Ed's golden nugget story is already so great and you can tell he loves talking about it. Can't wait till he knows the rest of the story!
Me, too! The reveal will be great!!!
Well let's hope he's not going to the Scandinavian parade 😬😳😅
He's going to need an adult diaper when he sees the whole rig...
I’ve been following this since Matt’s recovery went and got it then I followed fab rats while Paul and crew worked on it and now following Robby and crew this is one awesome build and ride can’t wait for Ed to see it it’s freaking beautiful.. 🔥🔥🔥👀👀👀👀👀👀👀🥹😎
That was sweet you talking to Ed and he didn’t know how much you have been working on his Nugget
Thanks for bringing us along
Hillbilly absolutely rocks. Common sense approach to everything I’ve seen him work on. Be great to put him with some repair techs I know who always try to find something complex when the fix is simple.
Great point. At my work we have an engineer division for fixing things and designing new machines. They insist on making everything complex just because they can.
@@ojderrick5632 Like some IPA beers: they're goofy for sake of being goofy.
I wish I had half the skill and knowledge Hillbilly has when it comes to engines.
The man is a engine genius!
@@gk7754 Please show your self out now... lol
MORR needs a full episode of just Ed telling stories. That guy has seen things we can only imagine. I love hearing that guy.
Robby is the Boss everyone wants to work for. Demri is the real Boss everyone wants the Boss to listen to. Dinner is the one everyone wants to be around. And Hillbilly... Well he is the tool every workshop in the world envy... Fantastic crew all around!!!!
Guys like Hillbilly make this world go 'round.
You couldn't say it better... The best crew in the world
The video of Ed getting his Golden Nugget back is gonna be tear jerker, no one more deserving of this gift(s) 😊
I should've known Hillbilly would get that half-ton started! The Nugget looks amazing, and it was great watching Ed's face light up talking about it. Can't wait until he finds out what's really happening.
funny thing is when it broke down I said to myself they need to let hillbilly fix it. Dude is talented.
@@trubass75 yessir hes the heart of the team
That's a 2 1/2 ton
The Golden nugget is the coolest multi garage project I've ever seen done. I'm hoping to get Robby and crew interested in finishing my 72 Malibu. My dear friend and painter had a stroke during his 9-5 and passed in 2009. He was in the middle of painting my Chevelle in his spare time. At the same time in 09 that Dennis had his stroke, I was having major back surgery. Im a disabled veteran and I'd like to have Robby and his crew finish it. Ill be emailing him pics and the story. I'd appreciate any interest shown. These guys are the best at what they do. Can't wait to see Eds face on the reveal. The parade was sooo cool. Great gesture helping out the veterans in need!
Enjoy Memorial day everyone!
Poor Ed, you guys are keeping him so clueless on this.
The Nugget is looking beautiful.
You, your family, your town, and your way of life are why us vets do what we did. You make it all worth it no matter what price each one of us paid. I mean this from the heart. Thank you for all you have done for Ed. One of the last of his kind. He as well as all of you have shown so many how we should respect and treat each other. God bless.
Thank you for your service this country owes everything to our veterans past and present!!
The conversation with Ed was priceless!
It ain't dinner time, IT"S BIG DINNER TIME ! Hill billy is a champion at starting trucks and jack of all trades. Cody is quite achiever but right on his game. Robby is the paint and panel shop master. The Golden Nugget is above and beyond expectations. Awesome work !
I love how sometimes Dinner kinda talks like Scooby Doo. "Right now I'm installing the rindow regulator" You're the best dinner.
The rescue of the 5 ton was the icing on the cake crew! Slick city moves from Hillbilly saved the day! Sometimes you gotta make chicken salad outa chicken s**t! When your in the hills, you learn to do or die. That’s what all of you have done for Ed. He will enjoy the chicken salad but I doubt he will ever let anyone know exactly how much. You can tell that’s just ED. That’s how he is and how he was raised. Thank you guys for getting the Nugget done for him. Can’t wait to see how that golden charger turns out. We all know you guys are growing tired of that particular color after what y’all went through
"I'll have to go see it" lol. At this point I'm certain your tired of seeing it. Fantastic job sir. Your crew really put a 1000 percent into that restoration. God bless you and your family.
I’m not from Utah, but from Barcelona (Spain 🇪🇸). Can’t wait till Ed got his Suzuki back to ride back again to the woods 🌳🌳 enjoying his Golden Nugget.
What a fantastic day: buttoning up details on the Golden Nugget, displaying the Nugget in a parade, and assisting a stranded parade participant to save their day! Ed’s chat at the end is priceless-I look forward to seeing his reaction when y’all show him the fruits of your planning and labors. ❤️🔧👍✌🏻
Ed's arms are really weathered. I hope he is able to enjoy the Golden Nugget for awhile. It would be a shame if he couldn't drive it some once it's completed. My Mom smoked Camel non-filters for many years and eventually they won.
