I agree got mine last Friday and love the feel of the phone in my hand. It was a bit of a battle readjusting my fingers to edge swipe flat vs having to dig in but the phone has been amazing. The brightness of the phone is stunning coming from my S21 Ultra. Camera is amazing coming from the 21 and the responsiveness of everything is so appreciated. My only gripe is that the saturation of color has to be fixed when it comes to natural vs vivid mode. I recognize that as someone who uses a DWF monitor that the colors may be somewhat more natural but I had a pseudo cyberpunk theme that contrasted a dark black blue with a deep bright red so that was extremely noticeable when I first turned on the phone. Though I have adjusted somewhat I still want that deep red. I am surprised that Linus didn't mention that. Though the anti glare armor is amazing. I almost don't want to put a screen protector on it. One last thing about the phone, going back to the brightness. It has made it difficult going back to my S9 Ultra because it doesn't look as bright as it used to before I got the 24.

@@kaiserfakinaway5909 I don't NEED a new phone my battery is aging and samsung is giving me $400 for a cracked phone+$130 in education discounts+ free upgrade to 512gb so might as well lol. I already have my s24u and compared to my n20u, the differences on the surface aren't much but i much appreciate the flat screen, antireflective coating, and the great battery life too

@@kaiserfakinaway5909 id have loved to keep the phone longer but my battery is aging and its getting harder to make it through one day of use. Samsung is also giving me $400 for a cracked phone+$130 education discount+free upgrade to 512gb so might as well lol. The design isn't wholly different but I do appreciate the subtle changes like the flat screen, anti reflectivity and much better battery life

I recently upgraded from my S22 ultra to the S24 Ultra (battery life on the 22 was going downhill fast and my plan was up) and ive nopticed i can listen to audio books all day and read on the phone all day, i have even forgotten to charge the phone then wake up by my alarm to see i have 20%, put it to charge, and i have about 60% twenty minutes later when i need to leave. i quite like it, but if i leave home witha full charge and listen to music or a book all day i get home with about 40-50% so far, which is very nice, evn my 22 when it was new got down to about 30% when i got home

Ive had my note 8 for so long that I finally upgraded on the 28th. I knew I needed the pen because like linus said you dont use it every day but when you do you love it. so im happy to learn just how much better it can be from my old phone.

Been following for over 15 years linus. Phones are not boring, you have grown to become one. I used to admire your work but the team seems to have forgotten their roots and is now a mesely money making org.

The fact that he still uses his note 9 plus amazes me, it has been about 6 years since its release but nothing stops him from using it.

One of the best things that i love about the s pen is that it makes DS emulation feel complete on the S24

I've owned the following Samsung smartphones:
    1) Note 10+ 5G
    2) Galaxy S21 Ultra
    3) Galaxy S22 Ultra
    4) Galaxy S23 Ultra
And now I own and am watching this video on my new Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Can't wait for the Galaxy S25 Ultra goes on sale next year.

I upgraded from RedMagic 6S Pro to this S24 Ultra.
I don't like the squared edges, feels like I'm using a brick.
Also, while handling the phone on landscape mode (for games or RUclips) the hand covers the speaker on the right side, because it's located in the bottom part.
It's also sad it doesn't include the charger and that is only 45W.
