fun fact: 1DAC Combo sounds so good because it's quite literally drum and bass

@@coastaku1954 actually the SNES essentially had only sample playback channels and if you used low sample rate samples you could also save space so you can put a higher quality bass sample maybe GEN/SMD style bass samples

@@evanthegamingpocket6362 They certainly are! I even think that Tee Poles kept the original DAC in certain parts of his TH Zone 2, but I could be wrong. Just a testament to how GOOD it is.

Grew up on Sonic and getting to the next zones were always a treat in itself because of the music but man FBZ was something beyond the rest... its such an amazing track. It fit the zone artwork, level design perfectly.

Yes, many people speculate that the Mania team had access to the Sonic 3 Prototype which would explain the Drop Dash. I personally believe that Tee Lopes remixed the Prototype version of this theme as they match better but this is not confirmed and only a theory.
They did not have access to this prototype, it was pure coincidence.

Just noticed the pitches of Channels 2 & 3 are swapped between Act 1 and Act 2
