This was surprisingly hard, especially on the abs! Thank you!

I hope it wasn't too hard for you Julie!? If so, do the Level 2 workouts until you can do them easily and then jump back on to the Level 3 workouts. Keep up the good work and thanks for your comment. Really appreciate it.

Hi Ms. Neil! I have a few questions I was wondering if you could help me get answers for. I have a mild form of spastic dysplasia cerebral palsy and my neurologist highly recommends Pilates as a form of exercise. I do not have anyone close by me who is a instructor so I have decided to purchase my own equipment on my own. My doctor believes I am more then able to do this myself so I believe I can ☺️ anyway what kind of equipment do you recommend getting that I can grow with and not have to buy separate pieces for. The equipment is pricey of course so I’m trying not to over purchase if I don’t have to. Also what videos would you recommend me I start out with of yours. So sorry for the questions, but you seem very educated in this subject and I really don’t have anywhere else to go. Thank you so much for your time 🙏🏻❤️

Hello Ms. Raine. Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself. Pilates is great for your situation and purchasing your own equipment is a worthwhile investment. If you don't have anyone close to you to attend in person then, if i was you, I would do some research on a qualified Instructor who could teach you via zoom. Many teachers are doing that now and to get the most out of it, I would recommend you see a professionally trained instructor. I would look up the national pilates association in your country and look for a qualified instructor who could service your needs. Regarding equipment, there are a few options but a reformer that also incorporates a cadillac can be very versatile but once again, you would want a trained professional to help you with learning how to use it. The equipment can be dangerous when not used correctly. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask. All the best on your Pilates journey. Nellx

In terms of what videos of mine to start with...start at Level 1. In my playlists I have level 1 workouts in the 60min, 20min and 10min playlists. Start there and stay there for as long as you need to feel you can do ALL the exercises with ease and without feeling muscle soreness the next day. But my workouts on this channel are for Strength and Conditioning, they are not for special needs. That requires a whole different approach and thats why I would recommend you find an instructor who can teach you via zoom if you cant attend a studio.
