This was really interesting. 23.000 hours are like 15 work-man-years. So a team of couple of people wasting their work-year. I bought a T-Gt 6 months ago and made the same conclusions. The two bases are practically identical, and overcharging by 2 is not justified. I am extremely satisfied with my base, but if I had to get it new for the same price I would have chosen Fanatec Csl DD.
Yes it is compatible and normally plug and play. Dont forget to push the PS button (to assign the wheel to your user). If that doesnt work, try to change the GT slider to the other position.
How you feel use TGT 2 belt driven? I want buy this wheel but worry about belt driven. Some people said direct driven are more smooth and silent no sound. But DD Pro are expensive I think, but Moza not support PS5. I confused bought TGT2 or DD Pro? Now use G29 I think this noisy and must gap in the wheel, uncomfortable
My favorite wheelbase for playing Gran Turismo on PS5 is still the TGT. Yes direct drive is a bit smoother, but because TGT is already a very good base, the difference, especially on Playstation, is not so big. If you would play on PC, I would say buy direct drive, but for Playstation, coming from G29,.you will be very happy with the difference. Just try to buy second hand for cheaper price.
