I forgot how cute she was. (I'm the same age.) I couldn't take my eyes off her mouth!!
Lauri even noticed that they always never graduated them early on the show! Katie was a senior for sure in season 1 because Julie was a Junior at Lincoln High and Katie took that test for college. Season 2 we didn't even hear anything of what grade anyone was in. Season 3 they kept her a junior again! Season 3 Katie graduated high school and Julie graduated high school most likely at the end of season 4. Lara Jill graduated high school at the end of season 5. Lara Jil started out as a 7th grader, I think. then 8th grade in season 2, yet we don't know it. Season 3 she was 14, so she must have been as Freshman that season. Season 4 it seems she was a Sophomore/Junior combined, then season 5 she was for sure a senior because at the start of season 6 she was going into college.Something weird is the 3rd season was the first Christmas episode, so let's just say seasons 1-2 everything stood the same. Nobody graduated. It was like a year in itself and took place after the holidays of 1981. That's how I look at it. Season 3 is where things start moving along, yet Julie is still a Junior for that year as well.
She was intelligent in real life. Very smart girl!!!

I still like Lauri Hendler as a brunette and wear glasses.That is the way I like her
I like her big round plastic frame glasses. They look like 1980's granny glasses which were popular with young girls as well. Now big frames are in style again. Lauri is a pretty name. There's also Laurie but Lauri without the e is cute, too. I saw her on Three's Company wearing big round plastic frames.
