Don't forget John Hoyt, who played the grandfather. He was a big-time Hollywood veteran, from playing the doctor in the first pilot ("The Cage") of the original "Star Trek" series and numerous TV roles since the dawn of TV to his death, to his prolific film career, including the infamous John Wayne movie "The Conqueror," which is believed to have led to premature deaths of several of its stars and crew members, as it was filmed near a radioactive waste dump in Utah. He might have been the longest-living survivor from the tragedy.
