Just upgraded from the vanilla S21 Exynos, to the S23+ ,absolutely love it. Battery life is on another level and I love the 19. 5.59 aspect ratio ,the same as Iphone !
As compared to many other reviewers, Hayls reveals many hidden features that you may have never known about! I've been contemplating an S23+ primarily to get more storage and the gen 2 processor and extra battery life. This video completely blew my mind 😱😁👍🏻
@redbean_bun that may be the big thing I like, the size has me hooked and I use the pen a lot. Slightly bigger battery, bigger size, pixels are higher on the ultra, and the cameras are a step up.
From Note 20 Ultra to S23 here. S23 is much much more smoother when closing opening apps, camera is better most of time except missing on the zoom. Selfie pics are better and boy o boy, the battery is good.

I have both. The s23 and a 13 pro. Trust me iphone is better in terms of everyday use. I see stutters sometimes in s23 but my 2 year old 13pro still is crazy smooth. Even with 87% battery health and even a smaller batter it still lasts more than s23. You have to keep this is in mide that an app made for iphone will be optimised for apple's hardware and thus will run much better On the contrary with android there are so many processors so many rams with varying speeds and every android uses a different set of hardware combination. It is just not possible for a developer to optimise the app to run smoothly for every android device existing which is easily possible with apple so they release a polished version for apple and a generic version for android. Android hardware is far superior than apple but its the apps which are generic in nature and just cant use the device's full capabilities. Thus no way can android compete with apple.
I have been looking so hard, for someone to break down the amazing features on the s23. After searching everywhere I came across your video. You are the first person that gave me what I wanted. Almost every feature you mentioned here, with the exception of Goodlock, I didn't know about. I came from the galaxy s8 so It was a bit overwhelming going from One UI 1.0 to 5.0 . great video.. although most of these features aren't specific to S23.. i have them on my Galaxy S10 (4year old release) as well like - swipe to call and message, delete shared screenshots, goodlock keys, delete duplicates, video collage, album cover, swipe down to make GIF, temporary mute and long screenshots.

Yeah I got a few of those too in my S7 so can relate and I'm not THAT surprised with Samsung this time around. I've had galaxies since mini 2, S5, S7, J7 Pro and now S23 and I'm like well...i can't se to make whatsapp sound like whatsapp anymore and messenger thru smart switch was a nightmare too because it didn't sounded like messenger, the ringtones I customize for people are being duplicated all the damn time, and comparing the S7 camera with S23 I'm like so this is the whole deal? It looks very granulated (like sharpness is about 50%+). That doesn't make a picture better tho so idk bout this change. Should've went with a class A instead cuz they're bringing the same crap for cheaper lol. I think Samsung is copycat tung iPhone now with their same crap different price "new" ideas and it's not that great. All my older phones work but really comparing S7 which was released in 2015-2016 to freaking 2023 I mean tech should've gotten better. It feels the same with laptop computers nowadays too. Before tech went from dial up to freaking 500mega of internet. You can see change there. Now, it's like you need to half close your eyes to try n see the difference lol.

the only reason shutter lag exists is so that Samsung can take time to process their photos, which is why they tend to look better than iphone photos lol

@@onkitkumardutta3719 After few days I've put my hands on my previous S10+, and it's too big! I got S23 on purpose, because I wanted something smaller, and... I don't regret it. On daily basis it's perfect, even tho I have big hands, basic stuff and texting with one hand is now possible without frustrations. I totally recommend it! Don't listen to people saying it has small battery. I don't know how they've done it, but with 3900mAh it gets easily two days with normal usage. This is a subjective opinion, of course, my grandma (yes :D) gets 3.5 day with it :)
For the customization crazed, Good Lock is an absolute godsend. It basically lets you FULLY customize your ENTIRE phone's UI without having to root it! I made mine look like a Google Pixel.
I've been using Samsung phones for almost 3 years now and I heard about GoodLock but I didn't think much of it until I installed it a couple months ago and was blown away with the customization options. It reminds me of Xposed Framework and it's modules I used to flash when I used to root my phones. I'm never leaving Samsung lol

About the 'Smart Things' app: that find SmartTag option works really well with the SmartTag+, which supports UWB (Ultra Wide Band) communication with your phone and makes you able to launch the 'AR Find' mode. It opens your camera and shows you the exact location of the tag as a popup!
I went from the Iphone 12,13,14 Pro Max to a S23 plus, S23 Ultra and went to the normal S23. The S23 is 95% the same as the plus and 90% the same as the Ultra.. Normally i love bigger screens but the 6.1 inch feels amazing, beautiful, good and very fast, also the battery last a full day..

@@livingintheclouds6610 The ultra has a 200MP camera as opposed to the 50MP from the S23 plus, along with better close up details and zoom. Unless you need it for work, the camera on the S23 plus is more than good enough.

@@carlahill1701well comparing an old phone with a brand new battery phone it's not quite even but still my old phone would run pretty much all day. Only at night I'll have to charge it vs the S23 FE I got which I could be using till almost 4am (it turned on and used at the same time as the my old galaxy J7 Pro phone). Also that depends tho because I usually use them in Powe saving, have 15sec automatic turn off screen, I don't run games, I have my brightness very low and sounds low too (notifications and stuff) also don't use mobile data on at the same time as wifi and turn off Bluetooth right after getting home and turn off wifi right when leaving home so depends on what you put it thru and such but yeah can't compare a 2017 battery with a brand new one even if supposively screen is bigger and brighter. Fast charging is better but then again is type C vs micro USB which is 2.0 I think vs 3.0.

