My hats off to Jaime for never giving up but he faced a waaaay more experienced guy and went to school. It’s not about throwing combinations. Experience, precision, and discipline was key to winning this fight. Canelo had them all.

Are you nuts ? Munguia has terrible defense man, he got a gift decision against Denis Hogan a few years back, he also was very nearly stopped by washed Sergiy Derevyachenko a few fights ago. He'll get pieced up by the other top guys, he's been fighting c level fighters for nearly his entire career.

Pound-for-Pound, dealing with unbelievably powerful punching power is Alvarez & Tank, they are the best two in boxers out there that are worth watching. 🥊🤕
Canelo is still King for sure, but man.. what a performance from that kid. He earned my respect for sure. At only 27, his stock only goes up.

I think it's a show to PBC because PBC acted like Dazn had no involvement in the fight
Mungia was doing great with that jab and pace in the first 3 rounds, then it all eent downhill. Once Canelo closed the distance and started dictating the pace, it was over. Some rounds were quiet but overall the fight went as expected.
Two pure fighters pounding on one another for 12 rounds followed by an embrace of mutual respect. It’s the kinda stuff that makes me love boxing.

The accuracy of Canelo's punching is elite, he might not have the volume of punching he once had but this punch selection and accuracy is top draw
Munguìa did everything he could and then some, didn't back down and fought till the end. Canelo, well he doesn't get tired, you can't hurt him, and he hits like a train, unbelievable really.
But you can outbox him like Floyd and Bivol did
He does get tired. But he did very well in this fight. Glad he won.

I was thoroughly amazed by the fact that when Canelo stepped into the ring, he seemed to have no memories of the prefight verbal thrashing he got from Oscar de la Hoya. And it showed in the ring. Canelo was a man possessed. A real professional.
