Those 2 guys are some of the biggest douchebags in the music business. The way they treated all the extra personnel on dark side is just... Sad. Pathetic, really
I'm 23 years old yet I still come here at least twice a month. And I really want friends come here to listen to this masterpiece. Unfortunatly they're not to be found in these times.
I play this in my car, driving to work. Especially now during lockdown, I am a frontline health worker, so I need some amazing music just to keep rolling on. Stay in your bubble everyone and be kind. Xxxxx
Pink Floyd is the only music I know you can listen to their work for 30 years and NEVER get tired of it. I've probably listened to for the last 30 years and I enjoy it each time and I feel like I'm discovering something new every time. I've been to David and Roger's concert. It is mind-blowing.
I heard it first on the radio when I was three years old. I remember that very well. It was Brain Damage and Eclipse. I didn't know who sang it until I was 22 years old.
@@jeffryancarlson3273 Lol only 30 years i have listened to them since 1969 and iam now 70 and still cannot get over how great they are and people of today still like them 2024.
For folks like me who sometimes don't have the time to watch it all: a quick list: 1. Speak To Me / Breathe (Reprise) 2. Money 5:06 3. Wish You Were Here 11:45 4. Comfortably Numb 16:24 - Nick so psyched for David's guitar solo he chucks his headphones - 18:30 - Roger calls group hug - 23:33
"Roger calls group hug" - that moment, it was that friggin' moment, they could have done it. It wasn't even a matter of money, if they wrote a new album together it would simply obliterate all charts worldwide. All that effin' bad blood. Now Rick is gone, Nick is retired, David just sporadically writes stuff with his daughter and Roger does nostalgia tours. They could do it, that moment at time. This timeline, just a few nudges to the right direction(s) and so much more great music would be given to the world.
@@rscottwilliams5706 I'd love to see it happen. Just think of the phenomenal music, they would put out!?!? But, NO your right. Because, any band of today wouldn't have to go through what they did to produce their great music!
You probably won't see this comment, but I just want to thank you for your being. Pink Floyd has been with me through the most difficult times of my life. When I couldn't even explain in words how I felt, your songs understood and explained me to myself. When I was alone and nobody knows my pains, I was listening your songs. I know we feel the same
You are not alone with that feeling, Pink Floyd has been a big part of me since the 70´. The songs are like words out of my mouth. Be well and stay safe
2024 and I am still tuning in. God bless you all for the greatest music for the past 50+ years. I'm 72 and no doubt you are the greatest band in my lifetime. Rock on.
a few months ago, i got really into pink floyd. ive been listening to them practically non stop since, learning a lot about their history as a band. i just recently found out my dad used to be a huge pink floyd fan as well, and when he learned i liked them, i could tell how excited about it he was. he’s been telling me so many facts about the band i never knew, and i can tell how happy he is doing it. i really owe it to this band that ive made such a fantastic connection with my dad.
Beautiful story ad! Quite some years back I heard my son of early teens blaring Twisted Sister (or Bent Brother, not sure) from his bedroom through his new stereo (that's what we used to call them). I heard myself say, "What the hell is that noise? You can't even understand a word they're saying! I had a sudden flash that my father had said the same thing, and immediately realized that I had to do something. I grabbed "Dark Side of the Moon", headed down the hall and opened his door and said, "here, put this on!" He did. It was incredibly heart warming to realize that he fell in love with it. Yes, Pink Floyd has done wonderful things for this world...
Growing up my dad always played The Wall. I could not stand it as a kid. The babies crying, loud ship and crash sounds, but as I got older the band became one of my favourites. We got to see Roger Water's The Wall in 2010 in Toronto together, a night i'll never forget. I lost my dad in 2012 but he's always around when Pink is playing.
The Final goodbye of the Floyd, the greatest most touching band. A great friend of mine and my dad is currently 89 and suffering from dementia and he is one of my inspirations. He loves the Floyd and said he must have owned and worn out about three wish you were here albums. When my dad and I put on pink Floyd shine on you crazy diamond for him you could just see his eyes light up as all the memories that came with the music came back, and his love for floyd. This is why I love the Floyd, because they touch you deeply and can bring memories and magic to life. Thank you
Music does reach through dementia and connect us to our loved ones. One time in her nursing home, I sung a line to my mother who had severe dementia..."I'm an old cowhand, on the Rio Grande..." She pulled herself upright in her wheelchair and proudly shouted out the next line, "and my legs ain't bowed, and my cheeks ain't tanned." Lordy I didn't even remember that, but someone who never spoke awakened to herself and her memories, if even for only a few minutes. Bless you and your love for your dad.
Me too. Pink Floyd always gets me jamming. Got to see them a few times over the years so I am grateful to have had that experience. Loved concerts in the pre cell phone era.
