    Watching on my 23+! I bought the 23 plus exactly for the reasons you stated. The ultra was too big, I would never use the S pen..so paying another $200 did not make sense to me. Phone works great for my needs

      That was exactly my thought, had Note10, used S-Pen first couple months, why to pay something not using and like said in review, after two phones with curved screen, wanted go back on flat one. Phone work great for my needs too.

      I'm getting the S23+ because my work won't pay for the ultra. If I had chosen myself I would like the extra zoom range and bigger screen. But I do like the flat display. I would never use a stylus. S23+ a huge upgrade from the S10+

    Got a Pixel 7 pro at first and returned it after just 2 days (overheating). Got this one right after and have been loving it. Not even using a launcher (past nova launcher prime user, though I might use it again) this phone really tickets all the boxes for me especially after coming from a s20+ exynos edition (yuck I know) and to add to it this phone truly is beautifull and has great battery life. Samsung has outdone themselfs with this phone for me

      I also bought the Pixel 7 and returned cause of Battery and Overheating. How much Screen on time would you say you get with the S23+? And does it ever get hot when doing normal activities, like using social media on mobile data?

    • @brunan-gi147
      @brunan-gi147 Год назад +1

      @@muftizyo8939 My Pixel 7 will overheat while doing videos or just browsing and doing light editing of my photos outside (I do live in Miami and it does get HOT esp summer time). Recently, I switched to S23+ and while doing the same activities outdoors it does not overheat or throttle down like my Pixel 7 did. I even left it in direct sun for an hour and while it physically got hot, the operation of the phone was not seemingly affected. My Pixel would have shut down by then. So overall, I am very happy with it. I do think Pixel takes a bit nicer pictures and I like the pure Google OS on it with no bloatware, but I had too many hardware issues with both Pixel 6 and 7 and am now in team Samsung.

      You get used to FHD+ but you're right, it's a bummer. It improves the battery life but in my experience, the device can already get over 7-8 hours of screen on time which means it'd still be more than enough with a higher resolution.

      You won't regret it bro.
      Make the switch now.
      You never know, what if samsung switches back to exynos by 2024.
      I bought s23+ cream, (this is me stockpiling, in the fear of exynos).
      I got a decent deal with my old A71, I was actually surprised.
      And it is not a bad deal, it is a well built phone all around.
      (It is only a bad deal, if you compare it with pixels, but then as you mentioned inconsistent performance, fingerprint issues, camera glass breaking, volume buttons falling out. )
      That said I am not happy with the pricing this year either.
      They are obviously getting comfortable due to lack of competition.
      But then they also know that s23 series is one of the most reliable devices out there.
      So choose wisely. It should serve you atleast 4 years, properly

      I also wanted the plus version but nowadays ain't willing to part with my hard earned cash for a company that's simply taking the piss with downgraded specs and overcharging customers. They've gotten too comfortable at our expense. Still using my S105g from 2019 which is better than the S23 and plus and also better camera's and speakers than the ultra. Even had this confirmed at a store yesterday when they were well impressed with my tof sensors on front and back cameras. So it's basically a downgrade for me if anything hence not upgrading since nearly two years when I was eligible. Sick of these money grabbing leeches not including chargers and other accessories anymore which others still do. I find it funny how some people are commenting saying how happy they are with how little they've got lol. Who are they trying to kid. BTW, my S105g has a headphone jack, quad hd screen, waterproof everything, extremely loud speakers which are better than the S23 line ups (check on GSM) and came with a charger, carry case and headphones.

I have an iPhone 14 pro, and Apple’s photography has gotten worse with over-saturating photos with their ridiculous “Deep Fusion” nonsense. If anything, Samsung & Apple switched places where Samsung has drastically improved their saturation issue & Apple has gotten significantly worse.

    • @howtomen
      @howtomen  Год назад +6

      Not exactly. I actually think it's a benefit cause it'll save you so much battery life. Quad-HD displays consume sooo much battery and make the phone really hot, that usually I end up lowering down the resolution to 1080p anyways. On top of that, you can't even tell that it's 1080p unless you compare it against another Quad-HD display side-by-side. And it's still really big at 6.6 inches, has 120Hz, and gets really bright at 1750 nits. A huge steal.
