What is the hard line that attaches to the choke assembly if you don't mind me asking

A bit of heat is pulled into the choke housing via that tube to more quickly warm the choke coil.

Some help, so I put a new carburetor on a 74 F250 with the 360, so I take out of the box and sit it in the truck, I turn on and the rpm went all way up, how do I just before turn on the truck

Three possibilities.
1. Choke idle speed needs adjustment.
2. Curb idle needs adjustment
3. Not carb related big vacuum leaks

Junk carb. Worked for a little while then proved to easily fall out of adjustment

@@RolandCaston would you say buying a cheap on on Amazon is worth it? Or would it be better to spend the money on Refurbished OME carb??

@@skiutah48 OEM remanufactered for sure. The Chinese knock off was problematic after a few months.
