I think they would limit her, and ruin her. Here, she can do things more naturally, at her own pace & schedule. i love how on my trip to jersey the other day i just randomly found in some dollar store squirrel nut zippers and i got so excited to try it especially since you said they were so good. Best candy I've ever tasted by far. Theyre sosososooooo delicious!!!
When I saw that Zotz, it brought back so many memories of my brother and I visiting my grandparents and getting some pocket change to walk the few blocks away to their small town general store and get some candy. I LOVED those things and must now find them to share with my brother.
I love salt water taffy! My favorite flavors is the blue raspberry, and there's one that is almost like a neon green with yellow in the center that I think is pear flavored. Those salt water taffy that is white with black stripes, those are black licorice flavored. Im not a huge fan of black licorice. My favorite Now or later candies are the blue raspberry ones and the watermelons. I love those! :)

Back in the 1970s there was a show on tv called Laugh-In. One of the characters was an old man that would sit on a park bench next to a little old lady and ask her, "Would you like a Walnetto?" and she would hit him with her purse. Funny routine.

The pith is what makes grapefruit bitter and tangy, if you get a ripe grapefruit and you carefully peel the skin off and just leave the small cells containing the juice it's much sweeter and not bitter. I really don't like bitter things, I seem to have a real sensitivity to them: almost all coffee is too bitter for me, and often times so are things like artichokes or pesticide sprayed lettuce. Even if I wash and let lettuce sprayed with pesticide soak for 15 minutes I can still taste the bitterness of the pesticide so I end up buying the hydroponically grown lettuce most of the time.

Thanks to you, Emmy, I had a reason to visit one of our candy shops in town, Candyality. Tried some Squirrel Nut Zippers, and they sure are yummy! I also got some Mary Janes, and I like them, too...but I had no idea that they're the same as those peanut butter kisses I hated getting on Halloween as a kid. They were the candies wrapped in plain black or orange wax paper wrappers. Couldn't stand them as a kid. I don't think the Mary Janes taste like those peanut butter kisses, but yeah...apparent

Mary Jane was my favorite candy when I was a kid. I love the peanut butter Center.
