Man my duramax swap has nothing on this!! I so badly wish I had done a 12v and kept it closer to height. You guys killed this build!!
People with cumin swaps see a d max swap and wish they would have went with the v8 d max instead of a inline 6

Truck turned out amazingly. It's an absolute unit!!! I was a little worried about wheelbase in the beginning but it turned out top notch. The clear over made it pop!!! Congrats!!!

Had no idea this whole time it would look as good as it does.... and functions very very well . Y'all are capable of whatever is conjured up . That truck is done quite well . In todays market $75k + with few more touch ups . Be proud dudes its absolutely badass .
75k is a bit on the high side, you're not far off though
@truckercarter09 well I've seen square bodies go for 100k or more with similar type build so I'd say 75 is a bargain. Over 100 hours of fab work

where I live square bodies trucks go for $3000 to $5000 all day

Freaking killer truck! Love it. Love the classic look with the boggers, i dig the built auto in it too. Who ever was going to take that original camper special square to the junk yard should have criminal charges brought against them lol. Glad you saved it….. twice and really fixed it up nice

Nice work guys. I built 2 over the last 2 years. A 1985 K10 SB 4x4 with a 383 terminator X. also a 1986 C30 Crew dually with 22" Alcoas . I love the old Squarebody trucks. They are the trucks of my childhood. My dad and my older brothers had them so naturally I did the same. 😊
You have almost exactly what I do lol except my 85 has a 406sbc and my c30 is a single cab

Man the intro burn out put a big smile on my face and then cut to the next scene of the truck parked and I seen the boggers 😢. Even before you said it yourself. Boggers are so badass in the mud but those bad boys are SOFT compound and even normal highway driving wear fast. Not sure what you built the truck for other than straight up awesomeness but please take it easy on the Swampers because we all know that they ain't cheap. ✊🤘👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Looks great! If you guys haven't built the center counsel yet maybe extend the 4x4 shifter so its equal to the shifter.
One definite thing i would do is to get the hood protectors to keep the hood from buckling when closing

This is high up the list of my favorite trucks. I have a family heirloom 1964 C10 that I want to give the same treatment to. It was Grandpa's farm truck and Dad's first truck. Always has had a straight 6 and manual so I want to keep it that way. Boggers were the right move but some welds would've been to good and that much lift with only a 35 is a choice I wouldn't personally have made. Some 38.5 with 16.5 wheels would be absolutely killer for a classic build doing a lot with what you can't find on new trucks today. All that being said, in your intro I can tell you've been watching to much vanguard motors on IG 😂

I'm not a GM guy, and I'm even less of a Cummins guy but this thing is perfect. I love everything about this truck. Also, thank you for your wheel/tire choice. Us old men love the small wheel/big tire look. Lol

I had an orange 76 GMC 3/4 ton on 35s 400/TH400 these trucks are awesome and more need saved.
I freakin love that thing man. I’d drive it until the wheels fell off and pull over to put them back on so I could drive it some more! The only thing I would change is the radio, I would put a classic car audio two knobber in it because they look like the old two knob radio but have all the functions and power of a new top of the line radio, Bluetooth/hands free… with a little boom of course! Great build though.

My dad bought that identical truck brand new back in the day. The original diesel blew up almost instantly and the dealership put a 350 gas in it 🤣 still brings back memories
