Majority of RUclipsrs and media when it comes to Apple 🍏: "Wow 😮 , the iPhone 13 Mini is the smartphone I've always dreamed of 😍 🤗, easy to use and tap with one hand 🤩🥰 👌🏽" The same youtubers and media when it comes to Samsung: "The Fold 6 is too narrow 😒😬, it's nonsense from Samsung😡😤🤬" And yet, the external screen of the Fold 6 is much wider than that of the iPhone 13 Mini, it is even only slightly less wide than that of the iPhones 11 Pro by 3mm 🤷🏽♂️, and for some people, is actually perfect (not for me), except that, the internal screen of a Fold is not 100% safe and you are not immune to unpleasant surprises. The advantage of Folds like the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Honor Magic V3, OnePlus Open, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, is that in case of accidents with the internal screen, you have a completely and normally usable smartphone. For me, the perfect Galaxy Fold would be a Fold with the form factor of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, with 2cm more in height (to have a rectangular internal screen and not a square one), with 5000-5500mAh battery 🔋capacity and better camera sensor. For the moment, my Galaxy S Ultra + Tab S standard combo is perfect for me. 🙏🏽

Hey man, thanks for the comment. Z fold 6 is def a great option. It's a great versatile phone with really good performance. It's super nice to use once you get used to it. There will be some adjusting to do considering your whole setup is Apple, but I find the smartphone isn't that important. It can be from any brand. keep all your other Apple products and get the Zfold6. Let me know if that helps

@MrCraigie01 on the official site of samsung it clearly reads it IP48 the 4 means it was tested with dust particles no larger than 1mm in size. So the phone is ip48 rated not X8
Great review (made me subscribe) but I have one suggestion. The script could be improved. This one felt like you were reading from a Samsung advertisement website. It should feel more natural and conversational for a RUclips video.
I JUST BOUGHT A fold 7 2 months after release and i have payed 1277 uk pounds this includes my 2 years of 300 gig data and unlimited calls and texts. thats 433 uk pounds cheaper than buying it from the shops but without the contract. whats going on, is it not selling well. because this deal was the only reason i went fold. i usually stay around 1000 uk pounds, my last 2 contracts where 1077 over 2 years and 1044 for the s22 ultra with plan. the only difference this time is i payed 869 upfront then 17 pounds a month for 2 years, so around 400. so far im loveing experience, just wish biger battery, either make phone thick as the camera lens and give me a bigger battery or plse inclue a built in stand at the oposite end of the camera bump so the phone wont rock when lazy typing. or get rid of the camera bump. i was happy with my lumia 930 camera in 2015 so im sure we can forgo such monstrosities. still love thw fold and love my magsafe case lol. thks samsung, thks apple
Dumb question: if moving from an iPhone, but you keep the same phone number, do your previous (i)Message chats still work? Basically, can my grandma still text the old group chat and me get it?
That can work if you complete a file data transfer from your iPhone to the Samsung. If done correctly, your previous chats will pop up on your Samsung and you can keep chatting from there.
You also have to disable iMessage before shutting down the iPhone, otherwise iMessage will still be active for a while. With the upcoming release of IOS18 supporting RCS, the group messaging from iMessage to Google Messages should be a whole lot less painful, unless grandma is on an iPhone that won’t support IOS 18.
i wish samsung would improve facial recognition though. on my iphone 15 it works flawless and i can use it for my banking app etc. but on my fold 6 it wont work for my banking app and many others. it also fails alot

Yeah, the face ID on Samsung is not all that good. It still needs work IMO but it does have the fingerprint on the screen which I love
