S5 Mini existed?! After four years I am discovering it!
I had it, but I didn't got brand new, I really need it a phone at the time, so I went to the closest phone shop and got one. Was a pretty good phone, until they stoped updating the software

josh edmensoxD any Samsung phone will lag after a few months. Apps performance will not be decreased too much though. I have a S4 mini. Can't say its good at all
You know, I don't usually post comments on RUclips but I've been wanting to say this for a while, just never knew if you would ever respond, haha. Oh well, but I just wanted to say that I enjoy watching your videos man. Your reviews are meticulously detailed and you go in depth everytime. I am really impressed of the S5 mini. I thought it would be only for people thinking "Its only a cheaper S5 that is smaller, perfect for me!" but except the processor, Samsung kept all the Features and even the Fingerprintscanner, so yeah, for a current price of 210€ in my country, a great device. Gonna upgrade from my S3.
I actually wanted to buy a Note 4, but since I want to save money to build a PC, the 250€ cheaper device will be the right choice.
Hehehe, funny how this mini version of Samsung's flagship phone still has more features than the iPhone 5s. 4.5 in screen, Waterproof, iR blaster, finger print scanner, customizable widgets, smart stay, expandable memory, removable battery, ultra power saving mode, etc... Soo tell me why Apple's iphone is $700 + with very little features and a smaller screen. And dont bring up its made of metal. Thats not a justifiable case of such a hefty sticker price. Even the Galaxy S5 records in 4k on a 432 ppi 5.1 inch screen and its only $650. 4K people!!!!!
Meh, the Nexus 5 is cheaper than both and still has better specs than both lol
Most average people don't know about cpu, ram, gpu and ppi and just notice how nice the iPhone looks from the outside and how many people have it. Because of this, every average person wants one, so apple just charge a lot for it. In the eyes of a non tech person an iPhone 4s is better than a htc m7 or xperia z1 just because it's an IPhone,even though it's not
Well the outside still does matter but not as much as people think. I'd rather have the xperia z3 than the gs5 if you get what I mean.
Silver FalconX funny how you don't take into account software optimization. if iOS is able to squeeze that much power out of a silly iPhone with silly specs, then i wonder how much better it would be on the "inside" if it had Android specs. next time take software into account pls. /thread
Silver FalconX 1. iOS functionality is totally subjective. It may be useful or detrimental to you
2.Tell me when you actually see the performance difference in 1GB and 2GB on iOS.
3. iOS does a better job of simplicity than Android, seems like Android software squeezes your eyes with its customizability
I had no idea this even existed. Looks like the perfect phone no matter how old it is. I had the S5 and loved it but a smaller version?...yes!

I wonder if could assist me with this question please. I am currently using HTC One M8 recording 1080P video @60fps for my RUclips channel and pretty happy with it. Wanna replace it with S5 mini which records same 1080P but at 30fps. Would the S5 mini be a decent replacement for videos at 30fps? So far of what I have seen S5 mini 1080P samples look very decent. Any feedback would be very much appreciated. Cheers
well,i didn't like S5 or S5 mini at all but this video got me to fall in love with S5 mini because the video is made in the perfect way to promote the phone

***** lol. I think they do it so they don't distract focus away from their flagship product. If I was head of one of these companies I'd make the phones exactly the same and sell them at the same price. Its really user preference, smaller phone that's easier to use and pocket or a larger device for media consumption and battery. I'd buy a smaller version of the One M8 today if it had the same specs.
The Xperia Z3 Compact is pretty much the same phone as the Z3.

So it is just like a more affordable Samsung Galaxy S5, still has a good processor, screen pixel density is great, camera is ok, and enough ram. Nothing sucks about this phone :)
Beautiful phone, Samsung did a great job making a smaller Galaxy S 5 because I'd like to have this phone, it have a lot of nice features like fingerprint and the super sensitive screen.

Here's an idea. How about instead of making so many new "mini" phones, how about they just resell previous Galaxy phones (S1, S2, S3) with updated specs?

which android version did it come with? The thing is i have this phone and it became SO slow after two software upgrades. i want to root it back to its original android version
The only thing I don't really like about it is where the speaker is located... you'd think they'd learn by now that it just sounds better when it's on the bottom end.
I wish they'd release a mini version of the Note 4 instead. A 5 inch note would be great.

So many people said samsung is copied the apple but thats not impossible samsung and apple are soo different.apple is IOS,samsung is andoriod so nobody copied each other.

Amazon has some but they seem to all be programmed for the UK which allegedly doesn't work without an extra SIM card or something in the US. A great phone, it really is. I like it, bought second hand, it works amazing, great features and hardware. Comparing with Iphone 5s, theres no need to change other than the iphone is a little nicer looking. great phone.