im a 14 yr old kid who has been brought up by my now passed dad listening to pink floyd and metallica and other bands alike . i have every pink floyd album on vinyl and listen to them . wish you were here brings a tear to my eye every time i hear it as me and my dad used to sing along to it whener it came on the radio , and now ive learnt it on guitar and play it on my acoustic at his grave . Also nick smiling and taking off his headphones to listen to gilmours masterpiece solo in comfortably numb is chilling . thanks for all the great memories you have given me to remember my dad with . LOVE YOU GUYS . LEGENDS THAT WILL NEVER DIE
Very cool take from a 14 year old - the world needs more people like you - I also picked up on the "Nick taking off his headphones" thing - nice observation.
Mesmerizing!!! One of the greatest band of all times. Their music was not made only for 70’s or 80’s. Their music and lyrics are so advanced that their music will be listened for generations to come.
@@THEJR-of5tf there is nobody to match their live shows, great to watch on video but an absolute experience to see live…. So glad to have had that experience 3 times 😃
In 1971, I was 14 years old...happened the first time I heard Echoes...I was hooked. For me, they have been the greatest band ever since. Then at 16, Dark Side of the Moon came out. It confirmed every feeling I ever had about Pink Floyd. Even went to see them in 1973. I'm 66 now, and I still listen to Pink Floyd albums most days. One of the world's greatest treasures. Made my life way better.
I was 10 when Dark Side came out and it has been with me ever since, like you. I don't know how many LPs and cassettes i have worn out but it is timeless.
FIRST song I heard Was.....Echos too!! I WAS HOOKED till this day!!! Ive seen them MANY times, in MANY places with and without Waters. Im 64 made My life Better too!!! Be well!!! John/Canada
I guess in 71, they were so so different to anything else at that time, even after the Barratt era. I own every album from Meddle onwards, born in 72, but I have been hooked on the post Barratt era Floyd for decades.
I am just turn 63. .I hear you my music teacher introduced our music class to P Floyd animals album . Been on the Pink Floyd trips till today . Lucky to see them 7 times 1 of witch all there including Syd . Sad the day he walked . Then next sad day fall out between David and Roger. I consider all who found Floyd blessed. My son stayed his trip at 10 with Floyd . First time he say dad who is this he was just starting his instrument studies piano now violin.
I'm 70 next year and have had a fair bit of involvement with music from an early age and one of the best,if not then best was seeing them perform Dark Side of the Moon outside. Amazing beyond belief with real people using real instruments. Thanks for the performances and letting me live in the best music years in the last few thousand.x
I am a 75 year old Marine. Pink Floyd, through their music, helped me navigate through some very bad times & celebrate the better times. Gaia watch over them all!
You chose to fight pointless wars for hawkish polticians. No one forced you. I hate when people act like they are so devastated after returning from a war that they signed up for fighting in the first place. That's like putting my hand in the meat grinder and then expecting people to feel sorry for me. Smh. If more people were like me wars wouldn't exist. I'll never thank any veteran for their service because doing so means I have to accept the premise of whatever war they fought in and the premises for all th US wars are of corporate nature. No thank you. I shake my head and think "how stupid ppl are to throw their lives away for a hawkish government". I was smarter than that. Fuck ears and fuck the military in every country. Fuck all people who sign up to go to war. So stupid. So fucking stupid.
Don't worry dear mate, he's waiting. If you can explain from where gravity comes, or magnetism for that matter, or how the moon comes to be in 'tidal lock' to Earth, such that we never see it's dark side, or how it happens to be 400 times smaller than the sun yet in an eclipse it is the same size such that we get a 'diamond ring corona' due to it being 400 times closer to earth..... once you can explain all these things then tell me that this life is all there is and I'll believe you... Your time starts: NOW ;-)
I am 85 now and whenever I get a chance, I tune in and watch most Pink Floyd, concerts and never get tired of listening. By far, he and his other performers are the best.
The fact I’ll never get to see them live is sad, but every time I see this performance it reminds me their music is eternal.. Pink Floyd thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the amazing music!
One of the - if not, THE - most epic 24 minutes in R&R history. Didn't happen for 24 years. Can never happen again. To those in attendance, I envy you.
My hair stands on end with this master piece of geniuses rogers biggest mistake in life was thinking he was bigger then floyd shine on you crazy diamonds rip
I am 66 years old came up in glued listening to Pink Floyd! Still to this day these songs go to my soul! Where has our music gone in the generation! To all musicians in today's generation(s) this was music that was phenomenally written produced and performed 😡😡😡I retired from playing about 7 years ago but when I hear one of these Fender P or J basses played makes me want to pick a bass guitar up again!!!
Thank you Syd (RIP), Richard (RIP), Nick, David & Roger for adding to our quality of lives for so long - you’ve touch so many hearts and many more yet to come… Thank you and God bless.