Holy cow, that’s the most I’ve ever heard Ed talk. Ed had more words in this one video than all the other videos combined.
I hope the 'reveal' to Ed will be a big party...so many would love to witness this event. Never in my time on the Y-Tube have I seen so much LOVE from so many!
They will probably be recovering it and everyone will pop up, like on Matt's birthday.
I gotta give a lot of respect to Hillbilly for having the ability to walk up to a diesel, figure out the problem, touch it in the right place, and all the sudden it starts up. That's a special kind of talent that translates across a lot of disciplines but in short, it means he knows what he's doing.
I love watching a guy put those style of windows. It is not as easy as it looks, but a good installer really makes it look easy. Nice job on this project and great job on the rubbers
Great Job. YOU ALL are showing people what a beyouthefull life this is. Hillbilly's skills are worth their weight in gold, saving the day, Dinner is shining like always and Robby is making the space for all the great things to happen with his vice grip fingers and very professional and courteous way of being. All of the support that makes it all happen isn't to be forgot as key pieces to the puzzle.
Dinner at 17:23 had me laughing so hard. He’s so funny! Such a great asset to the channel!!!
Dinner is ready at 24:49
@@cedrichachez8579 🤣🤣
Just thought you might want to show the "Nugget's" original pictures to compare BEFORE and AFTER as you show your finishing touches. I can't believe the difference in Ed's ride from the rescue so long ago to the finishing touches you are showing today.
Note to self “never play poker with Robbie “awesome achievement the Golden Nugget is sooooo good !!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
This guy can really paint, did you see when he clear-coated the Golden Nugget? He put it on so thick but had no runs no drips. I tried painting a few times and I find it very challenging.
The parade scene was awesome, the amount of excitement and community support you guys have is unreal. Keep doing what your doing boys, you're on the right path.
Amazed at how much time you guys put into these projects after hours while keeping your paying customers happy. All the collaboration on this project for Ed is just amazing.
I think Ed might shed a few tears when he sees what the whole crew involved with this, have done. Looking great guys!
I just hope he doesn't have a freaking heart attack!
Stop it
Anyone who knows the magnitude of having friends like this should have tears rolling down their cheeks.
The Golden Nugget is looking awesome. Hillbilly stole the show with his very royal wave
I love how everyone is gradually getting more comfortable in front of the camera :) Great team and awesome work!
It is just TOO GOOD!
The dude at the end got me! "Like comment and subscribe"
Excited for a new build, watching pros at work with high expectations.
Gotta love a small town parade. Good work everyone. The nugget is a thing of beauty!
Yeah, the camera, the editing, and the appearance are all so much smoother than it was months ago.
I love small towns like this. All the people willing to help each other on a parade. Great job
Seriously, you guys are awesome. You instill pride in your work, being good wholesome humans, helping others like towing and Hillbilly fixing the truck, and spending tons of hours on your own personal time fixing this beautiful Suzuki. Can’t say enough. We need lots more of people like you in the world. Thanks 🙏.
I love that you have, and are teaching your daughter , to have a great sense of humor. I believe a great sense of humor is a great way to defeat bullying. Laugh it off rather than get butt hurt, and you'll excel in life. Love your videos. Be safe!
Y’all ROCK!!! As an old mechanic and craftsman, I really enjoy watching y’all work!! Easy camaraderie in the shop, skilled staff and you guys do it all!!
The best was just hooking up to the M35 so they could finish the parade and then Hillbilly just gets the old multifuel running again!! Just way beechin’ COOL!!!
You are a great bunch of guys/gals, in all the work to the Nugget, helping out on the army truck pulling it through the parade and then hillbilly get it running at the end was a great Day, saved that guy a hefty tow bill. All for the community enjoyment. God bless Robby and the crew
WOW !!! I have no idea what a project like this would cost a client? So many flat rate hours and custom work in labor cost for all parties involved. Great work guys
The best body guys, like Robby, get a minimum of $60/hour here. They worked at least a week straight and about 18 hours a day during the build week. And that was just the finish work and not the body work. Crazy amount of hours. Plus a different chassis and drive train! My guess would be around $60k.
Paint and body easy $10 k plus. I would say total about $20k.. Plus $$ the bike and trailer. Budget 30k with labour parts.. A body /painter about $150 a hour in australia
You heard him say thousands of hours. Thats thousands with an "s". So at least 2000 hours.
$60/hr would be below operating cost for a shop like that.
