The reason for people buying iphones is the user experience, ecosystem and apples walled garden. BUT people have different needs and opinions so let them choose their own phones
In user experience you can hide apps on samsung by going into the app drawers pressing the 3 dots and going into app settings and hide apps. You can then hide whichever apps youd like but if you go into the search bar you can still find the app but not on your home screen
In speed category, something not mentioned is in developer options you can speed up animations making it feel even more snappy. Tinkering under the hood is something Apple would never let their users do.

There are a number of reasons why Iphone is still the biggest seller ( I am an Android user by the way but do have other Apple products). Their marketing is superb, the way they tie into the "cool kids" and American Culture and have it presented as a life style choice is exceptional, and I mean that in the actual definition of Brand identity. This and the support they offered help keep the value longer. Their products do have a generally above average build quality, their battery life is often among the best and for users that just, well, use it, the IOS is pretty straightforward. Now some things drive me nuts with their OS and the claims of "originality" and "it just works" is, IMO disingenuous at best, but again, they market it fantastically. If you don't care about making your device effectively bespoke, than Apple is fine, what you don't have you don't miss. Certain features, such as airdrop and Facetime are just great and the "if only you had Apple we could ............" is another strong motivator. The device is positioned as a young persons product that is easy to use for elders and that positioning works a treat. Samsung is seen in many countries as something for the like of me, ie middle-aged, and what young person that isn't bothered about the adaptability and price comparison for new versus new, wants to have a middle aged persons phone? I like the fact that I can tailor my phone to my own usage. I like the fact that it is cheaper with features that in some cases surpas Iphones and in the areas they don't, the difference is nice but not ground breaking. So, Iphone video cameras are still up there as likely top of the tree, the fact that you can attach an external drive now is awesome if you are going to use the video feature. The removal of expandable storage from S range sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks. Sucks even more than removing the headphone jack and that really sucks. Some of the things that differentiated the flagship Samsungs for example, were the things they now offer on their midrange, ie jacks and expandable storage but not on their flagships, I thought we got more for the big money not less??????? Once you lose some of these differentiators and the prices get close, well, to be honest, the value and usage proposition makes buying an iPhone a fair shout, especially given the chip differences in different markets ( I realise there is likely a price reason, but it just feels like us Europeans, for example, are getting a substandard product). iPhone users feel they are getting as good a device as everyone else. So marketing and less of a feature gap will make it a tough ask for Samsung. I think I saw a report saying that iPhone sales are going up in South Korea, and Samsung is losing sales in its home territory, where the company feels like a family business.
The simple reason iPhone is biggest seller is because they wouldn't license iOS to other manufacturers like Google. Not because anyother crap like ecosystem or build quality or software support because Samsung, even Google have all those. Its simply locking iOS to iPhone. Why did Windows phones and their OS not become the market leader given their use on PCs? If the Apple hardware was crap and still this expensive people would buy less. I love your videos, they're so entertaining, but I disagree with Samsung taking the point in battery. Here’s why: Apple lasted longer, and most people charge their phones when they go to bed, so they wouldn't care about the time it takes. Plus, iPhones’ charging time is intentionally slower to prevent battery aging. In addition, the iPhone 16 supports up to 30W of wireless charging, while the S24 Ultra supports up to 15W. So it wasn't fair giving the point to Samsung really weird that nobody talks about this in the comments. I love your videos though. ❤
For a lot of Apple users it's all about status. They only buy Apple products and can never look at anything else. When you talk to Samsung or Android users they could care less what you use. Personally, I find the Samsung/android experience far better with regards to accessories that I can physically plug into the device. Because of Samsung DEX I can plug in a USB c hub and not only charge my phone but have the ability to plug in a lot of USB devices to use on my phone. I even plugged in a USB 3 and 1/2-in floppy drive to pull a file that someone had from an old archive.
Samsung cameras, in terms of taking photos, are much better than Apple’s this year. The photos are more realistic, and there are no unreal details, unlike the iPhone, whose processing has become far from natural.

