Ya I’m pretty jealous. I was self taught
Just got mine in the mail and I LOVE it!
Good job Paul. His truck is Awesome
Father and son awesome work. God bless
I’m almost 80. I love this recap of Landon’s truck build. He is so fortunate to have a dad with incredible build skills, teaching skills and experience, and a mom who is so supportive. Can’t say enough about you all, and your wonderful lifestyle. Thank you so much! 👍👍👍👍👍 😎
I fully agree!
Yup, couldn't have said it better myself. Landon is one lucky kid!
He is truly blessed well they all are.
Agree, Great Family & the knowledge that Paul shares with his family is just so awesome. Great video y'all.
To all who reads this Stay safe, Take Care & God Bless.
Thank you for all the love! All of you are awesome!
Lando, good job buddy. You’ve got a great teacher.
Paul, you’re a fine example of a good father.
yes a fine example of father. Lando be proud be very proud
I couldn't have said it better.
Michelle did one heck of a job editing. I hope you do this for all the builds Paul does. Love the channel.
Shout out to our other editor, who did this vid! She’s great!
I agree, recaps of the builds is a perfect way to end the series. I think these need to become a regular addition! Great stuff Paul, Lando, and crew.
@@brennancusick2390 Looking forward to Ultimate and Golden Nugget series
After all is said and done, that big grin on Landon's face at the end makes it all worth while. Him and Paul doing their thing for this to come together just made them tighter as a dad and son. Outstanding.
It's nice to see the smile on his face in the different stages. I have always said that if you make your children use their own hard earned money and time for things they want they will alleviate it more and take better care of it. Good job mom and dad!
Just repeating what has already been said….outstanding parents and a truly blessed son. Awesome video.
I hope that Landon really knows how great that he really has it. It's so great to see a father and son build its Awesome.
The only reason to look forward to sundays is Fab Rats 😍
And church…. Sike lol

Amen! Awesome family!
And M.O.R.R.
I wish more kids had the chance to learn skills that will last them a life time from their parents. Great job Paul and Michelle!
Nice!!!!!!! Family is so important. Grandpa Sherm was there. Papa dar showed up.. And 2 of his uncles where also in this. Lando got more than his first truck here.
Love seeing father and son working together on this build. Lando has the best teacher in the world, his dad. Love this family.
Landon will remember this for the rest of his life. The bond between a father and son is priceless. Great job on the build gentlemen.
CHEERS 🍻
Yes sir. Lessons for life and it will be passed down. His son will be a rare breed in this nasty world and that's a good thing
Congrats to Landon on his first set of wheels! His smile is golden!
Lmao I never know who is having more fun Paul or the kids… Truck is pretty awesome Lando “ Not the new Tires”!!
I think Paul is having more fun with this truck. As a father there is nothing like seeing your kids enjoy the things you do.
Good job Michelle...
Bringing the video together.
Good job Lando...
Tear down, welding, & all the new skills learned. Not to mention reminding dad " brand new tires, really dad"... LoL 😂
Good job Paul...
Being the mad scientist of building 4X4 ...
I remember building my first truck with my dad when I was his age, almost brings a tear to my eye. God bless you and your family fabrats.
I really enjoy seeing you teaching, thats where its at. Love It
The joy in there eyes and the smiles keep on going and building your family is the best
It’s great that he’s building his first truck and and learning from you along the way. I did the same. So many kids don’t get that experience👍
You'll be glad you made this vid one day. It's so nice to look back on these jobs sometimes. Thanks!
I’m so proud for Landon. Looks like y’all raised an awesome youngen . We need more parents like y’all. Thank you for all the wonderful content y’all share with us
CONGRATS Landon on your first of many builds! However, this one will ALWAYS be special!
Thank you for not only being a good dad, but showing the world what it means to be a great father! I hope you both have many, many years of enjoying that truck together.
It's refreshing to see honestly nice people. No drama, no emotions (except the love). What role models you all are!
Great to see Landons smile on the test drive!!
I remember my 1st car , Very cool!
Poor Michelle having to do that editing though!!
Probably took longer then Paul building an engine...lol
You deserve a raise!!
Love your channel guys!
Landon is so blessed to have the family he does and to learn from his pop who definitely has much to teach him. A great mom and pop is what every kid deserves in this life. Much respect to this awesome family.
I think I heard a tear in moms voice when she said "he's just growing up" That is a very proud father and son, memories that will last forever.
This is the story that defines you guys. Family, commitment to each other, making memories and enjoying the outdoors, all based on love. I've said it before here, but I will say it again. I am 63, my wife and I raised our boys this way. Your son will never forget these times, and neither will you. The memories will grow sweeter as he (and you, LOL) grow older.
I see my family 20 years ago in your videos.
You give me hope.
Having been following you guys before this started, it's awesome to see it all come together. From one father to another Paul, you are one of the greats!
LOVED SEEING HER DONE ALL IN ONE VIDEO. TURNED OUT GREAT....
