Hi Rob, I had some sun visors on a previous Jeep and when I used Armor All on the visors the lettering came right off. It might be worth a try, you can get Armor All in a small can of wipes. The Armor All will not hurt your visors. Enjoying your videos. There is useful info on all of them even if you don’t own that particular vehicle being discussed. 👍
Hey Rob! I absolutely love mine. I was able to remove the logo with 50:1 mix, 2-cycle engine fuel. It did not leave any marks or affect the finish. Hope this helps! 👍
Greetings from the Far North, Rob. I'm retiring in February and relocating my 2019 Tacoma from Alaska to Arizona. I think I am going to need the window shades. Thanks for the reminder and the impetus to begin my next mod! Cheers.
I have weathertec window visors on my Tacoma and on my Highlander. I like them especially the front windows the visors come all the way down to the side mirrors.
I have the clip type in channel ones. Never had a problem with them. they are fantastic and yes, the heat factor plays an even more role where I live as I live in Vegas.
One of the first things I put on my 2019 Taco was the bug n stone deflector and just the front passenger n driver side for the wind deflectors. Weather Tech was my choice. Really looks good on my Barcelona Red w/blackout package.
On my 2018 Honda Civic Sport they look amazing. During the summer you can leave the windows open slightly to vent out the hot air and moisture. Highly recommend them.
I was going to get the weather tech ones because they do not have the adhesive tape. They fit perfect and tight without tape. A friend had no issues after 2 years.
AVS in channels are the best! My late father’s truck has then on since 2004 and sorry to say that silver is still there. For some dumb reason I still haven’t got mine in. Need to check what’s up with that. Yes they look great on your truck. 👍👍👍😎
Aloha Rob. I do agree with you that the window visor shields are beneficial to keeping out the rain and keeping the interior of the truck or vehicle cooler. Plus, the air circulation keeps the interior materials from deteriorating as well. 😇🤓🥳👌🤙👍🤜🤛🙌
I have a set of the weathertech deflectors. I love them and install was easy, I prefer the clip vs the adhesive. Anyone else with the weathertechs notice at freeway speeds if windows are down there is a whistle that occurs?? I’d say 70 MPH+?
I admit... I don't know why I have not put mine on yet, same brand. Still sitting in the package for over six months. I guess it's this video that will inspire me to finally put them on! Mrs LB20 said about time.. thanks Rob!
We have these on our Honda Passport. They are extremely useful and I like the way they look. They look great on your truck as well. I'm planning to put them on my Tacoma soon.
Hi, saw your video on tacoma video on the visors, nice, just put them on my 24 tundra, we will see what happens, Was really wondering about that car lift and if you put that panel on the left side to hide lights or just the cables and hydraulics,. I bought my lift and haven't found it joyous, I want to get another one but not a triumph. thanks
@@RobMotive I hear a lot about it. I thank you for your videos. I just bought a 21 SR5. I have a 4-Rnr and old LX-470 so didn't need the 4WD. I told the rep I just wanted red, auto and black rims. Love it all but the key. I'm used to key fobs and auto lock and unlock but don't know what to do about it. I did have Katskin leather installed and the seats are great. With your help I've installed several mods. I just ordered these deflectors after watching this. Thank you.
The leather seats in my Tacoma are the worst quality leather seats I have ever had in any vehicle. Mine is a 2022 and I ve had it since nov of 21 and on the drivers seat the little squares are almost completely worn off! My girlfriend has a highlander and her leather seats are 10x the quality of the tacoma leather.
Junk. Originally designed for smokers to prevent rain from getting in. If it’s raining, you have no business with the window open unless you are a loser I mean smoker. If you’re not a smoker, use air conditioning.
I agree and disagree with you. I don’t know why a non smoker would want these. Its design purpose is for smokers to have the freedom to smoke without smoking out the passengers in the rain. It’s basically useless for any other purpose. However, I believe non smokers are losers. Enjoy a little life sometimes.
Just installed the same set on my '07 Tacoma last week. Love them! So nice to keep the windows cracked when it rains to keep the interior aired out!
They are great for that. Especially to keep the interior a bit cooler in the hot Texas sun😬
Thanks Roberto for that review. I will have to get these.
They’ve been great since day one👍
They look great on your truck, I use mine all the time, they decrease the heat by a lot

