  • Well here it is ! This is by far my biggest project so far. This is the entirety of the movie I made for the 1974 Wembley show. You guy’s liked the first part so much I had to make a second part. Thank you all for the great support. It’s nice to see that people enjoy something that I do only for fun.
Of course this is not the real footage of the gig, I tried my best to recreate the show with professional and audience footage.
If you have any request or idea feel free to tell me I’m not really sure what my next project will be. I’m thinking about doing the same kind of movie for the Animals tour but I’m not really sure
    Hope y’all enjoy !

I saw the Dark Side of the Moon Tour in 1973 at The Roosevelt Stadium in New Jersey. First time I saw a 6 channel audio system with diamond quad special effects and actual explosives and rockets. But seeing the guys that composed this masterpiece about 20 feet from the stage, properly dosed with my favorite psychedelics, with 2 of my dearest friends, now dearly departed, is a lifelong memory never to be repeated in the years following and over 100 more shows. They just don't do shows like this, nor write music like this anymore. May a thousand blessing be bestowed upon those that help preserve these memories for we old folks and give the younger a glimpse into the world of music we so dearly loved.

I was unfortunately only 2 years old. And it wasn't until 1987 that I found Floyd. 15 years old and music changed me for life. Gone was the bouncing around to hair metal as an idiot young teenager with mommy and daddy needing to drive you and your friends everywhere. A friend said, "come down to dude's house with me, I have something for you to try and something to hear." And I sat around a dining room table with bowls, bongs, and joints rotating around for the first time and heard Comfortably Numb for the first time.
Immediate dash to the record store, who is Pink Floyd, that guitar solo was unbelievable? What is The Wall? Start flipping through albums (cassette tapes, LOL), what is? Neat cover with the prism. Dark Side of the Moon? Ah, who do we wish was here? Wait, The Wall is a movie? What's that about?
All you who experienced each album as it came out, imagine at 15 discovering all of them at once! Mind absolutely blown beyond comprehension!
And then one day I come home and I hear SOYCD just blasting from upstairs in the bedrooms. I'm going to kill my little brother. How dare he touch my Floyd. How dare he touch my stereo. I burst into my room to find Dad sitting on the edge of the bed as Gilmour is wailing as the guitar climaxes in Part VI. He turns to me eyes wide, "What... the... hell... is this!" I let SOYCD finish out and say, hold on, did you listen to this one at all yet? I put in Dark Side of the Moon. His favorite band up to that point, Moody Blues. He definitely got Pink Floyd. Graduating and going to work, getting married, having 2 boys and a family to provide for, he never experienced Floyd, too much else on his mind than new music, much like I don't know much of the late 90's and on of music when I got married and had kids and a family to provide for. Rest in Peace Dad and I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

That's fucking beautiful. My dad also had no idea of them until I was years into them and took him to see Roger in 2017. He has been hooked himself since. He's an old school life long trucker. Then I took him to see Nick in 2022. I talked security into letting me meet Nick as long as I helped the roadies and load up equipment. I got to meet Nick and his whole band and guy Pratt all personally after the show. I'll cherish it forever, and that was the first time I saw my dad fan boy in anyway. May your father rest in peace. Thats beautiful. Thanks for sharing

" Shorter of breath, And one day closer to death". I'm 70 and have COPD, a lung disease, caused by smoking which makes you very short of breath. Until you're so short of breath, there isn't any breath..."No one told you when to run, You missed the starting gun." Yep.

I experienced Dark Side of the Moon live at Earl's Court in May 1973. I was 15 and tripping on LSD (I left my parents' house 2 months later). It was utterly transcendent, blowing my spirit out of my body to soar across the night. As Wordsworth wrote: 'Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive, But to be young was very heaven.' Pink Floyd helped set me on a course that is giving me a life filled with wild adventure, witchery, sensual delights, an experience of cosmic unity and much else. Seeing this re-creation of those gigs is just wonderful. Thank you so much and Blessed Be.

Warmed up that old farm house quick,, had to replace glass alot,, leaded glass if i could find it,, fired up the vip turntable
And cut loose pf/moody blues/howlin wolf/muddy waters/ even the stones or beatles but when my
Mum visited i played alot of the classics like rinaldi/mendelssohn/mozart/bach/ but loud!! So after they visited it was louder but the venue changed to mott the hoople/yes /ten years after/moody blues/triumph/deep purple/bad finger/ what ever albums were available at the px on base. Even dad had a friend in cali sending me stuff i couldnt get here in the east coast like flash in the pan/oingo -boingo ,, long ttime ago although mum-dad left me hundreds of old country western/symphonic stuff some at 78 speeds.. now i have over 6824 albums sbout 1/3 of my sound room, good to be retired glad my ears are still good!! I love the live version of Any Colour You Like. It's just a break between the vocal tracks, and yet it's a masterpiece in itself. Mesmerising, Richard Wright is a wonderful keyboard player. The sound of Big Ben right at the end, slowing dramatically to stop....chills. Critics slagged off at them for being sloppy, badly dressed and not caring, and yet here we are 50 years later.