Dad and son time priceless. I believe lann will take care of it because he build it and earned it. Congrats.
What a family! Pulling together to get Landon his first ride and what a ride it is. Paul your skills are top notch and your patience with Landon is awesome. Michelle your support is incredible, your children are very fortunate to have you and Paul as parents.
Fantastic, Having your son involved throughout the hole project. He gets an education on what it takes to build something he wants. Great job.
Awesome truck Landon! What a great compilation video, start to finish!
Nothing like working with your kid on a project. He will cherish this moment forever.
The first truck, is always the best truck. And when it's custom built with your dad it's even more better. The memories that will last a lifetime.
Even with All the work and problems, they just melted away when Paul asked him what he thought about it, his smile said it all
I for one am so greatfull to have been able to share this journey with the fab rat family. I look forward to many more. 👍
Thanks for doing the recap. Landon's smile was worth every cam issue you had I bet. Great family project.
Well done to all of you! This whole series was a lot of fun to watch!
Looking forward to see him out wheeling with the crew! Nice truck! It's going to be a good time!
Three generations helping on that truck. Passing along knowledge and traditions as it should be. I’m in envy. 🙏🙏 I’m in love with y’all’s channel for sure now. I’ve been watching plenty lately between shifts at the ER. (Paramedic).
I wrench and tinker on my off days when I can in my home shop. Trying to build up my knowledge and inspiration for one day being able to make the transition when I retire, from medic to mechanic/fabricator/tinkerer. Your channel is helping me along my journey for sure.
Thank y’all,
Jason AB, from Texas.
This is a truck that no matter how old he is he will smile every time he thinks of it. Not just the build itself but all the father/ son bonding as well. That is just as beautiful and priceless as the truck itself. Did a great job.
Loved watching you two on this build!
What a great video y’all !! Unbelievable how talented y’all are. I would love to be able to build stuff like that. I’ve learned how to weld a bit. But, the joke is - instead of laying dimes I lay worms! 🤣
Hope he enjoys that beautiful square body!
Paul, you built more than a truck…you built a lifetime of memories. Thank you Michelle for the work in the edit and to Landon for being the son every dad would be proud to build with.
Square body build and family bonding. How does anyone thumbs down a video like this. Awesome job, great build
This is awesome! So cool to see the whole build 👍
That's a great recap , after following the whole build this is just the tip of the iceberg on how much work was involved.. The end result with big ole happy smiles from Lando makes it all worth it huh Paul ... You guy's are awesome !!
This young man will never forget this truck build. Time spent with family building life experiences. What he has learned will go with him for the rest of his life, Great video.
Yep I kept up on each build video. Then one y’all had to add or extend fenders and add mud flaps. Big smile on his face. Think he likes truck. You great Dad for helping and teaching too. Enjoyed
nice, good job, stay safe and have a great week...
That is a super cool truck!!! Way t go man!! The 454 sounds really good!!
How many trips to the gas station until he asks for something smaller? Lol
If every family in the USA was like the Fab Rats Family, or the Matt’s Off-road Recovery Family, we’d have a lot less crime in our streets and more successful youth growing into tomorrow’s leaders.
Great job dad and mom, you’re raising kids right. Total compliments.
Society needs more of this good wholesome father and son time. We need more Mayberry and less Kardashians. Paul you and Michelle have raised and continue to raise some amazing people. The world needs more parents like you two. God Bless
I loved this series, I am so happy for and proud of Landon for getting his hands dirty and working for what he wanted. In this day and age far too many kids have a sense of entitlement and want everything handed to them on a silver platter. The work ethic that you guys are instilling in him will serve him well the rest of his life, great job!!!
Great story Great Truck glad you left it a Big Block truck. The Smile on Landons face showed so much well deserved pride. Thanks for sharing Paul and Michelle nice work all around.
My Dad helped my brother and I build a wrecked 55 Ford sedan. It took a year. But as each task was completed the satisfaction was well earned. Now at 75 my approach in raising my son was based on my parents know how! You have allot to be proud of! Teamwork and awesome parents setting the example! God Blessed your family!👍🏻
Absolutely love the truck. Nice build you guys are a great example for a good father son relationship.
Everything about this video is wonderful. Dad teaching life skills and a young man with a great attitude. I love the Family Values on this channel.
This my friends is what a good dad looks like. Time spent building, learning and developing character between a father and son. He'll never forget the time and the lessons learned. I know I'll never forget putting my first truck back together with my dad
Nothing like building stuff like this with your kids and watching them grow their own skill set. Priceless.
The smiles on your son's face say it all. More than just a truck project for sure!!!
He will NEVER forget the lessons he learned doing that with dad. I do wish that more kids (and parents) had the kind of opportunity you gave him. My dad taught me confidence and how to be handy, so when I got my first vehicle at 16 I was able to work on it at least SOME. So many kids today couldn't change the oil or even a tire and it's a damn shame.
