WOW i had my S5 for 2 months and hated how blurry my camera was. I was watching this and you said there was plastic covering the camera... I grabbed my phone and took off the plastic...

Just wanted to say thank you for this complete walkthrough...I just got the s5, and it's actually my first smartphone (always used prepaid slider phone previously). So as someone who's never used a smartphone, and just got my first android tablet as well, getting started was pretty intimidating. That was the best phone I ever owned. I had so much memories with it! I still have it, but whenever I want to use it, I have to keep it plugged in since the battery dies in 5 minutes.

Fantastic review, long but very helpful. I got the S5 two days ago, and so I used this as like a guide to the phone's capabilities since I have an iPhone 5 that I used and have had iPhones for a while now.

Hey man,would you recommend the s5 over the iphone 5? Cause I dont know if I should stick with the iphone or get a samsung
to be honest, I still miss my iphone 5's simplicity, and am gonna get the iphone 6 or w.e it is when it comes out this fall, and give this s5 to my dad I think. The S5 is probably a better choice over the iPhone 5 at this point because its newer and more powerful, but im so used to iOS and im a huge gamer too, so on top of all my data being synced with my apple devices, I love the timed exclusives apple gets on it's app store in terms of new games. If you're interested in buying android or switching to android, then you'll like the s5. If you've been set on apple for so long, might as well stay. Just go in a store and hold an s5 though and see how you like the feel and stuff.

I just got an iPhone 6 Plus but i am returning it today for the samsung galaxy s5 iphones are cool but if you want to customize your device you have to jailbreak. I like how android is customizable right out of the box
Is there anything Samsung didn't think of with this phone? I am VERY impressed and I've always been an Apple fan. I think the better display really puts this phone firmly in the number one spot. Apple had better REALLY make the iPhone 6 a good one. Wow.
Display brightness and longevity have always been an issue concerning OLED. I thought the S3 had a terrible display because it looked too dim and yellow. I'm still wondering if the new display in the S5 with its increased brightness will degrade more quickly.

How is it compared to the IPhone ( if you got it ) I also have the IPhone 4/4s and I am which to get, SG5 or Note 3/4. I also, hate the battery life. My IPhone 4 Would be at 49% and turn off saying low battery, then I would try to turn it back on and see it is still at 49% which annoys me...

PLEASE HELP: I currently have an iPhone 5s, and am quite liking it but am getting bored of the iOS, and want a far bigger screen, I love the fingerprint scanner, so am looking at the s5, my question is, is it worth selling my 5s for the s5? I do really want that bigger screen, worried I COULD miss iOS even if I currently am a little bored of it?

If I were you I would buy the Samsung S5. It's a nice size screen plus you can replace the battery where as the iphones you can't and the samsung phone baterry lasts a little longer. I have iphone S5 and like it but I am a little disappointed at the battery. I am going to get Sansung S5 soon because it has more features and the camera is really good. Good luck on what you decided

soneb2uty When the iPhone 6 comes out, it will launch with iOS 8 which allows widgets, similar to Cydia Jailbreak Tweaks, so if you hang in there, you just might be glad you did.

The S5 does support usb 2.0
***** Mike in the video said the S5 doesn't support usb 2.0, but it does.
He said that the CHARGER is USB 2.0, but the port on the phone is USB 3.0 That doesn't meant that it doesn't support USB 2.0 it means that it'll be slower and Samsung did a weird thing they could've went with a USB 3.0 charger in the box but instead the charger that it comes with it USB 2.0 I hope that clears something up because seriously you need better listening skills bro
If it supports USB 3 it will support all USB versions under it

Back when samsung phones were kinda laughable with plastic materials, lots of bloatware and a not so good launcher. Because of that I was an Apple fanboy. Now I'm using a S10e for 2 years straight and it's one of the best phones I've ever had.
