But if you just want to drive the cars don’t come to the main company Porsche AG and rather go to a dealership since we don’t have free access to pool cars even though we build them

I have a 4 GTS in Aventurine Green coming with the heritage interior too, I think it was the best decision!

Congrats Justin - I too have been going through my first Porsche journey (but I’m 2x ur age). Unless you have a heavy commute daily - I would highly recommend you get the manual trans if you have not reached your freeze date.
My journey went from getting a 2024 allocation for a 911 Turbo S Cab and I spec’d Chalk with Heritage interior and then I cancelled the order and this was after selling my 720s spider - fast fwd and I got lucky again and got allocation for a Targa GTS in which I specd an Ice Grey with Blue interior and manual trans - you cannot get heritage interior with GTS 🥲 - but none-the-less I’m excited and the manual is what really makes it so special for me. I did it backwards from Muscle cars, JDM, BMW and then Ferrari, McLaren and always knew I would end up at Porsche. 💪🏽
100% on the manual! I don't even look at ones anymore without a stick. I've drove both, had the Turbo, ya it was fast, but rolling through the gears, there's nothing like it.

Congratulations! I have a shark blue T on order so can identify with your excitement. I love the heritage interior but wasn’t available for the T…but did get the Burmeister as well. I love the restraint of your car but wanted something a bit more sporty/edgy for myself. Good luck with your new beautiful 911!

Get the 7 speed. It'll be super easy to drive. Pretty sure it downshift rev matches and has roll back assist. Basically dummy proof and will help resell.

I wish they offered a glacier blue, that cross between crystal, gray, white, and blue in paint color.
I have an Artic Grey 992 911 Turbo S 2023. GT Silver is probably the best silver paint variant I have seen as the blacks in the paint seem to make the curves of the 992 stand out. Congrats on the new 911. Carrera S is a great choice. I hope you speced Surround View, front lift, and rear axle steer. I can't recall if the Carrera S comes with PASM as standard for the 2024 (too lazy to check). Also look into PDDC and Power Steering Plus (not a huge deal). The Heritage interior looks stunning and your combo will look perfect. Enjoy your 992 911 in good health. I love mine.

When I was speccing my 911 it always irritated me when the salesperson would say such and such option is 'a must have'. If it's a must have why isn't it standard? Like without it your Porsche is lacking? :)
I noticed that too. “This tiny little change to the trim under the car will really set your 911 apart from the other cars.”
Congrats, absolute dream to be able to go through this process myself one day. Will you go for the European Delivery program ? imo a must and a unique way to experience a new car, plus its 'kinda' free, hotel, transportation and food are included all thats left to pay is the plane ticket but for the experience of it all i think its really worth it ! plus you can just time it with your annual vacation and visit europe and germany !

At 8:00 your SA says there is no red on any of the exterior. How did you change the bottom light covers (below the bar and near the exhausts)? I can't find this anywhere in the configurator and your SA never went over that detail. Thanks if you see this and can respond.

I have been shopping around for a used 2020 under 20k miles CPO 992 and they are at least $100k + tax fee. I always buy cars in cash, writing a $110k plus check gets my blood flowing…….😊
