15% to make 5000 that means she had a 33500 front end deal. That’s CRAZY. I honestly think she’s got it wrong and will be extremely disappointed. More like a 5000 front end deal at 15% equals 750 bucks, That’s more realistic.
For BMW every car has front end gross of around 6% of MSRP + 3% hold back, in that comparison 5000 gross on a Porsche 911 is too low. If she made 5k off a 911 deal, only explanation is that they mark it the hell up so that the front gross is over 30k😂
Just remember for every hour you work and aren't making a sale you get paid absolute minimum wage so good luck and you are bound to at least sell two cars a week so eight by the end of the month you are better off starting with an economical brand like Chevy, Honda, Buick, hell even Ford people love to buy ford's just because they can.
every dealership has a different pay plan for salespeople. I work at a used car dealership and my first two years I beat 100k each year. Just have to have a good pay plan. I only make 10% of the gross. We also are incentivized to purchase vehicles. I am in management now, and there's also more incentive to be in sales than management...
Depends on the dealer almost none of there payment plans are the same. Also of course there gonna pay you basicly nothing if you don’t sell hints your job salesmen 😂 at Porsche in stl the lowest product specialist is making 200k a year.
I work at a dodge dealership and make 25% but only on the front end, I don’t make money on the back end (except for $100 if a customer buys a warranty) Although we generally make 3 to in some cases almost 10k just off the front and if I sell 7 cars then everything goes to 35% commission
Bro real talk how can I get your job? I’m a 20 year old college student and I want your job so bad, I have a sales internship for a big company in Vietnam and several other good internships and I’m almost a manager at chipotle. Do you think I can walk in and try to sell myself to the boss? Offer to work for free until I can sell? Please help me I really want to be a car salesman
@@hokhanh7266 it’s different depending on where you are, I live in Canada and I got in by asking a friend that worked at a dealership and have been in the industry ever since, where do you live?
@@hokhanh7266 go to local dealerships and try to get in that way, look on indeed ask around. If they won’t give you a sales position of rip try to just work at a dealership any position and work on getting your sales license, watch lots of RUclips videos about sales and you should have no problem. It is a great job with low barrier to entry! I make a very comfortable living even when I only sell a few cars that month
This is how it works at hyundai parts, sell more make less. If we sell more, our percentages drop as, "parts employees don't need to make that much." Takes all incentives out of working hard, let alone working. We were hitting 150k a month in gross parts sold. But because of the GM's new motto, we stop selling right at 130k. No need to do well, if our pay is going to be permanently diminished for doing well
At Lexus, you pretty much get a free lease after 2 years, depends on position, its a $400 credit towards a lease a month.
went up to $600 not too long ago

I work at Audi an Audi Porsche store. 33k front end is nothing on a 911

Absolutely agree! 🙌

911 more then 100K if you get 15% its $15000 why you said $5000 ??? and if you will sold 10 cars each month you will make 600k for year ???
You don't sell that many
15 percent off the gross...
15% of the total profit made on the vehicle to the dealership, not the total $ value of the vehicle
15% on the profit made by the vehicle not the price

Amazing connections? Tiered pay is carrot dangling. They will def try to screw u out of going up a tier

The arrow pointed at the dislike button so I felt obligated. Now tell them about your tax bracket, retirement plan, health insurance.
Lol
Know someone making 60k/m at a toyota
Dang 😮
This is so inaccurate that it's not even funny...
That’s funny ..dealers don’t have Porsche’s in their lot. How can they sell 10 to 15 cars for one person? That really funny what she says
lol
Shows how insanely overpriced the cars are 25%!!!
