im looking for glass protector that has good drop and scratch resist so which one is the best one to use? can anyone tell me if the screen protector at 30 min is good?
I don't understand why being hard to break is a good thing. From what I know, the harder it is to break, worse for the screen, because there is no impact absorption in the film, transferring the impact to the screen... It's like car structures or motorcycle helmets. Am I wrong?
Yes, you are wrong. The screen protector and screen are separate components with a layer of glue between them, just like ballistic glass, but much thinner. Just like a ballistic glass, the outer layer of glass (which we call the sacrificial layer) ends up assuming all the energy of the impact, and the intermediate glue acts as an aggregator for both, preventing the outer layer from beig disentegrated, and at the same time reinforcing rigidity of the internal one. Malleable screen protectors act a little differently, they simply "tie" the screen as much as possible, preventing its molecules from separating and breaking the screen, with an even better result in this regard of breakage than glass screen protectors, however, they have little hardness and no resistance to scratches. It's literally like comparing hard plastic and glass, one is impossible to break, but scratches absurdly easily, the other breaks easily, but is very difficult to scratch...
Thank you so much for making this video. I can't believe that so many of the glass ones broke so easily at 1-2 feet drops expect for AACL'S 7 feet drop. I went through so many of these protectors cause they kept chipping, now I can finally find a good one. Again, thank you so much!!!
I use the Samsung anti-reflective screen and it does reflect a fair amount of annoying glare and those two parallel lines down the middle do disappear after time. At the price though, I wouldn't recommend it 🍻
Hi mate! for the first case/protector you have to go to Preferences-Accessibility and click on Tactile Sensivity in order to rise sensibility up. Good video !!
Hello, how much would you rank the Spigen screen protector in this ranking? Honestly, I'm torn between Samsung's screen protector and Spigen's screen protector.
Hello. I have a samsung tab a9 plus. I ordered an active stylus pen with a metal nib as I will use this tablet mainly for writting. I want to buy a screen protector but don't know which one is the best. I saw the paper like one but it seems like it doesn't protect against bumps. There are the tempered glass ones but I am wondering if I'm going to be able to write with that protector on my screen. Which one would be best?
about the privacy screen pretector. you need to unlock the in the settings the touch sensivinity. if you do this the display touch sensivinity go very good and eazy to do thing and its not stick or not work
That's depressing.... You can't get the AACL in anything other than "Ultra". I have the Plus. Well, the ONLY hopefully "good" trusted brand I can find is Spigen, hopefully they have a good "drop test" capability, can't find any reviews. Sadly they are more expensive and only give you ONE screen. Also, I don't know why this guy doesn't generally test the "major brands" also, like Spigen would have been a MUST in this video.
Hi. Any detachable cases? I have one from ESR, Hybrid but for S9 Ultra i can't find nothing similar. Basically it's like a phone case with detachable magnetic front and back cover. Best of the both case and cover.
Thanks for your work. I don't understand why Samsung don't make their screen anti-reflective by default. They can do it on their TVs and the picture quality is still superb. I would like to have it less reflective but those lines, bubbles and dust are absolutely no-go.
I don't know where he got his wallpaper from, but an app called WallCraft on the playstore has a lot like his. There's a lot like those. Just have to find the keywords to find them.
I'm using a bumper case from nilkin too. But I'm noticing that the case is too tight which hinders the touch sensitivity of the tablet, I noticed after inserting the tab into the case the 's pen started to misbehave and missed many spots while writing. The moment I remove it from the case the touch worked better. I'm also using a tough Lee protection glass, don't know if it's hindering the touch sensitivity as well
@@vaibhavraj6134 I’m in agreement with you. I had some problems with Spen after a few weeks; it couldn’t be used normally when writing in the area near the left edge where the keyboard socket is located.
I would imagine the screen protectors and cases would function identically to this test, just in a different form factor. No real need to double up testing.
@@TheStaniG It wouldn't necessarily be doubling up. I watched the whole video thinking all the covers would likely be available for the 11" S9. I decided to get the recommended AACL. It's not available for the S9.

Not all anti reflective coatings have to be matte, matte just spreads the light out over an area, while a glossy ar coating will add a smoother transition from air to glass reducing reflections by making that transition less harsh
@@squatch545 the reason there is a reflection is due to a difference in refractive index, similar to how this beaker no longer distorts light because the fluid around it has a similar refrative index. ruclips.net/video/yNYO3opdPEc/видео.html if you place a film that smoothly changes the refractive index from that of air to that of the screens glass (and other trickery) it doesnt need to be matte to dramatically reduce reflections. @@johngardner869 its an OUTRAGEOUS $80 here in Australia. For a 1 glass unit that is highway robbery. Not all anti reflective coatings have to be matte, matte just spreads the light out over an area, while a glossy ar coating will add a smoother transition from air to glass reducing reflections by making that transition less harsh
For an example, compare 18:30 a normal film vs 8:40