Pink Floyd and Hawkwind, the 2 most important bands ever (both musically and lyrically) Their back catalogues especially from 66 to 83 for Floyd and from 70 to mid 80's for Hawkwind are filled with absolute gold. Pink Floyd started as an 'underground' band and morphed into being able to being heard by all classes and cultural backgrounds in society (and hence their music and lyrics got through to all types of people) , Whereas Hawkwind were always an 'underground' band who carried the whole of the late 60's 'counter culture' along with them all through the 70's 80's 90's and beyond. They had (and still have) a massive cult / underground following and managed to inspire Punk in the mid 70's onwards and then also outdoor / proper 'rave' music and the rave scene from the late 80's onwards. Hawkwind were never interested in making money nor being famous, and hence they have alwasy been a true people's band who's message has been massively important and helped inspire and instigate many counter culture , positive projects and ways of living in real community in harmony with Mother Nature (the way Mother Nature designed humans to live) and for people to free themselves from toxic colonialism and re-discover their true , natural, indigenous selves. So Pink Floyd took on the 'overground' while Hawkwind took on the 'underground' , hence why the 2 bands are so massively important. All teenagers should listen to the 60's 70's 80's work of both these bands, as it'll help set them up for life and make them more ready to deal with the cultural changes that need to take place.

This is great!! Wish I had been old enough, smart enough to have seen Floyd back in this day! They last came to my city during the Animals tour, and missed it because I wasn’t very knowledgeable about Floyd at that time. I was the oldest child, so I didn’t have any older siblings to turn me on to them earlier. There were kids at school that went, and told me how great they were. I checked them out, buying their albums, and became a fan for life! I didn’t get to see them until they broke up: the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. Still are my favorite band of all time! Have every album from Pipers to the Endless River!

This video is great with all the effects, and is a great audio recording! Most of the performance video doesn’t sync with the music, but that’s ok! some of it does, (like Dave playing lead during Money),and is video from the actual concert)!! It does show them playing during this time period, and I can easily forgive that! Better than any video made in the early ‘70s!! (Other than Pink Floyd in Pompeii)!!!
My question: Why did it take so long to see it?? It is a TREASURE!!!!

20 years old, I bought the momentary of reason album the day it came out. Loved it and went on to see Pink Floyd in 1988 in Germany, Maimarktgelände. Started a Pink Floyd tribute band called "Interstellar Overdrive" in 1997. Together we worked out to play most of the songs from "Piper" to "The Wall". Never touched the newer albums for several reasons. The perfect album! Loved Dick Parry’s sax parts! Fit in so well with the music, (also on Wish You Were Here)! The next album Animals was a rather a shock to fans who loved the previous smooth vibe! I loved it, since they were rocking like a rock band with that album! The harsh vibes continued with The Wall! It was Roger’s truth coming out, and some people didn’t like it! I did, until The Final Cut! I was fed up with it with that album! A few good songs, but overall running the same theme into the ground!
I love this video because this was the peak when they were still a full-fledged band that worked together!😊
But I would also include Wish You Were Here, although Roger claims no one else contributed anything, same for Animals and the Wall! Listening, I hear everyone’s contributions!
The Wall would have flopped without Dave’s contributions!! In my opinion!!! His guitar parts ,(and singing), were priceless, IMO!!!

Of all the things a loving parent or friend should do; Introducing them to this album is kind of a must. When our parents couldn't embody these lyrics perfectly, at the very least, they let us imbue ourselves with this. From on the nose truths about a mortal life, to the transcendent beauty of the vocals in Great Gig... To the ominous and beautiful and horrifying, glorious line about the Moon/mental health; Some of this was an instruction booklet for living life when there weren't enough that were labelled as such.

my family lived in Hollywood California so going to concerts was very easy, In 1972 my brother and I got tickets to see Floyd at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in September.
1976 I was working as a Registered Nurse in the US Army Medical Corps and in 1977, I saw Floyd again in NÜRNBERG West Germany doing the wall at the Hitler rally park the sound level was 106 dB and it killed a lot of the fish in the lake!!
I worked in the Medical tent right next to the German Polizei Tents…
1977 down in München at the Olympiahalle = Olympic Hall is in Am Riesenfeld in Munich, Germany
Then in 1987 for my 3RD University degree graduation, I took my wife to see The Momentary Lapse of Reason at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
Man I wish they stayed together and created more music because they are truly iconic❤❤❤❤.