At 6:01 there's a little miscommunication. As long as you are shooting at 1x, 50 MP camera would be used, but because of a feature called Pixel binning (iphones also use this), 4 pixels merge to form a bigger quad pixel that has enhanced detail and better colors. Especially useful in low lights. In terms of color vibrance and low light performace, this is far better.
I am planning to buy S23 so watching all the videos about that phone. I have to say I have seen her many videos and every time I am like I will watch some 2 or 3 tricks and skip the video, but this girls energy make me stick till the last second of her every video I watch.
@@ThePalePatriot yes but it's like hit or miss, some iphone photo also does the same. But 15 I have been hearing lots of heating issues, they may reduce the power of the chip, 15 pro I mean.
Enjoyed these tips, very useful! However there's definitely an important step missing in importing stickers to WhatsApp. The video implies it's direct and easy to do. I spent a lot of time finding out it is not and you need a third party app to create the sticker for you.

Yep. I just bought it, got it yesterday. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Extremely refreshing. My sister has the iPhone 14 pro and it does not even compare, in regards to customisation and the benefits of it being an android phone, it's significantly better than the iphones 14pro and 15 pro. Fps is higher. Camera is better, and again superior due to the availability of great camera apps on good lock. Just buy it. I previously had a 6.7" screen smartphone. The 6.1" is damn cute, compact and just a great size. I genuinely don't understand why they make phones so big. They become so inconvenient to carry around.
Try to put it in the battery saving mode. The battery life increases phenomenally. Don't worry there is no reduction in the phone performance. Only thing you will lose is 5g speeds. For that you can temporarily enable 5g. My experience.

I went from the Iphone 12,13,14 Pro Max to a S23 plus, S23 Ultra and went to the normal S23. The S23 is 95% the same as the plus and 90% the same as the Ultra.. Normally i love bigger screens but the 6.1 inch feels amazing, beautiful, good and very fast, also the battery last a full day..
I want to buy one. can you tell me the camera difference between s23+ and ultra? I don't like the size of the ultra but really like the camera. planning to buy either plus or s23
@@livingintheclouds6610 The ultra has a 200MP camera as opposed to the 50MP from the S23 plus, along with better close up details and zoom. Unless you need it for work, the camera on the S23 plus is more than good enough.

@@carlahill1701well comparing an old phone with a brand new battery phone it's not quite even but still my old phone would run pretty much all day. Only at night I'll have to charge it vs the S23 FE I got which I could be using till almost 4am (it turned on and used at the same time as the my old galaxy J7 Pro phone). Also that depends tho because I usually use them in Powe saving, have 15sec automatic turn off screen, I don't run games, I have my brightness very low and sounds low too (notifications and stuff) also don't use mobile data on at the same time as wifi and turn off Bluetooth right after getting home and turn off wifi right when leaving home so depends on what you put it thru and such but yeah can't compare a 2017 battery with a brand new one even if supposively screen is bigger and brighter. Fast charging is better but then again is type C vs micro USB which is 2.0 I think vs 3.0.

@@onkitkumardutta3719 I traded it in and took the S23 Plus 256GB in cream 😁😅 bigger is better! But to be honest i was happy with the size pocketfriendly and this one is not, so you have to choose between that!

At 6:01 there's a little miscommunication. As long as you are shooting at 1x, 50 MP camera would be used, but because of a feature called Pixel binning (iphones also use this), 4 pixels merge to form a bigger quad pixel that has enhanced detail and better colors. Especially useful in low lights. In terms of color vibrance and low light performace, this is far better.
I am planning to buy S23 so watching all the videos about that phone. I have to say I have seen her many videos and every time I am like I will watch some 2 or 3 tricks and skip the video, but this girls energy make me stick till the last second of her every video I watch.

@@ThePalePatriot yes but it's like hit or miss, some iphone photo also does the same. But 15 I have been hearing lots of heating issues, they may reduce the power of the chip, 15 pro I mean.
Enjoyed these tips, very useful! However there's definitely an important step missing in importing stickers to WhatsApp. The video implies it's direct and easy to do. I spent a lot of time finding out it is not and you need a third party app to create the sticker for you.

Yep. I just bought it, got it yesterday. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Extremely refreshing. My sister has the iPhone 14 pro and it does not even compare, in regards to customisation and the benefits of it being an android phone, it's significantly better than the iphones 14pro and 15 pro. Fps is higher. Camera is better, and again superior due to the availability of great camera apps on good lock. Just buy it.
I previously had a 6.7" screen smartphone. The 6.1" is damn cute, compact and just a great size. I genuinely don't understand why they make phones so big. They become so inconvenient to carry around.

I have S23 but the battery life is very bad
Try to put it in the battery saving mode. The battery life increases phenomenally. Don't worry there is no reduction in the phone performance. Only thing you will lose is 5g speeds. For that you can temporarily enable 5g. My experience.