2000 hours at 60+ dollars per hour = $120,000+ or the worlds most expensive Suzuki LJ20...
Minimum of 100k!
The work in this vehicle would be 750,000+ most likely double that when you add in parts and labor. I have a friend who works in the restoration business. He restores 1950s European race cars and a bill to the customer at 1,000,000+ is not unusual. This vehicle here reminds me of what he does to his vehicles. He told me you paint a Pinto or you paint a Ferrari there is no difference in price as the work that goes in is the same. The trick is make sure in the end the vehicle you’re working on is going to be worth the price of admission. Of course this one is not. But when you add in how awesome Ed and his friends are you can see it’s more than worth every penny. Keep up the great work guys.
Thank for recognizing the veterans that help to make this a great nation. Thanking for including your family in this channel.
I love hearing Ed talk about his Rokon, it reminds me of my Grandparents.
I would love to open up a cooler of beer, light up a smoke and just listen to Ed tell stories. You know he's got a lot of them. Better than anything on the internet.
@@nickwarner8158 Somebody call Matt and set it up. The Internet needs Ed Memoirs!
I CAN'T WAIT to hear the words "HERE COMES ED!" As he drives around the corner in this beautiful brilliant color vehicle, hard to miss.
What you guys did in that parade gave me a whole new outlook on everyone! Your all some really good people!! Keep up the great work everyone!
Myself included
@@raykane7459 I agree. I've got burned out and didn't watch much at first because most newer channels are painful to watch. Usually half of the video is a paid add followed by some over hyped crap that's usually cut short in hopes that you're gonna be dumb enough to watch again. Last they spam for likes, comments and subs etc........ whereas Robby and crew seen to truly care. one of the videos where he helped the broken down food pantry made me realize he's not like most.
This Suzuki is looking 1000 times hotter than I thought it would while watching Matt’s team drag it from the mining site!
Can't wait to see Ed's face when he gets it back!!🤗
When I met the crew I told them they were stars, the action in the parade proved it! Hillbilly even has the wave.
That is so cool Ed still doesn’t know. I hope everyone that worked on it signs the glove box. Parade was awesome!! Well done guys!!!!!!!
The statistics of this project are mind boggling. Think about it. How many hours went into getting all the metalwork done. The new engine. The simply amazing paint job - hours and hours and hours. The cost of the paint. The refitting. This has got to be a $200k job easy.
You must breed special kind of people over there to do all this. I’m impressed!!!
Mr. ED is gonna be so surprised when he sees the Nugget , Hillbilly you got to wave like the beauty queens do lol . Great job on the parade and pulling the Half ton down the road ..
p.s. got my shirt Saturday looks good
Killer job. The Nugget has never looked better. Ed's going to love it. I just hope the shock doesn't give him a heart attack.
Love ALL ya'll! Enjoying the 1st tow of "golden-nugget...GREAT WORK HILLBILLY, starting the "ARMY" truck!!
Great job saving the parade 👍 Shout out to Hillbilly for getting the military truck running.
Thank you Robbie and cohort’s and family. May we all have a blessed Memorial Day.
"I don't need any help!" lol so cute!
Almost there! Can’t wait to see Ed when he gets it!
Parts fabrication is part of every restoration I’ve done. You guys could teach a master class! The Nugget is looking fabulous and thanks to his non-tech ways and some skillful prevarication sweet old Ed still knows nothing. ❤️ Thanks!
The littlest one steals the show EVERY TIME!
It was great love being on this ride!. To the next!
Hey Robby & ALL Crews that worked on Ed's ""GOLDIE"" !!!! Great job of restoration & the Interview with Ed was a ""CLASSIC"" !! 🙂🙃😉🤔🤠😎😮👍👍👍👍👍
You guys are very nice. Love my Sundays with you. Sir Ed looks great
I need to watch something like this to restore my faith in America. Wonderful story in small town America; I hope all you guys appreciate the time and place where you live. Have a great Memorial Day!
America is always great, don't watch the news!
This is an incredible story! With most great stories, I have mixed feelings about getting to the ending and reading that last page. Oh, I want know the ending, but I get so attached to the characters and story lines that the end is sometimes bitter sweet.
That is not the case here! Like most of the viewers, I can’t wait to see the part where Ed gets the Golden Nugget!
We are fortunate to have witnessed such awesome work and dedication on the part of everyone involved.
We are also fortunate that all of our story characters will continue on in more exciting adventures.
Special thanks to Hillbilly for his work on the military truck.
The most caring people and the best all around body and paint man I’ve ever seen.
This whole project has been such a great build. I've seen every video on it from the very start. The only thing that would top this off would to be there in person at the reveal to see Ed's reaction.
