Back in 2007 the touchscreen was something amazing. And in less than 7 years, they went from touchscreens to frontal cameras, to integrated pens, to downloadable apps and much more. Another decade after, here we are with the S24 Ultra that can translate calls in real time with AI, the Realme 11 Pro Plus (the phone I'm using) with a 200 Megapixel camera, the foldables of Oppo or Honor... And so on. We went from being amazed of the touchscreen to being amazed of the phone being able to fold or roll itself. But speaking of the Note 3 shown in the video, my father had the same model in the same colour (white) and he really liked it. I still have some kind of clouded memories on that phone. I also remember when my father bought the successor, the Note 4, and he liked that as well. From then on, he only had Samsung phones. He had used a Nokia 5230 from 2009 to late 2012, and the he bought Samsung and kept using Samsung. He had the Note 3, Note 4, S6 Edge Plus, the S8 Plus, the Note 10 Plus, the S21 Ultra, the S22 Ultra and now the S23 Ultra. Planning to get an S24 Ultra soon. Our family has been using Samsung for almost a whole decade now. My sister has the Note 20 Ultra, and my mom had the Flip 5. Samsung never fails in making amazing devices. I owned an A50, and it was probably the best 2019 midrange phone, and way better than the opponent (the iPhone 11). That being said, I have lots of memories connected to the older Samsung phones we had, like playing Jetpack Joyride on the S6. I remember the Note 3 and 4 having some cool wallpapers. And then I either forgot anything about the rest or any other phone was recent. I'm waiting to see what kind of strange technology will be applied to smartphones in the next 15 years...

i agree, the "faux leather" feels just like real leather. Besides im not really too concerned how the back of my phone looks, but for those that do and dont like the leather look theres always other covers you can buy.

Depending on who you bought it from.... you might have a 14-15 days trial period. I just bought the Note 3 and was going to change it to the iPhone 5S, but I'm actually getting use to the Note 3 and plan to keep it now. Just bought it last week myself. I love it. If your a big multi tasker I'd say do it. If you love taking pics, do it. Also depending who your provider is, I'm with sprint , I got a free galaxy tablet 3 with it. There's a lot to discover about this phone still but I wouldn't go back to my HTC

Sam D'Cruz if you have an octa core you cant record 4k but if you have the LTE version then just go to camera - settings-click on the video icon-and where it says video quality click on it and select the highest one its probably over 4000×3000 thats 4k It doesn't say but it is

Thanks for the very informative video. I have some questions to ask. Is this version of note 3 ( SM-N900) any different from N9000 Q ? In the place I live only the N9000 version is sold. The camera recording is a very importent issue for me, and as I watched your recordings at the end of the video, I could deffinately tell that there is a very noticable difference in terms of video smoothness. Is that device capable of recording 1080p @ 60 fps? The N9000 Q version that is sold here is capable of 30 fps max at that resolution. Also looking at your recordings I could definately tell that N900 makes a good use of image stabilisation. The recordings that are taken by the N9000 Q version are totally shakey, and utterly stuttering. What do you think is the reason for that? Thanks in advance..

Well i cant really tell, the s5 of course has a little bit better camera, and a tiny bit better specs, and i mean tiny, and a little bit never version of touchwiz. But what i love about the note 3 is the big screen and the stylus and all of it's features :D

i was thinking of picking this up within the next couple of weeks. but now i think im going to wait to the galaxy note 4, or the iphone 6. i changed to an iphone 5s around thanksgiving and im liking it but not enough for me to stay.
my first phone. my dad used to use it then he handed it down to me. sadly it's broken now but i got a s10 now from my dad!
i cant get my head around as to how samsung got a huge fan base when their UI sucks ass during the days
Honestly, I never really used voice controls that much anyway. Looking forward to picking up this phone next week!

Back in the day The Galaxy Note 3 appeared to be a huge deal in the smartphone market. Mine is still on android 4.4.2 Jellybean. Lol !

WOW! this was the longest review on a phone in a phones history lol very informative and i really, really, really want this phone but i don't have the money for it :'( BUT i will have this phone..... one day lol

I love it how the iPhone 5s only has one gig of ram and a lower clock speed in the CPU yet its still over twice as fast as any android phone, including the S4 and note 3.

In the notification panel settings you can add more than 10 buttons just drag one button from 'Available buttons' and drop it between 2 other buttons on 'Notification Panel'
I love this phone is still keeps up with new phones and 3gb of ram is totally worth it
