    Great video, the instructions that came with my set of rear window deflectors made no sense, your video cleared it up in seconds. Thanks for sharing.

    Your video is one of the best install videos for this product on a third gen Taco. Especially the clips for the rear window. The directions from the company are not really clear. I had the rears installed wrong. Your video fixed that. Thank you.

    Thanks for the video. I’ve been looking to buy some wind deflectors so I think I’ll pick up a set of these. I finally took delivery of my brand new Tacoma last week and it’s awesome. Next week I’m having a clear bra protection installed for the entire front. I’ve heard these trucks are easy to chip.

    Have you had issues with your window rolling up slowly with the added width? Or maybe not rolling up completely with the window deflectors? Do you recommend anything to help them roll up better?

      I’ve noticed that installing them in my 2015 Tacoma as well. I wonder if the heat will acclimate the plastic to make a seamless fit 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Great video. Thanks for sharing the install. Do the deflectors cut down on wind noise; or, are they cosmetic only?

    • @Mumfy64
      @Mumfy64  2 года назад +1

      Glad I could help. They do cut down a little when the window is open. They do help when it rains and I need to crack the window.

    Solid video. Been debating on these or Avs. I was wondering how do you setup your camera to get such a front on angle where it’s not aimed up at you like when using a gorilla pod.

      I haven't noticed any sound when i roll up my rear windows. I'll have to pay attention to it next time.

    Looks good. Are the weather tech low profile wind deflectors?

  • @ronh7008
    @ronh7008 2 года назад +1

    These have been on my list of potential additions. After 6 months, still good? Any updates or thoughts? Have you considered a front “bug deflector “ as well? Thank You.

    • @Mumfy64
      @Mumfy64  2 года назад

      They have held up really well and have had time to settle in. It takes a little bit for the window seal to accept the added width.
      I have thought about the hood deflector but haven’t settled on which one I want to get.

      @Mumfy which one did you go with? I got the protector myself for the low profile, sleek look im going for. The other one looks good on Baja builds and the TRD Pro

    just installed but my front windows won’t roll up

    • @Mumfy64
      @Mumfy64  Год назад

      if your auto windows kick the window back down you may have to run them a few times before they fully close. I ran into this issue at first but they will adjust.

    Have the wind/rain deflectors scratched your window tint over the long run?

    • @Mumfy64
      @Mumfy64  2 года назад

      No issues with them scratching the tint. The tint is usually on the inside of the window.

    I have been trying to get the deflectors for my 2018 Cadillac. Xt5. Do you have them? I have bought at least 5 sets for the differt cars I have had.

  • @JohnStevenson1001

    I installed mine and found that the front windows labor to close completely. What’s your thoughts?

    • @Mumfy64
      @Mumfy64  2 года назад +1

      Mine would auto down after hitting them but once I got them to close I held them there for a day or so. Now my windows close like normal.

    If they install that easily could they be stolen just as easy?

    • @Mumfy64
      @Mumfy64  Год назад +1

      probably. i would think the stick on versions would be much easier. but i don't see these as a high value target for theft.
