I wasn't the customer for One plus back then yet it stole my heart.
Nothing is good but I don't like it's Iphone resemblance. I own a ipad and don't hate apple but just don't like iphones in general. I don't mean nothing is bad tho . Personally 8.5/10 for really nice look. Everyone has own taste and I respect that. I'm looking forward for new stuff since he's the brains of One plus . Hoping he'll never settle. Nothing is a nice name too.
If he makes another brand I'll switch to it too I guess. To be One plus and Nothing have a bit of same DNA
I'll only betray the brand if it betrays us , as the core users. One plus used to be enthusiast but it was expected. I still have feelings for the one plus . I don't like it but .. One plus is like a EX lover. I still see latest one plus news..

I’ve never owned a Nothing Phone or any of their products, but I’ve been following their journey since the release of Phone 1. It’s genuinely impressive to see a CEO openly engaging with the audience, addressing feedback, and tackling issues directly in a RUclips video-definitely rare in the industry! I hope they keep this unique approach going. I'm looking forward to what they have in store and will definitely be saving up to own a Nothing product in the near future.

2:20 I didn’t fully understand the benefit of the Monochrome icon theme until I installed it on my own phone. At first, I thought it might make finding apps harder, but within a day, I got so used to it that I could find any app in a split second. The uniform icons actually helped me stay focused since everything blends in, so I just instinctively know where each app is-no distractions. Even though I don’t have a Nothing Phone, I’m a huge fan, and this experience has made me appreciate the design philosophy even more!

The sad thing is most people that own the nothing phone replace the software with standard Android OS and don't use the oxygen because it sucks it's proven over so many years that no one wants it that's why one plus dropped it and sold it to them

It's amazing to see you taking the feedback and explaining why it is the way it is. And i loved your thought process on using Monochromatic Icons to reduce unintentional screen time and not just aesthetics.

It is true. I use not only monochromatic but also no icons home screen for awhile now, and it does reduce those "unintentional" opening of apps (not really unintentional tho'.)

08:37 Fun fact about mrkeybrd: this whole channel was created because big companies didn't send review samples to Polish channels, even pretty big ones. His main Polish channel (Kuba Klawiter) is way bigger (950k subs vs 141k) and has better engagment, but it's the smaller less updated channel that gets him review samples.

0:12 right off the bat! What a dude! What human, let alone a CEO of a smartphone company, accepts his mistakes so openly?
Other CEOs don't even watch videos of us normal people talking about their stuff, and here's Carl openly critiquing his own products and admitting that there are things he can do better.
Now I'm definitely gonna consider a Nothing phone when I am in the market for a new phone!
