- This is a Level 2 Beginner Reformer 25 minute Pilates workout which focuses on glutes and abs. This Pilates workout will leave you feeling strong, aligned, lengthened and connected to your core.
Nell Hoess has been practicing and teaching these Pilates programmes for over 15 years. They are a sure way to steadily progress through the Pilates repertoire.
I hope you enjoy.
This may sound strange, but I like to watch your workouts the night before, so I kind of have an idea what I'll be doing! It makes me excited to do the workout in the morning! Thanks again for doing fun vids!😊
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of reformer is that? I'm saving slowly for a nice one for my home. I have a used cheaper one. Eventually I want to get a studio type model.
That sounds like something I’d do Julie! Great idea I think. Gets you mentally prepared for the workout. I’m so happy to hear you get excited by the workouts. So do I!!! Keep up the good work.
@@juliebridge7590 it’s PilatesEquip made in Australia. STOTT and Balanced Body are also great brands.
Julie, I do that too. Great minds.😊

So excited to do this tomorrow!!!!
Love your videos!!!
Yay! I just did this workout after teaching for 5 hours and I feel a million bucks. I hope you enjoy.
hey Nell, love your workouts. Is it possible to get some workout videos with the reformer but with no additional equipment? Like no box etc? Just for those of us that don't have that equipment and just want to focus on a pure reformer bed workout :)
Hi Vincent. Thanks for your comment. I can put that on the ‘to-do’ list. I would encourage you to invest in a reformer box thought because it is a vital part of the Pilates Method and well worth the investment. 💪🏼
Thanks for getting back to me, I’m actually looking into getting a new reformer + box currently. Are there any you recommend? Cheers
@@vincentdriscoll8033 i use Australian made :

but 2 other brands I have experience using which I think are great are:
STOTT or Merrithew
And
BalancedBody
Hello Vincent. Hope you are well. Just letting you know I now have a website with more reformer videos that you may be interested in. nellh.tv/
❤️ ure workouts; you referenced the notes and then we can print them out where would we have access to that? Would love a dance (tilt/extensions) focus plan!
🙏Jennifer. The notes can be found in the full body 1hr workout in the descriptions. Go to my channel then Playlists then look up ‘Full Body 60min Workouts’ and in Level 2 Beginner you will find the PDF of the exercises.
Hi Nell, do you have any recommendations for pilates reformers? I am in Australia and am a bit daunted by all the options!
Hi Ciara, I recommend PilatesEquip which is Australian made. Hope that helps. Let me know how you go.

Hi Ms. Hoess, need to ask a question. How often should we do reformer exercise?. I am doing level 2.
Hello! Ideally at least 2 times per week but traditionally Joseph Pilates recommended 4 times per week. With my workouts, try to do it at least 2 times per week and keep on the same level until you can do all the exercises in the workout with ease and without getting muscles soreness the next day. When you can complete all the exercises with ease and no soreness the next day, then its time to move up to the next level, if you choose. There is no problem with staying on the same level either, not everyone wants to progress through the repertoire, which is absolutely fine. Listen to your body and basically just keep moving it and it will love you!

This one has a weird ending - it just stopped in the middle of tendon stretch.
Hahaha, yes it does. Sorry I'm a Pilates instructor not an editor.LOL. Thanks for you comment Savannah. Tendon stretch is the last exercise in the workout. The edit is just abrupt but that’s the last exercise. I hope you enjoyed.
