Fitting the NEW Wheel and Tire Setup on the RSX Type S! | Track or Street?

- In today's video, the Acura RSX Type-S gets a NEW aggressive wheel & tire setup! Lightweight Konig Heliograms and sticky Nitto NT01's. We unbox the wheels, mount them, and give the RSX a test fit to see what fender work needs to be done! This would be a perfect Honda track setup for most, or in my case...the ADA backroad special. Enjoy!
New year, new wheels! I've been loving the Konig Neoforms on the RSX, but I've been wanting something with a more aggressive fitment for summer. After all, one of the best mods for a Honda is a tastefully wider set of wheels! These new Konig Heliograms are a 17X8.5 with a 38 offset and fill out the fenders beautifully! For the tires I went with Nitto's track focused NT01 (225/45/17) with a super aggressive tread pattern and side profile. These things look MEAN and are going to stick like crazy. With a couple changes on the coilovers and getting the RSX's fenders rolls, this have a perfect stance.
We take the new setup down to Discount tire Greg (my go-to) who mounts up the tires. The 225 tire on a 8.5 inch wheel is perfectly flush with no noticeable stretch. Upon doing the test fit, the rear fenders definitely need to be rolled. The fronts are PERFECT. Overall, I think this set looks SO good and I can't wait to rock it come spring time!
What do you guys think? Do you prefer the 5 spoke Neoforms or the new Heliograms?

Seeing your RSX reminds me of my old RSX..especially the rear sag.. Drove me nuts.. Replace my soft rear coil over spring to a 8" length hypercoil spring with a spring rate of 14k. Ride did not change and car rotation improved

Those wheels are freaking sick man! I typically like black wheels but after watching uncle Matty for the last few years I have changed the way I view wheel setups. You oughta try out Armour Detail Supply Wheel Coating on those Heliograms and let me know what you think. Thinking about Pilot Sport 4 S for the Redline but those NT01s look like a hot mess!
Ultragrams also look very nice, IMO odd numbers of spokes tend to look the best on rsx's, 5, 7 or 9.
I was watching a video about the IK Foam 2 from the rag company and thought, Damn, this dude's voice sounds real familiar and his name is anthony too.
to be even more meticulous, he shouldve lined up the yellow circle stamps to where the air valves would be 😇 but the new wheels look goooood!

I have a very stock 2004 RSX Type S that is in amazingly good shape for it's age and I'm trying to just do minor upgrades like the wheels/tires, radio, paint, etc. Do you have a recommendation on the order? Also, mine RSX is silver - I think your old wheels/tires would be amazing on mine...want to sell them? You've done a great job with yours and I really enjoy your videos!
