessage and FaceTime made me think it's not that hard. Likely because nobody uses either here, or even uses video calling in general
hey man, glad you found the phone that works for you! I believe the most important thing is to be happy with your device and not regret your choices. cheers!
I've noticed a frustrating trend with Samsung devices where updates are subject to the whims of cell providers. As a fan of the Note lineup, it was disheartening to experience only two years of OS support with my Note 9, which was the final straw for me (improvements have been made since that time). In contrast, Apple's control over iOS updates means I don't have to deal with carrier approval or rollout delays. Updates are universally available for download, regardless of location, ensuring a seamless experience. While I acknowledge that Apple devices may lack some of the cutting-edge features found in Android devices, I appreciate their simplicity and ease of use.
I was an apple user for last 7+ years. Now have switched to S24U and I am pleasantly surprised. Apple somehow dumbs down the user and incremental benefit each passing year has been non-existent. I just love the S Pen.. take drawing lessons using the same.
There is no grainy screen.. They fixed or updated that stuff but it was never like that on min 0:01 e to begin with.. The screen is sooooo much better than iPhone imo.. Biggest reason I switched. I was jealous of all of these great screens. Samsung has while I had the iPhone for the last like 15 years.
Great video!! Interesting take that you have about messages over there in Canada. I’m form Brazil, and here most people have android and use WhatsApp. Even people that have iPhone (myself included, I’m using my first iPhone ever, the iPhone 14) don’t use iMessage. there’s just no reason to since everybody uses WhatsApp.
Not sure if was just the previous phones you had but with my Note 20 Ultra, I never had an issue with mobile payments. Actually the Note 20 Ultra was better in some ways because it had MST which was the older technology that allowed my Samsung Pay to work on older machines that didn't have NFC payment terminals. I shocked cashiers when they said we don't accept Apple pay. I tapped and it just worked.
I have and use both phones. My s24 Ultra is my primary though and I use my 13 Pro Max as my backup. It's really nice to have a different device than the other and have the advantages both ways. What I would like to see Apple provide is a music app that allows you to have hard copied music like Samsung offers on their devices and be able Smartswitch it over in an instant without having to use a PC. Samsung although provides IPhone their screens and I hope they both become more and more collaborative and compatible over their technologies. I believe till this day that the IPhone would be a whole lot different if Steve Jobs was still around. His strive to be innovative was relentless. This is where Samsung had taken over. Their strive to innovate is constant and I believe over time, these two companies will work more and more together.
Great video as always I especially like how you talk about if your not making money off of social media that the quality of your videos/ pictures are fine on Samsung because they are this is very informative for people who are wanting to make the switch but fear they maybe missing out.
I own both tge S24U (personal phone) and 15PM (work phone) and for whatever reason the 15PM cellular reception was bad cpmparing to the S24U. My home is running on 10gbps wifi connectiom with wifi 7 router and i even tested the wifi strength with three 15PM alongside my S24U, 15PM consistantly gets about 70-80mbps and my S24U gets about 1.4gbps or more. The difference is HUGE day and night. Not sure what's wrong with Apple device but yeah that's how it is..
I found your channel when looking for reviews on the S23 Ultra, and was disappointed when I saw you went to the 15 Pro Max. Then I thought about it, and remembered that I did the same for years, albeit in the early days of iPhone and Android. I’ve been stuck in the iOS world since 2013 and I’m…bored. Thanks for sharing!
I switched last year with the S23 Ultra and have zero regrets. I currently have the pixel 8 pro, OnePlus 12 and the S24 Ultra. They've kind of amassed over the past few months lol. I don't miss iMessage at all, WhatsApp is every bit as good
Very cleverly done. In this video, you’ve already laid down the groundwork for your switch back to the iPhone. Willing to bet good money on your going back to the iPhone.
Thank you for this review 😊. Originally I was a Samsung fan but switched to the iPhone due to better video and air drop when I started my RUclips channel. But Samsung (as many others) have come a long way since then. So I’m waiting on S25 Ultra!!! and about to return to android…. I have just subscribed and liked. I like your honest approach ….
It’s strange here in Scotland, despite Apple probably being the most popular, iMessage or FaceTime are rarely used, most people use WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. Again when I used Android I used Google Pay and not Samsung Pay, never had any issues with Google Pay whatsoever.
I don't see the need to upgrade just yet from the s22 ultra, it still performs great, battery could be better but can definitely stick it out until the s25
I waited and waited for price drop in 2022, so my contract runs out this July. The price should have dropped again for the S24 ultra, so I'll be going from S22 ultra to S24 ultra.
