Paul, you're a way cool Dad! In my younger years, my Pappy helped me rebuild motors on three vehicles I owned and I helped him rebuild his old Chevy 454. Great memories of spending quality time with him and I learned a lot about motors!
He loved tools, and every time we ran into something difficult, his favorite saying was "I have a tool for that"!😁

Paul, speaking of 55 gallons of lock tight, a friend of mine worked on air cooled VW's, and a customer brought in a Karmen Ghia that had definitely seen it's best days. The proprietor sad it looked like junk with all kinds of rust holes in it. I hadn't seen a worse car in my life. The car owner said it's a good car. The proprietor said maybe the owner should dip the car in bondo and carve it out. The owner said he didn't like that option. The proprietor said the least expensive method would be to remove the gas cap and replace everything under it.

Just wait until dear husband decides to change out the engine in the 79 Chevy!! Your kids will be sooo much better off in life, cause they will be able to do all kinds of things for themselves!!

Nice job on the LS conversion. Think I would still be chasing up a correct flywheel though, "just because". Thanks folks.

I don't know a whole lot about building motors, but I do love the noise they make! This beast sounds incredible. I can't wait to hear it once it's all dialled in!

Reminds me of being with my dad and Uncle Pete in Pete's shop when I was a kid. Great memories 👌

I paused at 11 minutes to make this comment. Just hearing Paul say “ the comments are gonna range from you’re an idiot to I didn’t know you could do that” is what this channel is. Makes me think about how I want to make my projects better just by watching y’all

Nice to see father and son working together and not yelling at each other. If it was me and my dad it would be traumatic.

I'm so jealous of your rust free vehicles.
I'm in upstate NY and my newer truck sits in storage all winter so it doesn't rust up.

I don't know which is more awsome...parents taking time to teach their kid or a kid wanting to learn how to do things.

A little trick I learned when removing a broken bolt is to weld a washer on first and then weld on a nut.. By welding a washer first it allows for a better weld as opposed to trying to weld down through the center of a nut.

We need more RC! Matt should get one too and they can compete against each other and the kids.

New Parts - Work involved = Excitement Factor. So I'm not surprised the RC parts appeared more exciting.