Not as lucky as the ones who lived in the same generation of Beethoven...
There's a brilliant version of Comfortably Numb that Waters and Company played at the Berlin Wall when it was brought down. Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, and Levon Helm join in, but it's Van The Man who stirs the soul like no other. There's a DVD of the whole show, but I think this particular number may be on RUclips. Check it out.

Tears, chills, goosebumps, respect, admiration, awe, and sadness......all a result of watching Pink Floyd, and knowing they will no longer be playing together. The greatest live band of their time.
I have to interject that the Grateful Dead was the greatest LIVE band of any time. However, Pink Floyd is their own genre of music, and therefore has no equal. Furthermore, don't be sad at what passes away from this life, just be happy that you had part of "their season" with them, and that we can now have these videos at our disposal to watch again when we want.

I will always remember the day I discovered Pink Floyd. It was a Saturday in the summer of 1973, sitting in a '63 Pontiac, in a hay field , behind a haystack , with my buddy drinking beer and smoking reefer. He pops in an 8 track , it was DSOTM. I says, who's this . He said Pink Floyd. I m 63 now, and still a faithful listener . There is none better than Pink Floyd.
great story, one day in 2018 i was driving around with my buddy and he said dude i got an album for you. Tells me to open his phone go to spotify and look up animals bt pink floyd im 18 and now a faithful listener
I'm glad it was in "The Wall" double Pink Floyd album. There aren't any tracks in "The Wall" I don't like any less. Granted Dark Side of The Moon and Wish You Were Here were great melodic tunes (known for mellow soft rock's greatest) I do love the way Pink Floyd turned up the volume with "Animals" and "The Wall" for those tracks deserving of their own for how to approach Hard Rock in the youth culture of the late 1970s taking in many other music artists having songs inspiring also.
@@Spudworm891 ... Hell yeah! 👍 Even just selecting the random two tracks from the Wall: "One Of My Bad Turns" and the following track "Ohhh Babe (Don't Leave Me Now)!" 😵😊 ... Or ... from The Wall "Empty Spaces (movie What Shall We Do Now)" to "Young Lust" to "You Better Run Like Hell!" I taped on CrO2 metal cassette tapes "Animals" and double album time "The Wall" for my car cassette player still working today everywhere I drive! 👋
I was a bar man in a pub when this was on the big TV. The whole pub stopped for half an hour. I served nobody and we all just watched it. Many years I worked in the bar and this never happened before and never again since. Was quite weird.
Pink Floyd never cease to amaze me. For countless times i listened to their songs and watched their videos. The feeling remains the same. Still feels like the first fime. How i love Pink Floyd.