it took me 6 years switching back and forth. S24 is the first android phone that actually can perfrom better than the iphone..well except the HDR video recording. Great battery, Great camera, Decent speakers, beautiful display and clean operating system.
Does anyone else just watch vids in 1.25 or 1.5x speed because the person talks too slow or you save more time. And W vid. I always preferred android/samsung because of the features/customization.
I made the switch back to android after 9 yrs of iOS. Really loved the S24U, but caved & went back to iOS due to all of my family being on iOS. I still regret it to this day. While it’s real easy to stay & connect over iOS, I plan to fully switch soon to android. iOS just isn’t what it used to be
Idk if you knew this but you can have imessage through an apple called blue bubbles and people can send you links through the ft app. I switched to the z fold 5 after being a lifetime ios user and couldn't be happier because I didn't lose anything from switching
Switched from an iphone 12 to s24, its definitely taken a while to switch over, but Im glad i did it.. finding alternatives makes you really think about spending the extra money Apple charges, also for people that have kids with cell phones, androids are way cheaper. So when they lose them or break them whatever it doesnt hurt as much
@callmeNeno you people and "resale value!" These aren't cars! If you need to worry about "resale value" for a phone, you need a better job and work harder! 😂😂😂 Edit: Dump the 💉 and apply yourself!
I had apple my entire life also.. 15 years + I switched to the S24 Ultra And I love it. Obviously, it takes a bit of getting used to.. The only thing I needed to have on my new phone was Apple Music but you can get apple music on android so it all worked out.
Ugh, I love that phone. Only thing that hurts it for me is the performance in a lot of the games I play. If I wasn't a nerd that enjoyed gaming so much I think the Pixel is where I would stay.
I moved from being an iPhone user since day 1 to android, I got the S24 Ultra and it is a great phone packed with a lot of AI features, super customizable OS and fun to use. BTW, jumping from iOS to android is easy for most of us geeks, probably not that simple for the regular iphone user...
It seems that if it were not for Samsung Galaxy S24, no one would have even thought of moving from iOS to Android (one premium device to another rather than the operating system). I am yet to see a video genuinely comparing the operating systems rather than devices in true sense. Most of the issues usually discussed about are the ones from mainly from the US such as Apple Pay, Apple Wallet, Apple ecosystem, iMessage, Airdrop, etc., but honestly, don't we have widely used substitutes of these 'conveniences' already? We have Google Pay in India, WhatsApp, Shareit, and many other applications. I myself am an iPhone user for about 4 years, and looking for some real life practical reasons to shift to an Android phone...
Re: Mac OS: I had a iMac desktop that I used with an epson photo scanner to scan in over 5000 color slides and prints to disk. My iMac had an optical drive and it had a journaled hard drive which meant you weren’t likely h he ping to lose files unlike windows pc’s which just scattered them everywhere. After that, I had a MacBook Pro and now an M1 MacBook Air. What I really miss is a discontinued program called Aperture. It was a professional grade editing tool that had a GREAT file system. The only replacement was either photos or Adobe and I’ve never liked either as well.
2:32 here in Europe this whole Messaging/ iMessage thing was never a big one because after using SMS back in the days, the vast majority, over 90% of the people, switched to Whatsapp ( and Telegram ). No one of my friends and family, not a single person, uses „normal“ Messaging- but everyone uses Whatsapp. Thats, i think one of the cultural differences 😉. Btw, i am new to your channel, i like your videos, great work, keep going! Greetings from 🇩🇪 to 🇨🇦
After watching the iPhone 16 pro max reveal I’m switching to Samsung when the galaxy s25 ultra comes out in January. I’ve had the iPhone 4,5s,6 plus, 6s plus, XS max, 14 pro max, and I’m tired of them selling the same phone over and over again with a new price tag.
I switched to android last year with a Pixel 7 and I love it, but I do want to go back... mainly because I want to get a macbook air and those apple watches sure look nice. My favorite thing about switching to Android was the very noticeable amount of time I stopped using my phone. I abused the hell out of my iPhone 8 mainly with nonsense games, with android for some reason... none of that. Everything on my Pixel works just fine except for Bleacher Report. Its an app I use quite a bit while watching basketball games and getting into it with people in the live chat. It's horrible on Android. Everything else is fine. I love how clean it looks too... maybe I'll stay for a bit.
For me it’s a “no switch” to Samsung because of the agenda app on the iPhone. It works so extremely well if you both are on a iPhone. The Samsung is a great device, so don’t understand me wrong, but Google Agenda, in my oppinion, on an iPhone is not the way an agenda app should work. Stock agenda on an iPhone is simply great.