Samsung is seen in many countries as something for the like of me, ie middle-aged, and what young person that isn't bothered about the adaptability and price comparison for new versus new, wants to have a middle aged persons phone?
I like the fact that I can tailor my phone to my own usage.
I like the fact that it is cheaper with features that in some cases surpas Iphones and in the areas they don't, the difference is nice but not ground breaking.
So, Iphone video cameras are still up there as likely top of the tree, the fact that you can attach an external drive now is awesome if you are going to use the video feature.
The removal of expandable storage from S range sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks. Sucks even more than removing the headphone jack and that really sucks.
Some of the things that differentiated the flagship Samsungs for example, were the things they now offer on their midrange, ie jacks and expandable storage but not on their flagships, I thought we got more for the big money not less???????
Once you lose some of these differentiators and the prices get close, well, to be honest, the value and usage proposition makes buying an iPhone a fair shout, especially given the chip differences in different markets ( I realise there is likely a price reason, but it just feels like us Europeans, for example, are getting a substandard product).
iPhone users feel they are getting as good a device as everyone else.
So marketing and less of a feature gap will make it a tough ask for Samsung.
I think I saw a report saying that iPhone sales are going up in South Korea, and Samsung is losing sales in its home territory, where the company feels like a family business.

The simple reason iPhone is biggest seller is because they wouldn't license iOS to other manufacturers like Google. Not because anyother crap like ecosystem or build quality or software support because Samsung, even Google have all those. Its simply locking iOS to iPhone. Imagine if Samsung is the only phone with Android OS you think Apple will sell any product more than them?

But I think the weakness in your suggestion, to me at least, is the idea that a universally available OS somehow would reduce sales.
So, to be clear, there are 200 or so brands that use Android, Samsung releases the A, S and Z series, at least 9 models a year and Apple release only three and yet they are trading blows with market share.
At the moment its 28ish% v 23ish but its where we are in the release cycle.
Why does Xiaomi have 10%, Vivo 5 Oppo 5 Realme 3, Google probably getting up to the 5ish soon?
What distinguishes all those products? Why does the 15 Promax sell two and a half times the S24ultra during the Ultras release quarter?
The idea that it is only OS based does not hold. Why did Windows phones and their OS not become the market leader given their use on PCs?
There are many, many factors behind buying choices and if you think the OS is the defining one you are, I believe, mistaken. Especially given we know how annoying they both can be.
If the Apple hardware was crap and still this expensive people would buy less. My god, their AI wasn't even available at the release of their new devices and it still doin't kill them like it would anyone else.
Marketing, marketing, marketing.
Add a well made product to that mix and you are away.

After 1/2 to 2 years when the battery starts to fail and you constantly have to keep reaching all the time for the charger you will regret buying the Apple if you had one in the past you'd know about this constant issue with those BS phones Samsung you never have that problem. I love your videos, they're so entertaining, but I disagree with Samsung taking the point in battery. Here’s why: Apple lasted longer, and most people charge their phones when they go to bed, so they wouldn't care about the time it takes. Plus, iPhones’ charging time is intentionally slower to prevent battery aging. In addition, the iPhone 16 supports up to 30W of wireless charging, while the S24 Ultra supports up to 15W. So it wasn't fair giving the point to Samsung really weird that nobody talks about this in the comments. I love your videos though. ❤

For a lot of Apple users it's all about status. They only buy Apple products and can never look at anything else. When you talk to Samsung or Android users they could care less what you use. Personally, I find the Samsung/android experience far better with regards to accessories that I can physically plug into the device. Because of Samsung DEX I can plug in a USB c hub and not only charge my phone but have the ability to plug in a lot of USB devices to use on my phone. I even plugged in a USB 3 and 1/2-in floppy drive to pull a file that someone had from an old archive.

Samsung cameras, in terms of taking photos, are much better than Apple’s this year. The photos are more realistic, and there are no unreal details, unlike the iPhone, whose processing has become far from natural.