a few songs gives me chills, a few bring tears but i think the 2nd solo in comfortably numb is the first guitar solo to bring me tears. it's as close to perfect as music can get
I’m proud to have made it to 69years old & had the honour to listen to Pink Floyd music, with the unmistakable voice of David Gilmour. Pink Floyd’s music makes my whole body feel every harmonic, bass, well so many sounds to feel, that’s absolutely wonderful, euphoric & many more emotions, no drug comparison. So I thank you for your awesome 😎 music. Never to old to FEEL the LOVE/MUSIC 🙏🙏💖💖🥰🥰🥰🥰🇦🇺👏🏻👏🏻
Gilmour's voice on Roger's great songs is part of what drew me to noticing them on the radio. It's Roger's dynamic and emotional voice and lyrics and arrangements on the albums, that keep me listening 35 years later.
This concert gives me shivers... cause it's like watching the perfect performance of time and the love of music.... to see this band TOGETHER after all they have been through. The creative force that brought these 4 amazing gentlemen together... unbelievable... Long live Roger, David, Richard and Nick and Sid.... PINK FLOYD FOREVER.
I remember when dark side hit the stores. I listened to that album 100 times. Seems like yesterday. Life goes by faster and faster the older you get. Embrace and enjoy everyday you can. And be good. The world needs that especially these days.
That moment at the end when Waters beckons to Gilmour to come over and puts his arm around Gilmour's shoulders, and then the four stood together. It gave me chills.
There's too much bad blood between Waters and Gilmour for them to ever be friends again --- but at least they recognized the fans deserved to see one final "happy reunion"
What they don't show you, is that after that brief get together by all four, the other three of them shunned Waters completely and had their own group hug, so to speak - without Waters - and for much longer.
Hats off to Roger Waters, David Gilmore, Richard Right, Mick Mason each one of you. Such a brilliant and talented musician you are...the world will never have such music ever again. I wish I could see live PF concert in my lifetime. I am from Bangladesh me and my friends are PF fan over 30 years. Lots of love and respect ❤️🇧🇩

I meant this concert. Ya I remember this record was new for years after it's release in Nov 79. It's over played not my favourite on the record, but great song. Strange there's got to be more to this concert. Echoes is one of my favourite songs. I'm a drummer and love playing with my headphones on listening on RUclips. There's a concert Dave plays Echoes last time before Rick dies and there's a sit in drummer that is dull, he doesn't play all the fills at all, I was I was playing I'd play it just Nick did at Pompeii.
Pink Floyd is my favorite band of all time. They have helped me through so many times in my life, the fun, the sad, the hard, and just about every time in between. I started listening to them when I was 12 and it will make me very happy and I hope that I can go out listening to their great music. Their music resonates in my soul. I would not have been the person I am today without this wonderful music. Thank you guys for all the great times and sounds. Your music will live on for generations to come due to its greatness! 😃
Wish You Were Here always gets to me. It reminds me of my Granny (she took care of me most of my life) who passed away 6 years ago. She was the one who introduced me to Floyd. When I was in my early to mid teens, she bought me The Wall and DSOTM for Christmas. I gave her a look like, wth is this? Before I could say anything, she said, "Go to your room, lay down, put on your headphones, and just listen. Trust me, you'll love it." I did. In fact, I did more than that. I cried; cried tears of joy for listening to the most beautiful music in the world for the first time in my life. When I finished listening to both albums, I went downstairs with a smile on my face. My Granny smiled back at me and said, "See? What did I tell you?" I remember us watching Live 8 together on the TV. We loved every second of PF's performance, agreeing that it was a great idea that they were one of the last acts because you MUST save the best for last. I love you, Granny. I wish you were here.
Lucky you, what a fantastic gift to you from your granny, and so cool that you were able to appreciate it. I listened and watched it with tears flowing down my cheeks, and I'm not even sure why. Amazing and Beautiful.
I found this little gem April 10, 2020 during the COVID-19 "stay at home" quarantine. Biggest smile I've had in weeks especially seeing all four members together like that at the end.
Music like this is time immortal and will live long after we are gone. My son has my collection of albums and will enjoy this music long after my ashes have dissolved in the oceans...