Yes you did a great job one of the reasons I've subscribed to you. You clearly explain the reason why you switched. Your not doing what I feel many tech RUclipsrs do. Heavily biased opinionated reviews. That makes for a good tech RUclips channel.
Awesome, clear, honest video.. I enjoyed your honest opinions I have been in between my self and im definitely switching but to a s24plus the ultra is a bit to big for my liking
I used Snapchat three years ago and decided to swap from iPhone to Samsung S21 ultra and I remember the experience with Snapchat being straight up terrible. Honestly, Instagram wasn't any better. I think the S21 was the year when Samsung said to begin developing social media apps but the experience wasn't there just yet. I wonder how would my experience be like now with S24 phones. I don't use Snapchat anymore and I barely use any social media apart from reddit and youtube.
using what works for you would be best and its great that you got out of the apple ecosystem.. i made the switch myself but from the note 20 ultra to the iphone 14 pro and i realized that android was a better deal for my work flow..im still adjusting to the iphone but i really wanna go back to android 😊
Surely a good review. I am an android user just recently use iPhone as my second phone. For me I use google services on both phone so everything will be sync with no problem. Just yesterday bought tab s9+ instead of iPad as I want to sync with my android phone & my laptop windows using link to windows feature. Admittedly I am using the iPhone just to wear watch ultra 😂😂😂
Hi there @ValisMind 👋 I just subscribed to your channel. Very good review, thank you for doing it. 👍 I have always been Android user. I am currently using OnePlus 10 Pro, even tho it is 2 years old phone now, it is still pretty good phone for me for every day use.
I know, I said that - but I also only really speak on behalf of the NA market. Lots of people in Asia are interested in Oppo, Huawei, and Xiaomi devices
I get that WhatsApp is standard most places, but asking NA iPhone users that have WhatsApp for work to use it in personal convo is akin to asking people to use Teams & Zoom outside of work lol
As a Samsung user who had an Iphone: Apple Pay is faster and all you have to do is double tap the power btn and face ID does the rest. It's just a simple double tap and its done (you're usually facing the phone while doing it). Samsung Pay requires you to double tap the power btn, unlock with fingerprint reader and then authorize Samsung Pay by using the fingerprint reader again. Its three actions vs one. Not to mention payments often fails and requires you to authorize with fingerprint again (more like an NFC issue). So yes, Apple Pay is better and you'll miss it. Other than Apple Pay and Face ID, Samsung/Android does better everything else. My recommendation: sync with Google and switch between Android & iPhone every ~6 years. Experiment both ecosystems, their pros and cons. You don't need to worship anyone.
I had an S23 Ultra for a few months last year and don’t remember Samsung pay being that tedious. I thought it was no different to Apple Pay, double click power button, authorise with fingerprint, and then it was ready to put near the terminal. I don’t recall having to unlock, then authorise. Can’t remember for sure now though.
I think the difference between Android and iOS are becoming smaller, making it easier for iOS users to switch. I’m still thinking of switching from my 14 pro max to s24 but I’m afraid to lose some of the small convenience iOS brings 😅
@@robinfaigmane10 for me, it's the swipe gesture that allows me to go back no matter what app I am on. It's the customisation. It's the ability to download apps not only from the Play Store but from anywhere online as long as it's APK format (that's a big one for some). It's the ability to change your whole system UI by downloading a launcher. Those are the small little things I could list at the top of my head right now that I appreciate about Android and I do use almost all of them every day. What's your small littl3 convenience things about iOS?
We’re in a weird space for tech advancements when the companies are not competing based on technological leaps forward. Cameras get all the hype vs what’s under the hood. It is absolutely insane that Apple cannot truly engage in multi-tasking the way android users can. That’s coming from an IOS user.
Im in the process of trying to switch to android, but it’s hard. All my stuff is Apple. And of course Google Photos is cheaper. You’re giving them your data.
You just gotta do it. Probably harder if you're American. As someone who lives in the UK, I switched to S24Ultra from iPhone 14PM without any issues. Also Samsung always offers deals, so mine came with the galaxy buds for free and then just bought the watch. It also works with my TV, and other smart devices even if it isn't Samsung. Although the initial part is hard, once you do it, you're entering a much larger Ecosystem with Google, Samsung and Microsoft since they all work together. Just do you bro, both phones are fine.
There are so many things I like and miss about Android. I’ve been on iOS for years now and I can’t leave it because of the ecosystem, primarily iMessage and FaceTime. I know WhatsApp is great, but here in the USA, there’s not a chance in hell I will be able to convince my friends and family to use it seriously. I don’t really have a problem with the OS, other than I’m just bored of it. I miss the variety that Android devices have but Apple feels too safe for me to leave 😅

