      Hi Karlo. Thank you for the constructive feedback. These videos are simply a labour or love, or rather an expensive hobby! I do not do this for commercial purposes. That makes it very rewarding when the community responds positively and are inspired to create AWESOME VIDEOS!

      I agree! I love creating personal videos, I feel more heart and soul goes into it than work for other people. Keep up the work! :]

    Great video, very good light!
    I also like my Ronin, great tool!!

      The Ronin S is a fantastic tool. It just gets a but heavy, especially if you add a monitor to the mix. Glad you like the video. The weather was not ideal, but the cloudy skies actually added dramatic effect to the video.

      Yes, dramatic clouds are the best! 😃
      I use it with a monopod-tripod combination so u can 'park' it and use it as an electronic tripod-head. If you use it in flashlight-mode the Ronin grip is the center of gravity so you can carry it very relaxed in your hand with your arm stretched out... so it is a true one-handed-gimbal :)
      There is also a flat replacement for the joystick.... have not got it yet but hope it works great :)

      Great idea to use the monopod to get the weight off. I will give it a try!

      This might shock you, but one lens! Panasonic 25mm F1.7. I dragged my Sigma 18-35 along, but it is heavy and holds me back for my run and gun style of videography.

    Nice colour grading! I’m planning to go great ocean road next week. Just planning how I’m going to take shoot for my footage. How come there’s no one in your footage? It’s always crowded by tourists at the loch ard gorge. Please give me advice for specific time?

      Hi, glad you like the video. The secret is getting up early. Most of the footage was shot at sunrise. The tour busses only arrive later in the day. I shot the video over 3 days and made sure I selected one of the best spots for each morning. The shots of the Twelve Apostles required careful shooting as I had circa 50 photographers all around me. So going early is not even a guarantee. Check out the lighthouse at Port Fairy. It is a bit of a drive but worth it.

      The Great Ocean Road is a MASSIVE National Park. And they have commercial chopper flights every few minutes. Don’t get me wrong...I was very tempted!

    Good job, friend! Did you used V log L?

    • @travelvideography3021
      @travelvideography3021  5 лет назад +1

      Nope! Just natural colour profile. I always shoot in Golden Hour to ensure that the lighting conditions are softer. When it is too dark or the sun is up, I simply go home. It takes effort always getting up early to catch the light, but I have less challenges with fighting with dynamic range! I recently got the Atomos Ninja V so I will be experimenting with flatter profiles. It is all such a learning curve!