Definitely going to come in handy in Arizona. Big change from Alaska I imagine 😬
I like mine and it does help keeping my truck somewhat cooler in the Texas heat.
👍

Many people have the WeatherTecs. They sound pretty good too👍
keep up the good work Robert and have a great day today
Thanks Carlos👍

I have a set of window visors ... I don’t vize often but when I do, I weather tech!!!
Lol! An honorable man😁

Definitely a benefit when it comes to heat👍

Thought about those too. I do like that there’s no tape👍
I have the same brand and in channel I love mine zero issues.
Great to hear. I’ve been very happy with mine 👍
I got those for mine too. Love those
Very handy👍
@@RobMotive what suck my girl 2019 rav4 I can’t find them. But I got one coming soon for it

Hey Rob another great video, really enjoy your channel. Do they create wind noise??
Thanks Dan. I haven’t noticed any.

Lol! I’m here to inspire!!😁
I have the same visors and I love the emblem I guess it's just me.
Nothing wrong with that! We like what we like👍
I'm with you, I hate leather seats. Hot in the summer and cold in the winter and my rear slides around on them.
Lol! They can be pretty slippery 😬
Imo they are useless where I live is too hot and dusty so I never open my Windows stay safe Rob!
Makes sense to me👍
I got some over the paint one from Tacomabeast and they look nice. It says it leaves no mark when it’s time to remove but I’m still on edge about it.
Yeah…paint damage is my biggest fear with those🤔
Put mine on in March 2018 just now starting to fade a little.
Those are nice to have. Mine came with them. But the ones on mine are connected with adhesive on the outside of the door.
I’m not a fan of those. Just don’t like that they are on the outside attached to the paint 😬
@@RobMotive ya. Same here. But they were already attached to the tacoma. But they seem to be doing their job. So no complaints on my end. 😎
Oh for sure. If they’re already there then you just go with it👍👍

Hello Rob. Another day in paradise. Your window visors look great, I could go that direction.

Not sure what panel you mean?
On the bottom of the runway, not sure if you did that for lights or to hide the cables that run thru there. @@RobMotive
It’s just a cover for cables.
When removing the in channel visors will it damage the window seal? Due to double sided tape? Will the tape bond with seal and hard to remove tape?
I would think so.
Black door handles would look good
I go back and forth on them. 🤔
Professor Rob: What is your position on ceramic coating for Tacomas?
I’ve never done it. Would I…no. It’s not something I’m interested in.

Nice list! Lost of good stuff to do. Thanks for watching 👍
Does the edge cuts your hand? I used to install avs on my Altima. Always cuts my hand. Even after I sand the edge off, still very sharp
I didn’t have any issue👍
Black sharpie would flatten the Logo from a distance anyway
Black paint pen or a permanent marker
Wish brands are the one you just installed and where you bought it?
Have a look: ruclips.net/video/_DSIdE11WWs/видео.html
How is it like on the highway? I am worried to add it on mine because of the highway noise
I didn’t notice anything 👍
It’s crazy how you don’t have any dirt let alone dust on your vehicles. Even on the seams 🥸
How so?
I like mine, keeps a little cooler and lets a little air move to reduce gassing from dash.
Mine is catching the window on the drivers side, so much that it rolls the window back down. Returning immediately.
That is a bummer 😡
Sharpie
Rob do you live in Houston ?
I do not.
Are you a smoker? I need to know how well these work for flicking my ashes in the rain. The cheap ones allow for the ash to get inside the car.
I have it for both aesthetics and ventilation.
They're great especially when raining and parked in the sun cracking them. "Joyous" I'm not there yet !!!! 🤔
Lol!! 👍
Those were the "in" thing 20 years ago. Had a set back then, great for smokers. Quit not long after.👍
I use mine for heat. Definitely helps👍
Only bad thing about them is if you remove them
You now have a loose window rattling.
How so?
@@RobMotive after removal the window rubber has been compressed.
I see🤔
@@RobMotive just leave them attached from now on and all is well.
They are only good for the smokers, so we can still smoke when it rains
Lol. Just another added use.

WeatherTech wind deflectors did not work on my Tacoma well at all!