For me, Pink Floyd is more than a rock band. This is a whole era. Floyd gave the world more than just beautiful music. They gave the world a conscience. From Russia with love.
What a performance.... to perform that live music after so many years and recriminations...... Just sheer professionalism. I am truly honoured to be able to watch this GEM here on the other side of the globe.....all these years later. Thank you.
I end up crying every time I listen to this concert. It is such a sad thing that I will never see them live in my life. Such a powerful and amazing band. They are definitely eternal, they are history and a human patrimony. RIP and thanks for all Syd and Richard
My biggest regret was missing the chance to Pink Floyd live! I was in the Navy in 74 and couldn't get anybody to take my watch they night they played. Pink Floyd is to this day my favorite group of artists.
It's GILMOUR, you fuckwit. And, no David, Nick and Richard gave each little head nods and smirks, especially when Roger was talking. They were taking the piss.
My God, to watch them together gain, playing Comfortably Numb... to feel it - to watch them feeling it, to hear those awesome lyrics and listen to the greatest rock guitar solo of all time... what a treasure!
I first hear Pink Floyd when I was 12 yrs old cruising in a impala o f their 8 track. Now I'm 60 and understand why those times are so remembered. Rollie
So would I. Was deeply saddened when Rick passed away. Knowing then, my dream will forever never happen. At least we all got their tremendous catalog we can listen too. But still...
All music is real music. Stop invoking your own version of the true Scotsman fallacy. And newer generations won't get into Pink Floyd for the sake reasons you didn't get into 1600s church music. You didn't grow up with it. You think pink Floyd is true music and for generations to come because that's how you feel. But if we could ask someone from the past they would miss the music they grew up with the same way you'll miss Pink Floyd.
@@chrisking6695 Hey ! What's with the heavy vibes. Who says Oscar isn't into '1600s church music' which is called............? I am ! There are plenty of other sites for bad vibes.

Miss Tina Maria Cassar. watching from Wales UK. An excellent band one of the best! With the tribute bands from Australia and Wales playing live I've seen the Welsh Pinc Floyd band X3 now can't get enough of their live shows! Not seen the genuine Pink Floyd live though wish I had!
That's because they are TRUE artists, nothing like the cr*p today that call themselves artists for working with autotunes and a truckload of other fancy stuff. They're incapable of pulling this off and they won't be remembered like Pink Floyd or some other great bands from the 60-80's, because they just don't have it. I'm glad I'm one of the generation that were able to live this period, seen a lot of concerts, Yes, Uriah Heep, etc etc, all amazing. Too bad all these great artists are leaving us one by one.
They might have killed each other, but the music they made might have been worth it. I so wish that one day the kids of these guys decide to do something incredible and put all their feisty dads solo work together in a pot and have i dunno, fatboy slim & the ghost of alan parsons sample & remix their isolated tracks of the into an album-length jam.
This really makes me appreciate the luck of being born in the late 50's ! I've been to hundreds of live shows , I've got the hearing loss to prove it . Pink Floyd was always incredible live...Thanks.....Peace

Pink Floyd is the only music I know you can listen to their work for 30 years and NEVER get tired of it. I've probably listened to for the last 30 years and I enjoy it each time and I feel like I'm discovering something new every time. I've been to David and Roger's concert. It is mind-blowing.
And now you understand, hopefully, how we felt as teens when DS and WYWH came out. We listened on vinyl records and wore out our albums 🩷
I heard it first on the radio when I was three years old. I remember that very well. It was Brain Damage and Eclipse. I didn't know who sang it until I was 22 years old.

- Roger calls group hug - 23:33
Life’s far too short to not take time to properly listen to DSOTM in its entirety.
@@perejoe1236 and then listen to Wish You Were Here straight after
"Roger calls group hug" - that moment, it was that friggin' moment, they could have done it.
Waters the brain, Gilmour the talent, Mason the power, and Wright the soul of Pink Floyd. Thanks .

