Dearest Angie, Love this one! I've done it often since 6 years. You are the absolute best teacher. I miss you, but keep doing your workouts regularly. Lots of Love
Great complement to a cardio workout. The first half ab section was very challenging. The bridge section had a great glute burn! The arms-above-the-head is an added challenge - I really have to work to not pop my ribs or arch my back, it is great effort. Thank u!
Thanks for the intermediate workout! And as a Pilates instructor myself, I love your videos. So of course, I just recommended your channel to a room full of women. 😀
i do this every day, and juggle between your videos everyday to make it varied. i really enjoy this, you explain it so well. i just found these new videos and will add them to my work out. do you recommend an hour or 30 minutes each day. i've been doing these for 3 months now but i also do at least 20 min of rebounding too (mini trampoline) i have really noticed a difference in my strength and dress size. but i do not notice any weight loss...... must be gaining muscle!!!
Hi Kathy, that's great well done! If you are doing Pilates everyday 30 minutes should be fine. Just remember muscle is heavier than fat so you might not notice loss on the scales but you will notice inches lost hence the drop in dress size. Great job! Keep up the good work. New videos will be uploaded soon. Regards Ange
Hey Ange, are your pilates workouts pregnancy safe/do you have any specific? Ive been loving all of your full body workouts but just found out im pregnant and a bit worried. Thank you in advance - I absolutely LOVE your videos so so much xx
Congratulations NC, such exciting news ! You can do Pilates throughout your pregnancy but please get approval from your doctor first. It is advisable not to lie on your back for lengthy periods of time from your second trimester and it is not advisable to do a lot of upper body lifting ie a chest lift. I have some standing workouts which would be great for you and I do have a pregnancy one as well. You can find these in my workout archives on my website. Enjoy and look after yourself! xoxo
love it..thanks. i live in Spain. big tonic to do your videos...nearly ever day. i winder if you have one which may help .. i cannot use or bends wrists at all...so use forarms. this is ok... but cant bend toes either so adapt. nit having ti adapt would be handy. i have very good abs though!
I appreciate your videos, Ange. Have you ever considered producing a video combining cardio with pilates? I value the core strengthening exercises but also gain energy from cardio. I'd be interested in your thoughts on this. ~Jes
+53azure Hi there, thank you! Actually I have had this request from a few people to combine some cardio with Pilates so I will definitely consider it. Thank you for your feedback. Ange
Ange, you said below muscle was heavier than fat in your comment to kathy. I don't understand how one kilo of muscle is heavier than one kilo of fat. Surely they are both a kilo!? I don't understand how the fitness industry promotes muscle being heavier than fat...
+kiwimills Hi, yes you are absolutely correct one kilo of muscle is equal to one kilo of fat, one kilo of anything weighs one kilo. However it is the density that is different. One kilo of muscle takes up less space than 1 kilo of fat. So, as in Kathy's case the scales did not change but her body shape did. I hope this makes better sense? Ange
The Goddess there are a lot of exercises that are similar with yoga. Pilates like yoga is a mind body form of exercise but there are also exercises that are very different too. 😊
