After you update your phone, #1 is turn off animations. It will speed up your phone experience. (It doesn't technically speed up the processor, but your phone will feel tremendously faster.)
Another thing is, which you should always do with new electronic devices, plug it in and let it charge before you start it the first time. It's good for the battery and also, it might be completely discharged after the long time in the warehouse and if you start it and the battery dies, you might corrupt your OS.
Most of the things you said exist for s20 as well, which was released in 2020.. I am not sure if your videos are behind or we don't have any improvements!! But thank you for sharing your thoughts..
There are tons of new stuff, also the animations are totally different the glitches don't exist in s23 and other major improvements There are new software features
Masterphone i get 7hrs SOT even a little more with draining from 85% (Battery charging protection on) to 15% that's crazy for such a small phone so in the end, it's a small handy pocket friendly beast! 👊👊

Tbh it looks much better and smoother with the animations on. I'd say sometimes it's worth it to just be a pinch slower for a bit more smoothness
That notification glow option was news to me and is really nice. Woud love to see some tips on gestures though.

I thought you should use it and let it drop to 15-20% before fully charging it for the first time? I just got the s23 and this was what I did😭

Im getting 9 hours screen on time the last 7 days
I have been using it moderately for more than 12 hours with single full charge
My phone's up time is from 8.30 AM and by 6.30 PM, I'm left with 48-52%! From YT to OTT, mail to camera, I've not been disappointed yet!
