They do look good, so many oil filters I have taken apart to show badly deformed pleats. Uneven pleats make oil flow take the wider path than narrow, that's why some filters tear easily. Thanks for the comment.
Nobody pays $20 for a premium oil filter and unless they're stupid. You can buy them all day long at your Napa auto parts store for $14.99, and if you buy it online, you can get it for $12.99.
That's news to me. I was just at my Napa auto parts store two days ago getting a premium filter for my truck, and they never said a word about it, this is their top selling oil filter, I think somebody was blowing smoke up your ass.

Yes that may be so, Purolator is made by Mann +Hummel same as Wix and Napa platinum. Purolator is a great filter.

Micron rating is 21, where the Amsoil has a rating of 20, so amsoil is slightly better at Filtration. Thanks .

The issue with these platinum and xp filters, they look great but filter like crap.
I did like those filters at one time but now they are Mann+Hammel and not well made anymore. So disappointed in Wix.
