Fully loaded 23 gt premium is 1k less than a fully loaded 24 gt premium, I’m talking premium high, performance pack, magneride and active exhaust, I’m not the biggest fan of the screens but they’re nice when you’re driving, apart from design cause that’s subjective for 1k you get an engine that stock for stock is more powerful by like 5-10hp, hood struts, a smoother running infotainment system (for now) the old sync system is known for having a difficult/laggy screen it doesn’t have apple car or android auto which at this point feels like it should be standard on anything 2020+, wireless charger, softer seats and padding on doors, larger rotors front and rear, an actual 4 piston Brembo caliper with the second caliber for the drift mode/emergency brake, and I didn’t notice it but my buddy said the mt82 felt more sturdy. All that for an extra $1000
Go spend that money then and talk yourself into thousands in debt for a bunch of 007 gimmicks and NO MEANINGFUL improvements. 😂 Double Snorkel intake - PFFT! 🤤
Steeda and 🤡 are sponsored by Ford. They have to stay on Ford's good side. This is a case study for lack of diversification of revenue streams. You become a slave to a master.
Or maybe we don't like being duped by hype, because we're not suckers. You probably voted for Biden and there won't be enough gas for you to drive your new schittbox around with, because all you care about are gimmicks instead of paying attention to the what's going on in the world around you. 👎 🤤
Beautiful car, people who own the S550 have to stop the hate for the S650, it's dumb. I remember when the S550 came out, people trashed talked it for months! Yes it's expensive, and if you already own the S550 and like it, then keep it, or don't, just ease up on the hate...
I’m still looking for the mustang crowd that says, “hey I want them all” that’s the side I’m on! As long as it has the running horse (made by Ford) with the exception of the EV’s then I want it! Just a comment from the biased mustang fan! Haha I love them ALL!
It does seem like everyone has a story or knows someone who owns a Mustang. *My mom and dad had one (late 60's model) *My uncle had one (not sure which year or model exactly) *My older sister had a '93 5.0 *Two of my cousins have had one (a New Edge and an S550) *My nephew has had 2 S197's *I have a '94 GT convertible and a Dark Horse. It's a huge community. I love it when people come up to check out my car and tell me the stories about their Mustangs.
The couple S650 Mustang GT models I've seen and driven showed no build quality issues on both the exterior or interior. The interior uses less plastic and more soft material which helps to eliminate spaces between the dash panels. I'm a big fan of the new hood struts that helps with hard hood closings plus unlike some S550 that had hood Flex at high speeds. From my test drives and reviews. It appears its no longer an issue on the new S650 GT.
But with those exact mods with a tune, it's a 10-second car easily...or once Whipple releases their supercharger kit for it, it's a pretty quick car. I still believe the hate on the S650 is unwarranted considering it still has the factory calibration. Even the weight debate is exaggerated when comparing S550 vs. S650 based on CJ Pony Parts' recent video weighing both.
@@chrism.728 exactly, same hate as the S550 got…. 2yrs later everyone had S550’s. It’s like when a new mustang comes out, people with an older body style have something negative to say. I’ve owned every mustang body style since 1989 EXCEPT the SN95 because I never liked them. Mustangs keep getting better period 👍🏽👍🏽
@chrism.728 yea, I'm not hating on it like Alex. I dislike they call it an S650. It's nothing but an S550 refresh. Hell, an S197 was still an S197 with a refresh in 2010 and the Coyote in 2011. So Ford did get a bit retarded on this by calling it a next gen Mustang.
All the Dyno numbers I'm seeing are all over the board. Palm Beach Dyno just ran multiple Dyno pulls in a factory stock Dark Horse. Their horsepower number was spot on at 500 crank horsepower. Regarding the S550 Look at the last two years of sales. The sales plummeted with the Challenger outselling the S550. Even the Mustang Mach E was outselling the S550. Without the Mach E and the F-150. The V8 Mustang would likely have been discontinued. The Mach E isn't the less of two evils. They're introductions were timed perfectly by Ford giving Ford the Fleet mpg room to build the new Coyote V8 S650 Mustang. One final thing. Regarding pricing. I've looked at two S650 GT coupes in my region. One in the mid Forties and one toward the upper Forties with zero markups. I've seen new left over 2023 S550 Mustang GTs at or above those prices. For 60 years. The Mustang has never ended production. Pretty damn amazing
Ford intentionally made the S650 look a bit like the Camaro, so when it goes out of production, they can have existing Camaro owners buy a Mustang. It's a marketing move.
I like it. All these people hating it makes me want to order a 2025. I feed off their hate. I await the power adders for this. hopefully some nice centri kits or twin turbos. I want the lightest weight power adder possible, not nitrous though.
Yup, numbers don't lie. These numbers are a bit disappointing. So is the steeda quarter mile 11.2 for all their inventory mods list $$$$$$$ YDBT ain't lying.
The N/A game will always be more expensive...and that 11.2 is with a stock calibration. That car is definitely a consistent 10-sec car with an aftermarket tune with those same mods. People just hate on anything new...lol. Once tuners are able to tune these cars we'll see the real potential of these cars.
Have you driven the Dark Horse on a race track. My guess is No. So why comment about something you haven't tried. Read Motor Trends review. They were extremely impressed with the Dark Horse plus that's likely the close as you'll get to lapping a Dark Horse on a race track. Frankly I haven't read an owners review regarding tracking their Dark Horse
Crazy i like the Dark Horse a bit better than the GT500! It grew on me quickly and I actually love it and would like to get one of these now instead of an GT500! Seems like it would be easier for a novice human to take care of instead of the supercharged GT500 that i might break. Lol yeah just seems a lot more cheaper and fun. Plus the name is so cool!
@@DWH300 My pleasure! Most people see the Mustang name in think that it's a Mustang. Those that don't follow forward have no idea that it's a five-door hatchback SUV. @@rxibot So your saying people aren't smart enough to know what they're buying. I disagree. If you understood the Federal fleet mpg requirements. Without that Mustang Mach E. There's even GM designs floating around that shows an C8 Corvette SUV. The government has created new cafe regulations that the automotive industry has to follow Higher fleet mpg for their entire automotive line ups and carbon emissions reductions. Get use to it. It's only The beginning. Regarding using the Mustang, Camaro or corvette name is for marketing. There's many people who wanted to own a Mustang coupe, but required usable rear seats and 4 doors. I'm guessing you've never driven one. I found it a fantastic EV vehicle. The Mach E was introduced in 2020. Three years later and your still complaining. Find something more important to worry about. The Mustang Mach E is here to stay with the Camaro version soon to follow. By the way. Because Stellantis and Exceeded their required fuel economy numbers. They paid hugh government fines. Is the point of Mustang also paying thousands more for a hobby that the majority of the hobbyists can't afford? The Dark Horse definitely a sic mustang no doubt it but the biggest issue is the price, you can find used GT350 for the same or less.

1,000 miles. Then do a oil change using Amsoil