Sweet! 😂

Back in the days when WhatsApp started, I paid for the App on my iPhone 3GS a one-time fee of 1,59€, if I remember correctly.

Your Apple Watch will not work at all with an Android phone. Just FYI. Everything else is easily doable going from iPhone to Android.

Im switching from 11Pro Max next week and looking forward to it. As for messaging, apple is slated to adopt the RCS way this year!
So... how's it going?
@RagingBad UPDATE--made the switch after being with apple since 2010 and wow! What a vast difference! Feels like freedom!
Love the video, bro! I agree with you 100% here. The S24 Ultra has taken the top spot in my pocket and that's big!
Trying the s24 ultra for the past few days...after being for years with an iPhone. So far so good but it takes some getting used to
You know you missed that Apple ecosystem ~~
Same.. I love my apple 4k tv though. Best thing ever.. So smooth compared to anything else that is the same.
@callmeNeno some things work better on ios for sure, but overall, there is so much flexibility with android and this s24 ultra device is great
6:09 what are the point of sales terminals like in (I think you said) Canada?

I think once RCS is incorporated with iPhone/android, really won’t be much difference with each OS then and more people with be leaving iPhone for android. I’m primarily an iPhone user. Being able to send high quality videos/pictures to and from iPhone/android will be a game changer for android.
i just did the exact contrary and for socials apple is way better. I also knew what I've lost with this switch but stability for me is a game changer

But trade in value is amazing with Samsung, makes buying a replacement phone super easy and cheap.

Most poor people do use androids, it is the #1 phone choice of burger flippers, janitors, and now Best Buy workers.

Watching from the UK hearing you say you're locked in to the iPhone, then hearing you mention iMessage and FaceTime made me think it's not that hard. Likely because nobody uses either here, or even uses video calling in general
I agree about the modem, I have the OnePlus 12 which has the same modem and the service is amazing. Way better than my friends iPhones
hey man, glad you found the phone that works for you!

I abused the hell out of my iPhone 8 mainly with nonsense games, with android for some reason... none of that. Everything on my Pixel works just fine except for Bleacher Report. Its an app I use quite a bit while watching basketball games and getting into it with people in the live chat. It's horrible on Android. Everything else is fine. I love how clean it looks too... maybe I'll stay for a bit.
Random question where did you find that background image shown at 10 seconds in the video? I really like it.
Thinking of changing back to Samsung after 2.5 years of iPhone. Thanks for the info
I agree with everyone you said 100% Great review.
much appreciated :)
*"Psst! Remember, it's also 25% cheaper..."*
using what works for you would be best and its great that you got out of the apple ecosystem..
i made the switch myself but from the note 20 ultra to the iphone 14 pro and i realized that android was a better deal for my work flow..im still adjusting to the iphone but i really wanna go back to android 😊
I've had the same phone for 5 years. After I swap the battery, I hope to keep it for another 5.
this video helped me make the decision to stay with Android...thanks!
Hi there @ValisMind 👋
I just subscribed to your channel. Very good review, thank you for doing it. 👍
I have always been Android user. I am currently using OnePlus 10 Pro, even tho it is 2 years old phone now, it is still pretty good phone for me for every day use.
The monopoly in messages only happens in the USA and Canada, the rest of the world is not like that
I know, I said that - but I also only really speak on behalf of the NA market. Lots of people in Asia are interested in Oppo, Huawei, and Xiaomi devices
Over here no one uses iMessage, not even iPhone users. Just WhatsApp and Telegram.
I get that WhatsApp is standard most places, but asking NA iPhone users that have WhatsApp for work to use it in personal convo is akin to asking people to use Teams & Zoom outside of work lol
Eh nobody complains about it
As a Samsung user who had an Iphone: Apple Pay is faster and all you have to do is double tap the power btn and face ID does the rest.
But you will gain the small convenience Android things. 😏
@@malman_is_boiiii like what? i'm so at the edge of getting an S24 haha
Great content ! Are you from Romanian origins ?
Loved the review! Very honest!
That wallpaper skin 😍!