Pink Floyd wrote Dogs
Beautiful story ad! Quite some years back I heard my son of early teens blaring Twisted Sister (or Bent Brother, not sure) from his bedroom through his new stereo (that's what we used to call them). I heard myself say, "What the hell is that noise? You can't even understand a word they're saying! I had a sudden flash that my father had said the same thing, and immediately realized that I had to do something. I grabbed "Dark Side of the Moon", headed down the hall and opened his door and said, "here, put this on!" He did. It was incredibly heart warming to realize that he fell in love with it. Yes, Pink Floyd has done wonderful things for this world...
we must be siblings then
Growing up my dad always played The Wall.
How great is that!!!
Thank you
Music is magic. It can transform things. Take care.
Saw Floyd in Munich at the Olympie Halle in 1976 to be honest we didn't know what we were seeing. Now it's too late. Never see any of them again
Waters is srill alive but that's not Floyd
That brought a tear to my eye. All the best
Pink Floyd can take me out of the worst mood I've ever had. They are nearly hypnotic to me. Forever my favorite

53 model myself
And I would just sit on the floor in front of the speakers and just take it all in
And I'm only that young person again in mind. 😁😉
Gilmour's voice on Roger's great songs is part of what drew me to noticing them on the radio. It's Roger's dynamic and emotional voice and lyrics and arrangements on the albums, that keep me listening 35 years later.
One of the few bands whom you never get bored listening the millionth time.
18:30 when nick mason removes his headphones to listen to Gilmour play that legendary solo unadulterated for one last time.
Ugh my heart.
Yes I thought the same!!!
Gilmore’s guitar was too loud in his monitor, sorry to spoil the moment

loved that bit :)
I remember when dark side hit the stores. I listened to that album 100 times. Seems like yesterday. Life goes by faster and faster the older you get. Embrace and enjoy everyday you can. And be good. The world needs that especially these days.
God bless you Dennis
I was 13 yo...became a fan right then.
Totally agree 💯👌
The world won't be lost to bad men, it will be lost because good men do nothing.
Thanks for the reminder Dennis. Our existence is a precious gift... what a time to be alive... to experience this beautiful creation.
That moment at the end when Waters beckons to Gilmour to come over and puts his arm around Gilmour's shoulders, and then the four stood together. It gave me chills.
Same here. I don't know why Waters and Gilmour until today they still remain kind of enemy. The reason why nobody knows.
There's too much bad blood between Waters and Gilmour for them to ever be friends again --- but at least they recognized the fans deserved to see one final "happy reunion"
What they don't show you, is that after that brief get together by all four, the other three of them shunned Waters completely and had their own group hug, so to speak - without Waters - and for much longer.
bingo
Chills. First signs of covid
What a refreshing day listening to my favorite band of all time, amidst the COVID-19 Quarantine!! Songs that were/are solidly classic and antidote to this coronavirus!! A million thanks Pink Floyd!!
Hey I have been Sooo doing my best I am truly trying to find for you and...? I think perfect time for pink Floyd I hope you enjoy it but everybody Kayla everybody keep care we have no masks here in Montreal everybody is I don’t praying for everybody except myself the world needs more help than you were the careful don’t be big shots and not wear masks please it’s so crucial and gloves now because I will I’m realizing that they are finally people taking it seriously so
PF, Jethro Tull, Uriah Heep, Neil Hannon and Duke Special. An eclectic mix TBH, but it works for me!!
No fear, let us fucking virus in ass!!
Pink Floyd helps me to stay home and relax.
Gods voice turned into notes. Long Live The Dark Side Of The Moon.
My late husband’s favourite band of all time. Wish You Were Here ………
Yep, my best friends' too .. hard to listen to Wish You Were Here without a tear in the eye .. & a joint in the hand
Thank you. Great comments. Keep listening in these strange times
Rest Easy to your husband.
He'll always be with you, Lynette. Best wishes to you
I played Comfortable Numb and Wish you were for my fiance's funeral 23 years ago. We saw Pink Floyd twice in Houston in the Astrodome and Rice Stadium. I will always remember and love PINK FLOYD!!! RIP Syd, Rick Wright and my Robert 05-21-1996.
that second lead solo still brings a tear to my eye just as it did 3 decades ago............some things never grow old.
This wasn't 30 years ago, 2008
@@m42037 Comfortably Numb was released 3 decades+ ago........just as great then as it is today.
I actually really like the first solo, the major one. The minor tonality second is masterful too, of course. Every note of each is bloody brilliant
Trust me, you'll love it."
I did. In fact, I did more than that. I cried; cried tears of joy for listening to the most beautiful music in the world for the first time in my life. When I finished listening to both albums, I went downstairs with a smile on my face. My Granny smiled back at me and said, "See? What did I tell you?"
I remember us watching Live 8 together on the TV. We loved every second of PF's performance, agreeing that it was a great idea that they were one of the last acts because you MUST save the best for last.
I love you, Granny. I wish you were here.
Great story thanks.
Beautiful story. Cool Granny!
Lucky you, what a fantastic gift to you from your granny, and so cool that you were able to appreciate it. I listened and watched it with tears flowing down my cheeks, and I'm not even sure why. Amazing and Beautiful.
Cool Grandma.
Granny Rocks
I found this little gem April 10, 2020 during the COVID-19 "stay at home" quarantine. Biggest smile I've had in weeks especially seeing all four members together like that at the end.
Music like this is time immortal and will live long after we are gone. My son has my collection of albums and will enjoy this music long after my ashes have dissolved in the oceans...

