I saw them do most of the album at the Playhouse in Edinburgh before the album was even cut. Must`ve have been 1972. They were testing the reaction as far as I know, before completing the full and final cut. So am led to believe anyway. The drugs were strong back then 😇😎

20 years old, I bought the momentary of reason album the day it came out. Loved it and went on to see Pink Floyd in 1988 in Germany, Maimarktgelände. Started a Pink Floyd tribute band called "Interstellar Overdrive" in 1997. Together we worked out to play most of the songs from "Piper" to "The Wall". Never touched the newer albums for several reasons. Roger is an excellent and underrated bass player, and that comes out in his quite lovely line in Great Gig in the Sky. He doesn't show off as much as put in the right variations at the right times.

I saw them on April 13th 1975 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco at the age of 17 and I was flying on about 20 hits of my favorite super clean psychedelic chemical one of the best shows of my of my youth. I was there with my best friend, who sadly is no longer here. ❤ Pink Floyd

Soy fans de La mas grande banda de todos los tiempos, y todos los días me preguntó, porque no dejan el egoísmo de lado, el dinero, los derechos, cuestiones internas que los fans de todo el mundo desconocemos y tal vez poco nos interese . Si me interesa poder ver y escuchar, ( bien filmado y buen sonido) un solo live show de nuestra banda de las giras que van desde 1973 al '77 , un solo show completo, aquí en este canal, es increíble realmente que no podamos acceder a un solo live show en 2024. Nuestra banda desde sus inicios contó con todo lo necesario para realizar la filmación de sus live shows, etc . Por ej : subir uno de los tantos shows que PF brindó en todo el mundo durante el '77 "In the Flesh" - "Animals Tours Live". Saludos Floydianos ⚒️ . Gustav de Arg 🇦🇷

I was there. Greatest concert of my life. This was all new material as the album had only been out a short time. Unforgetable.Time has a particular meaning for me. " Shorter of breath, And one day closer to death". I'm 70 and have COPD, a lung disease, caused by smoking which makes you very short of breath. Until you're so short of breath, there isn't any breath..."No one told you when to run, You missed the starting gun." Yep.

I saw Pink Floyd during their Dark Side of the Moon Tour on June 16, 1973 at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City, New Jersey. Unbelievably, the ticket price was a whopping $5 USD. I wonder what PF would draw today, considering those of much lesser talent are getting several hundred to several thousands per ticket. What a time to be alive in the 70's...best music ever.
