    You know dispatch don't go by this ! They just want to force you to get a load. No matter how your logs are . I try to explain that you have 3 clocks . Maximum of 11 drive time. 14 hour day clock . 70 hour week clock. So if your 11 says 8.5 left . But your 14 says 3.5 . Then 3.5 is all you can drive. But dispatch will say. No you have 8.5 on 11 . 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ They wonder why they have trouble keeping drivers.

    So on your 34 hr reset….after your 70 is up, dont you have to drive the truck back to the terminal/yard or do you have to stop right were you are and take the 34 (with being a company driver)

    What do you select when you take 30 minutes brake ? On duty or off duty?

    • @truckfaktory1710
      @truckfaktory1710  2 года назад +1

      Off duty or sleeper. They have changed it now to where you can be in on duty status for 30mins straight and you can still get time back

    What's confuaing me is other videos i watch people keep saying when you stop at anytime or loading or unloading you you hit the off duty button..i thought you couldn't do that?? Cause if you hit the off duty button it stops all clocks right? And some people said you hit the sleeper berth button when loading or unloading or simply stoping to take a piss. So thats what has me confused. Which buttons do you push for when? Cause if you hit the off duty button while waiting to be loaded or unloaded does that not stop your 14hr clock or do you have to hit the SB BUTTON which stops the drive time..thats where im lost..how do you stop the drive time clock while still running the 14hr clock down.? Sb or OFF DUTY..cause if they are taking sweet time to load say for 5 hrs..then THEY just screwed my whole clock up..damn im so lost.

    • @truckfaktory1710
      @truckfaktory1710  3 года назад

      They r right about the off duty/ sb loading or unloading AS LONG AS YOU HAVE SHOWN SOME ON DUTY TIME 1st when you arrive. You can put in the remarks arrive at shipper/cons, checking in. Going in the sleeper only saves your 70 hour clock. Thats the only status that will "pause or stop" the clock because once you start your clock for the day that 14 hour is gunna roll regardless. If im not sure of a shipper or cons. I will show on duty time for arriving etc. then i will go to the sleeper bc they may take a extended period of time and by being in the sleeper you may can re gain hours back faster, but thats kinda dependant on how your clock was looking before hand. But SB is the ONLY status that "stops" the clock but again its only your 70 that it stops

    • @truckfaktory1710
      @truckfaktory1710  3 года назад +2

      Also with the 14, for example , say it shows you to have 5 hr drive time but lets say where u had just dropped off at a cons and they held you up all day. by time u get on the dock at the new shipper you look and it showing you only have 2hr avaible drive time. Thats what i mean by no matter what status the 14 will count down regardless its based on 24hrs so when it runs out you catch a 10hr break 14+10 is 24hours

      @@truckfaktory1710 OMG thank you brother man. I dont know why i let that confuse me so bad. For some reason i thougt you hit that off duty button it stopped your 14hr clock. . And in return get in trouble for basically lying but now i get it...i made it way harder on myself not sure why lol But you explained perfect. .way better than ANY other video i watched. Keep up the good work amd safe travels brother.