When I was 20 and heard Pink Floyd for the first time, I knew this was my music. Today I am 66 and it still gets me shivers.
What makes all this music so special is when it was made they never knew how special it would become.
Miracles do happen! LOL
I was fortunate to see Roger Waters in concert last year, its the closest I’ll ever get to seeing a Pink Floyd concert.
Emir Santillan It happens to me too :(
I was lucky enough to see their Animals Tour in 1977 at the Cape Cod coliseum and it was amazing!🐖

My biggest regret was missing the chance to Pink Floyd live! I was in the Navy in 74 and couldn't get anybody to take my watch they night they played. Pink Floyd is to this day my favorite group of artists.
Thankyou Dad for introducing me to this..Miss you everyday..I feel apart of you still here when I'm listening to this..
I feel the same. Floyd music keeps my dad close to me. I swear I can hear him singing along
14:14, Gilmore looks back at Mason and gives a little smirk. You can tell it’s pure joy and they are just enjoying the moment.
I always took that as a smirk in reference to Waters as if to say "what a twat".

@@ralphwellmanii569 nah, they're just enjoying the moment
It's GILMOUR, you fuckwit. And, no David, Nick and Richard gave each little head nods and smirks, especially when Roger was talking. They were taking the piss.
I noticed that as well, more of a little smile!
I called in sick to work to watch this live on TV...an excellent life decision on my part.
Absolutely......For this I would have done the same
There is always work......
But this is a once in a lifetime experience ❤
i'm 103 and i am still jamming to pink floyd
My God, to watch them together gain, playing Comfortably Numb... to feel it - to watch them feeling it, to hear those awesome lyrics and listen to the greatest rock guitar solo of all time... what a treasure!
Really nice to see Waters passion for the words when Gilmour is singing. And Gilmour sings just like the record at his age. Fair play to them.

That never will die
It's for all generations to come and enjoy
All music is real music. Stop invoking your own version of the true Scotsman fallacy. And newer generations won't get into Pink Floyd for the sake reasons you didn't get into 1600s church music. You didn't grow up with it. You think pink Floyd is true music and for generations to come because that's how you feel. But if we could ask someone from the past they would miss the music they grew up with the same way you'll miss Pink Floyd.

After basically being apart for 23 years these guys come back together, practice three days and play quite possibly the best performance they ever did together. What if they could have held it together all those years they didn't play together? Amazing!
Absolutely I agree...
Yes❤
They might have killed each other, but the music they made might have been worth it. I so wish that one day the kids of these guys decide to do something incredible and put all their feisty dads solo work together in a pot and have i dunno, fatboy slim & the ghost of alan parsons sample & remix their isolated tracks of the into an album-length jam.
I envy every single person in that crowd
Oh yeah... since 2005 I do it...