This build makes me miss my '87 K5. I didn't put my motor back together right after replacing the rods and I blew it up on the way to Cape Hatteras. Now everything is electronics-this and computer-that... but I still love a square-body.
Who needs cable we got fab rats and matt's off road recovery. Breath of fresh air you guys are real keep it up👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
So nice to have a Dad with a Shop, Money and the know how to pull off a build like that!
Like Paul my dad could build-fix anything and he taught me, my kids grew up on a farm but moved to the city as soon as they could. Now rich city folks are buying up all on the land around us and bringing their city ideas with them. If I wasn't a Canadian I would move to Utah in a heart beat.
Working with dad, memories for a lifetime!
Kids grow up so fast... better enjoy every second of it now LOL. He must be so proud of the truck. These are priceless moments Paul, congrats to you and your family.
Had I a Pa like Paul, I would have had a very wholesome childhood!
GREAT job Lando!! Awesome to see you involved and into your truck. Seems to be rare these days, kids turning wrenches and welding.
Hope you geared it down so he can only do 55mph Paul, that's a lot-o- motor in her!!!
Especially love the bed, and it was cut perfect as shown!!!
Always look forward to my Sunday FabRats!!!!
Just found this channel, I’ve owned 41 square body trucks, everything from 2wd short beds, to 2 and a half ton square body dump trucks, you name it I’ve built it. So excited to watch this transformation!
What a great recap on Lando's truck build!! My favorite is when Lando is grinning like the cat that ate the canary while driving !! Cheers!!! Another great vid!
Can't love this enough!! Memories for a life time!! So awesome you guys did this together and he was in there getting his hands dirty as well!!! Gj Paul, parenting at its finest and awesome job Lan!
Such a great dad and mom . I can’t wait to see the newest videos.
Lando be proud be very proud . Paul, you’re a fine example of a good father.
Love the look on Paul's face when he lit up those tires. It never gets old👍
Great job landon. A big learning experience and spending quality time with a great father. You got to learn to value your first truck more from putting hard work into it. Way better than just getting the money and buying something. Plus you have the knowledge on how to do your own repairs. Thanks for the recap. Great channel. Great family and great entertainment with real family values.
Awesome to see a young man and his Dad build a truck. Enjoy Landon! It needs a Fab Rats sticker though.
Love the smile on Lando face. Happy kid! Good job on the build! Nothing like building your first car or truck.
Awesome truck! This whole process reminds me of the times I spent in my garage with my 3 boys. We ALL learned a lot, and we’re still learning today. A BIG thumbs up to Paul! 👍. Landon will remember these days forever.
LANDON CANT HIDE HIS SMILE FOR FINISHED TRUCK CONGRATULATIONS
Definitely my favorite series on the channel something very special about a dad and his son building a truck together
Great job y’all, the memories and skills learned being documented are heartwarming. Reminds me of my late father and I in the shop when I was youn. Paul I’m glad our generation is attempting to pass along what we learned. I have 16 and 13 yr old boys and hope they are retaining what I show them. So good to see a family like yours, thanks for showing us all your projects and family fun.
Father and son project. I had to ahead a tear I really don’t know you guys!!! Very happy for your family.
The only thing is I’m jealous!! What a great series on his truck. He just doesn’t know how lucky he really is. What a great thing you to have done together. Enjoy it every day!! Congrats there youngster on a job well done.
What a great build!
Landon will remember this his whole life.
His folks are such great people.
Thanks for sharing such a "feel good" production.
Regards from S Africa
Clive
Congrats from Canada Landon!!! Fantastic job!!
Sundays are better because I take a trip to Utah with you all. Then football… my son’s soccer game….. more football. Heaven ain’t so far away
The smile on his face said it all, cool dad and proud young man. 👍👍👍👍🇺🇲😉
Seeing Sherm there with those 2 will always be a great memory.
So great to see a Father and Son work together to build his first truck.
If only more people would take the time to teach kids skills that will last a lifetime. Great job to the whole family.
Makes my heart feel good ! It’s always a great thing seeing a young man working on his first truck! Now whenever it makes a funny noise he will remember what he did or didn’t do. Congrats Landon on a great truck. My first ride was a 1970 SS 396 Chevelle. With that big block, you will never pass a gas station. A tank of gas every cruise night. That’s a evening cruise night one tank of gas. But you have to love a big block Chevy ! Be safe young man !
family cooperation of the yaer for me..is there ever enough of those big wide smiles for a mum and dad to have flashed their way? i dont thinks so..well done all and safe happy travels young Land.
Having a fabricator mechanic like Paul for a dad is like going steady with a girl whose father owns a chrome shop!!! What a great Dad!
Family the base of a great Country. Congrats Paul and Landon. God bless America!!! Greetings from Chile.
Your son as well as you and Gpaw will never forget this truck!!!! Folks need more of what this video is about!!!!!!
Man oh man! I enjoyed this whole process of father and son build…all of it! From start to finish, it is pure awesomeness!
I wish kids were more like this these days! Just awesome. Good job Landon
