The part about any woman confidently expressing her sexuality being accused of being a disguised Succubus and executed makes it perfectly clear that the Abrahamic religions have *always* been about *controlling* people and how they live their lives.
Not my favorite demon but one of the ones I feel is iconically SMT. Also their demonetization ability is definitely one of the strongest skills in the series.
I always had a bit of sentimental attachment to this one due to a side quest in SMT V. Succubus asks you to kill a Khumbanda that went mad with power because the two of them were close friends and she can’t stand to see him losing his sense of self. It’s a surprisingly tragic request from a demon commonly thought of just for her appearance and status as a temptress. Also, shout out to the Incubus from the same game who asks you to deliver love letters to Silky
I did that quest completely by accident the first time. I saw him just running up & down the parking garage. After I got the bottle the Succubus explained what happened. Great characterization for a dream demon.
I always found it funny that incubus were so ugly in comparison to their female counterpart, although the explanation that they basically impregnate women while they sleep seems like a good justification, That explains why, unlike succubi, they are so horrible and lacking in human aesthetics xd

I am down for you to talk about the Malleus Maleficarum and it's writer, and maybe talk about the potential theory crafting of making it and the writer into a SMT demon. For Henirch Kramer, the most logical race that I see is placing him in the Vile race. Bringing a disaster upon mankind that is the religious fueled killings of the Spanish Inquisition and the innocent women who were branded as witches, while the book being a Haunt for it for not only the contents justifying such cruelty but also the basis for the inquisition.
You know, the Spanish inquisition was the least punishing of all. In fact most people prefered to be judged by an inquisitor rather than a noble because they knew that most of the cases the sentence wasn't death. Also in Spain being a witch didn't meant having magical powers but to have a mental illnes. Therefore these people were sent into asylums. There are probably horrific tales about what happened there but that is more about ignorance about the subject more than anything else.
Also I want to remind that witch hunts were something that happened in the Modern Age, not in the Middle Ages (where the Inquisition created by the catholic church was created)
Witch Hunting, in contrary to popular belief, was largely enforced by civil institutions rather than actual inquisitors. Also, it was much more prominently enforced by protestant beliefs rather than catholic ones. In fact, the Catholic Church itself has even barely claimed that Witchcraft was real. Particularly, I don't know why you quote the Spanish Inquisition, which rarely even bothered with Witchcraft claims and rather would treat the accused witches as victims rather than loyal servants of evil.

I never noticed the chains and screws around both the succubus and incubus design. Are they supposed to be Venus symbol and the Mars symbol or maybe I'm just reading too much into it? Maybe they really just like "screwing" with people. Either way this was another excellent video featuring one of the more iconic demon in SMT. I hope the algorithm gods are lenient enough to give you a pass for monetizing this video. Nothing egregious stands out from the images you showed in this video, let's hope RUclips thinks the same.
It's not the images that are a problem, it's the script. It's scanned by an AI to generate captions, and if the captions contain too many "naughty" things (which this video definitely does despite containing no swearing) the video gets demonetized or even age restricted. Would Lillith have the knowledge of good and evil? Always thought it was wrong to punish Adam and Eve for eating from the tree if they had no knowledge of what was good or evil. They already knew it was wrong to eat the tree, as they were directly told so by God. But they did so anyways. They didn't know murder, stealing, lying, etc were even things you could DO, but they did know that eating of the tree was against what God told them to do and therefore wrong. It doesn't fit God's character to be sexist like that. If the story is indeed true as the existance of succubi suggests, then the "Greater and lesser God" theory from gnosticism is actually correct since the God Christains know and worship supports equal rights for everyone but the God that created this world isn't. If the God from the old testament is sexist like that, the they simply are not the same entity and the god of Genesis is a false god, Yaldabaoth. The difference between succubi and incubi has nothing to do with physical appearance. You can have male succubi and female incubi. The difference is that succubi are bottoms, and incubi are tops.

I actually had sex with a succubus once. In a dream I had I was in a cosplay store in my town that sadly doesn't exist IRL and I put in a Dorothea Fire Emblem wig as a joke. I then transformed into Dorothea completely (male to female) and it really turned me on. The world then froze, every other person disapeared. Then a figure resembling princess peach appeared, but she had a p, and as a copy of a Dorothea Fire Emblem I now had a v. You can guess what happens next. Sheer. Excasy. That generates positive emotional energy as well, but not nearly as much as sex does. Doesn't help that their biology is practically made for doing the thing, so of course their way of "helping" is by having as much sex as humanly possible by invading people's dreams, turning them lewd, and then having happy happy fun times with them. Really, a perfect strategy.