The Parade coverage, and helping the Military Truck just got yall a new subscriber. God Bless yall.
The Golden Nugget is looking pretty awesome! You guys literally resurrected it from the dead! Looks amazing!!!🙋♂️❤️👍💯💪
I want to thank you for thanking all the military that touched me!
Epic job ! Work of art. Dying to see Ed’s reaction. Looking good at that parade boys !! Dang, I laughed too !
Hillbilly and Big Dinner 2024
Thanks for that Memorial Day callout. Well said
Really can't believe how awesome this turned out! Absolutely fantastic build guys!
Dinner and Hillbilly having a channel in a future is a great idea. 👍🏼
Man oh man, that thing is looking super nice!! Cannot wait to see it running and Ed's face when he sees it!! Awesome job guys, awesome job!!
Great work.
Just love that Snap-On ratcher screwdriver.
Got a complete kit about 25 years ago and cannot do any work without it. Just the best on the market.
Its a real shame the golden nugget has to go back to Paul's, I wouldn't trust something this nice with him....
Great day. Hillbilly fixes the military truck easily like always. Dinner got away from all those hungry women chasing him wanting some of that dinnertime. Awesome parade
Golden Nugget is looking amazing I can't wait to see the look on Ed's face when he gets it back you guys did an amazing job on it so far 👍👍
THIS RESTRIATION IS NFIRST CLASS. ROBBY AND HIS CREW DO EXCELENT WORK ,ROBBY ARE THE BEST.
THANK YOU Robbie and crew! Everyone involved awesome job! Beautiful work! Can't wait to see the big reveal!
That is the most I have seen Ed talk. You got him all pumped up just talking about it. It will be amazing when he sees what you all have done.
I am sure going to enjoy Ed's reaction when he sees the Golden Nugget. Great job to rebuild the Golden Nugget.
There's definately a life-lesson to be learned from BIG DINNER. He has such a great attitude and nothing ever bothers him.
I saw an International Scout in the parade. That’s my daily driver. Love those trucks.
Anyway, you guys have done an amazing job with the Nugget. Ed is going to flip! Figuratively!
"I'll Hafta Go See Your Suzuki Some Day." C'mon Robby. And you said it with a straight face. Where'd you learn to do that? Liars 101? Can't wait to see Ed's face when he gets it back. Hope you all can be there when that happens.
Thank you for my Golden Nugget fix. I even put it on my calendar ! ♥️
I stopped by the shop and bought a shirt last week while traveling through town with our RV and camping nearby at Palisades St. Park. I wish I'd known there was a Parade on Saturday. I was hoping to see the Golden Nugget, but office staff didn't seem open to that. I did see Robby behind me at the local McDonalds one morning. Great to see small town USA and good people like Robby doing well!
I really enjoyed watching the Golden nugget transformation. Yall did a great job
Excellent work on this project from start to finish!👍
I've only been here since the start of the Nugget saga, but my compliments to you and the team! Obviously the build is incredible but everyone has gotten so much more comfortable working on camera and explaining what they are working on. At least in my opinion, maybe I've just become more familiar with you guys throughout the build!
Hillbilly is a real gem! He can really do it all. Even without tools, the only tools he needs are those working hands! Also that clip you have of Ed explaining about his golden nugget is absolute gold.
Beautiful! Definitely worth all you and your teams hard work. Ed is going to be ecstatic!
I love seeing Sanpeters achieve this level of success and do such nice things for people!! I work with hillbilly’s mom she is the greatest! And great for subs!!
Congrats Robby and guy's on almost getting the Golden Nugget finish. looking sharp guy's.
It's hard to believe it's done at your shop and now it's all up to Paul now to bring it home, Guy's outstanding job!
GOD Bless your hearts for doing this for Ed!! Can't wait to see you guys hand it over to him. Cheers
Great job driving Adly. Nice of you to show off the Nugget in the parade AND save the Military truck. Thanks Hillbilly! And Everyone loves Dinner! Great job ALL. I know it's been a bit of a pain but you're gonna miss the GN when it's gone!
That lil nugget is an amazing rig
Watched the whole story today. Never seen any of yours, Matt's or Paul's videos before. Way better than the car shows on cable TV!
Looks amazing, the level of detail you went to is above and beyond epic.
Hillbilly to the rescue, you guys are a joy to watch, what a great bunch you'll are to watch. Thanks for the great videos.
This brought back memories for me. In the mid 70's I worked in a glass shop.
I liked your conversation with Ed I'm a little concerned that Robby can lie with a straight face lol. It would have been cool if you had put a tow strap on the Nugget's tow hitch to the big truck and filmed it in a way to make the Nugget look like it was pulling the big truck.
