I switched to s23 plus from the iPhone 12 pro max, i love it so far, everything is better on the galaxy compare to my old iPhone, the battery, the screen, the speakers, the camera, everything is just perfect
I have the Galaxy S23 Ultra, I switched from the Galaxy A70 and I don't regret it, the whole ecosystem works great with the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro
Thank you for covering the non ultra s23. I don’t think a lot of people give the entry s23 credit because they say it’s priced to high at 799. I feel it’s a great price and with the newest processor unlike base iPhone 14 (a15) and (60hz), better battery life, fastest ram and storage and phenomenal cameras and 120hz display in one neatly tucked in package. They also have a lot of deals or carriers deals as well for this devices. I’m excited for my arrival of the s23ultra today in about 2 hours. Maybe Samsung should just have two models like maybe the base s23 come in a 6.5 inch and then the ultra model. The plus phone doesn’t seem to sell as well and just incorporate the faster 45 watt charging and higher storage.
Hello Kai! I figured someone would appreciate a video on the S23+! I think it has great value, and people should definitely give this phone a shot. It has great features and is honestly the sweetspot for me right now!
@@victordia099 yessir, when you really look at what it brings to the table the s23 and plus variant are no slouch. They are comparable when you look at them against the 14pro variant. They are def better than the non pro iPhone models. And for once the processor is almost on par with the a16 and the new gpu is the best better than apples. I use both platforms and currently have the s22ultra and 14pm. I can’t wait to test the cooling on the ultra through some intense applications and gaming.
Most tech people get the ultra as a review unit and buy after. There are a few they get the plus or normal but they usually have to buy them and make the review
@Brick100 the standard s23 is the entry flagship of the S series. Not saying its not a flagship because it is. Obviously it's not a cheaper non flagship A series device which are also good phones for the price.
Just a minor nitpick but you kept saying this is the best entry level phone but the S23 line is their flagline line of smart phones and the S23+ is the second from their top model. Make no mistakes, the S23+ is a high end phone, NOT entry level. Entry level would be like the Samsung A series of smart phones for like $300.
For me the S23+ is the better choice over the Ultra mainly because I don't like curved screens and I wouldn't be using the pen that samsung keeps unwisely integrating in the s series. It's just another thing to lose. Thanks for the review
I switched from S20FE to S23+ 512GB in green. I thought about Galaxy or iPhone but when I used the S23+ for the first time, I knew it was right. I not really thought about the Ultra because it has Tab vibes and I already use a S6 Lite with S Pen. One underrated point of Samsung is DeX, its awesome! Moreover, Samsung ecosystem works quiet clean now and its not sealed off like Apple but quiet flexible. You get a lot of interfaces with Google and Windows.

I think s23+ should be the base s23. S23+ doesn't seem like it belongs unless you remove s23 all together. Samsung should cover the gap left bu s23 with their A series phone. Maybe A70 series. Make it more high end
I regret upgrading my s10+ to an s23+ 🥺🥺 I took my s10+ for granted and i regret it. The screen resolution alone is so much better!! The s23+ is such a downgrade, and it makes me mad because it's not a base model (and it sure as hell does NOT cost like a base model), but it may as well be since it's just a bigger version of the s23. It's samsung's gimmick to upsell their ultra. The reason i didn't get ultra was because the price didn't justify the useless add ons (wtf am i going to do with a moon picture ??). I have a 2year plan with my s23+ and I'm so mad i traded in my s10+. I'm so stupid sometimes!! This reminds me of that time I traded in my s4 for the ugly ass s5. Such a downgrade.
It's definitely not the ENTRY LEVEL smartphone of the year. It's a flagship. I've been an Android guys since Android happened. I've never had anything against Apple. I've had all kinds of phone but Samsung. (I've had Samsung Tabs and a J5). But boy, this phone just convienced me and I'm loving it.

Who pays the phone fully out? You can't do monthly installments? And it's never full price regardless you supposed to trade in your old phone. And I'm getting the phone entirely free. Adding a new line I get free phone, and just delete my old line. So I get a new number, but free phone..
Thank you for this review. I preordered this phone coming from an iPhone 12 and was nervous due to never having a Samsung before and having to get used to a whole ecosystem. Some of the features you mentioned are impressive. I think I will give this phone a shot.
I did the same thing a few years ago and now I could never go back to apple. Samsung is amazing and you will not be disappointed! You will realise that iPhone is literally just people paying for the brand, but in actual terms of features, personalisation and performance, samsung are way way ahead.

I had the opportunity to choose between iphone 13, 14 or s23 and I chose s23 and I love it, it's truly fast and it has 120hz wich makes it beautiful, I love everything of this phone but also I love iphone nevertheless I hate the fact that Apple just care of pro max's versions only. Many people say that iPhone 13 is as iPhone 14 and changes came on pro max's versions. That's why I want to buy an IPhone pro max but probably next year, because this time I consider Samung offered more.
I don't think that's fair. I think Samsung only cares about their bigger models too. I'm in love with phones 6.1 inches and lower and Samsung refuses to include uwb in the base s23. Also doesn't have uwb in Galaxy pro buds 2, so if I lose my earbuds case I'm fucked. Also can't replace my airtags unless I get an s23+. Not saying your choice isn't valid, but Samsung cuts corners too
@@wifienabled it allows a gadget to detect others' proximity to it. Think Iphones, even the cheapest iphone 11 (except se) can show user directions to airtags.
Thank you, I got plus model, but which it had QFHPlus screen like the Ultra, and extra camera at the back, so it is own model inside of being bigger bother of the standard S23.
I like the phone, it's really nice, finally they fix the battery life and efficiency problem, they throw out the exynos variant (i live in europe so I've been stuck with exynos for years), and they closed the gap in performance with the iphones. So yeah, great phone, pissed that i got the s22 and that the trade in deals are trash.... Anyways, nice review (needs a little bit of spec fixing, but otherwise good)

Actually Samsung S23 and S23 plus are both against the Pro models..Samsung doesn't make a competitor against the base iPhone series..base iPhone are at its own world..hardware wise are same between both base S23 and S23 plus..the differences is size factor..same as iPhone Pro models..same specs..different in size..
I don't believe that one bit! The standard models are against the standard iPhones, reviewers don't like to say that because it would make Apple look like a kid's toy! The Ultra is the Pro competitor!
I really want to swap to Samsung from iPhone 13 Pro Max, however T-Mobile employees don’t know anything about transferring from Apple to android, so for now I’m stuck with a phone I’m totally bored with, and still trying to get answers
I switched to S23 after 10+ years using ios. The phone design is very nice and feels really good on hand. Im just trying to figure out android right now, its not very intuitive os and the apps design looks uglier than ios.
@@wifienabled almost a month with one UI and i still find ios is more intuitive. Both my parents also were struggling to use android, when i bought them iphone they finally can use a smartphone to its full potential, that is how easy it is to use.
@@stereoboost oh I'm sorry I get it, I like the actual skill of using computers, I'm from the 90s when u had to have some sense to actually get on the internet, now it makes sense, android is too difficult for the average joe schmoe to use, or that actually need an iphone for employment reasons.
I'm in the verge of ordering s23+ to replace my current s20+. The lack of sd card slot is a big let down for me as I've been using sd card all my android life, and it's hard to let that go. 😕

Since I lost it, i've been using only from the A category, but in June I'm turning 18, so I'm really thinking about the S23+. I would change from an A72 which I loved (though I personally loved A70 so much better), but it definitely will be a huge change, if I get the S23+🙈

S22+ is a brilliant phone and thus S23+ will be even better. Larger screen size is much nicer than the basic S22 or S23. Weight of 196g is way better than the far too heavy Ultra and the horrible IPhone ProMax model at c.236g
The jump from s10 to s23+ will be significantly a big one and I'm sure you'll love the change. I upgraded from s21 ultra to s23 ultra - but loved the s10 years back (and only just recently sold it for $200 on fb marketplace).
I been an android user since the days of touchwiz and didn't get into flagship game until 2019. Got the S9 as my first one. Currently have S23 Ultra 1 Terabyte 😎
I noticed I made this mistake in saying entry level, I meant more base model but idk why it came out as entry level! And I got the comments section flaming me😂
In terms of cases I use the ones from CASETiFY as they great protection and solid design! And for a screen protector there’s a lot of good ones on Amazon for great prices.

I'm moving from my Asus ROG2 to Samsung s23 plus just because my display started to get lines on it otherwise, I would have not moved from the ROG2 as the snapdragon 855+ is still capable to take on processing of 2023 and probably 2024
@@erikwestre7970 i know but i got a better deal on the s23+ here in Qatar (also needed the bigger screen) the difference between the s23 and s23+ was not huge but there was a stark difference between the price oof s23+ and s23 ultra ;-)
iPhone suck with 60hz battery drain so fast overheating so much when you play games my friend sold iPhone 13 pro max and get s23 plus and is very happ for performance at gaming is the best gaming phone 2023 the display is so cool and battery is very good he is so happy
This is y I went away from iPhone. More for yr money. Even if u get the plus. Like I ordered a s23. Was gonna get a pixel 7 pro but the trade in & double storage was to good 2 turned down. even if it was more expensive but a dam good phone that will last 3yrs+. Defo no tinny speaker on my s23+. Looking forward 2 constantly not having accidentally touches like my s10😀

Again you are making the same error the author made. The S23 is NOT entry-anything. It is the FLAGSHIP range of phones

How is the shutter speed, moving subject photography is issue with samsung
@@eternal519 It seems to happen mostly in low light situations but for the most its not too bad. Just avoid taking pictures really fast consecutively

Switching too after my iPhone 14 kept blacking out for no reason. Getting my s23+ this week cannot wait.
That’s what my s22 ultra I had last year kept doing plus overheating for no reason. So upset I had to give it back after 6 months use

I sold my ip 14 pro and purchased s23p and i am so happy with this decision, battery is amazing with 8 hours of SOT from 100% to 15%

Change is not easy, sometimes it requires you to make sacrifices. Think about it, but I do believe that the S23+ is a great phone!

I would change from an A72 which I loved (though I personally loved A70 so much better), but it definitely will be a huge change, if I get the S23+🙈

S22+ is a brilliant phone and thus S23+ will be even better. Larger screen size is much nicer than the basic S22 or S23. Weight of 196g is way better than the far too heavy Ultra and the horrible IPhone ProMax model at c.236g

The jump from s10 to s23+ will be significantly a big one and I'm sure you'll love the change. I upgraded from s21 ultra to s23 ultra - but loved the s10 years back (and only just recently sold it for $200 on fb marketplace).

In terms of cases I use the ones from CASETiFY as they great protection and solid design! And for a screen protector there’s a lot of good ones on Amazon for great prices.

I'm moving from my Asus ROG2 to Samsung s23 plus just because my display started to get lines on it otherwise, I would have not moved from the ROG2 as the snapdragon 855+ is still capable to take on processing of 2023 and probably 2024

Was gonna get a pixel 7 pro but the trade in & double storage was to good 2 turned down. even if it was more expensive but a dam good phone that will last 3yrs+. Defo no tinny speaker on my s23+. Looking forward 2 constantly not having accidentally touches like my s10😀

The iPhone 14 battery is much better than s23 but s23 wasn’t as bad as s22. S23 can last a day. I prefer 14
